Online story: "Wilmington, Del., has a big problem: Large groups of black people are going crazy. * And this collective “mental illness” is causing record levels of crime and gun violence in this mostly black town of 70,000. * That is the official diagnosis of the city council, which, by unanimous agreement earlier this month, asked the Centers for Disease Control to investigate a wave of psychological mayhem that has turned this historic and once-charming city into an unrecognizable husk of its former self. * Chief diagnostician of this crisis in public health is city council member Hanifa G.N. Shabazz: * “There is a well known fact that the African-American community here in the United States of America is still suffering from the traumatic syndrome of slavery,” Shabazz said. “That is compounded with the many effects that are happening in today’s society with our young people and the things they are seeing, and there is definitely a shift of mental capacity of their ability to make good decisions. That results in gun violence.” -- "collective mental illness"? "traumatic syndrome of slavery"? Oh, so every black is a victim, and OObamaCRAP should consider this a 'pre-existing condition"? Once again... the problem is not racism... it's culturism.

Online story: "A&E has suspended "Duck Dynasty" star Phil Robertson following anti-gay comments he made in a recent GQ profile, according to a report by Entertainment Weekly. * On Wednesday evening, A&E released this statement to Entertainment Weekly: "“We are extremely disappointed to have read Phil Robertson’s comments in GQ, which are based on his own personal beliefs and are not reflected in the series Duck Dynasty. His personal views in no way reflect those of A+E Networks, who have always been strong supporters and champions of the LGBT community. The network has placed Phil under hiatus from filming indefinitely. * Phil Roberston in response to the controversy:“I myself am a product of the 60s; I centered my life around sex, drugs and rock and roll until I hit rock bottom and accepted Jesus as my Savior. My mission today is to go forth and tell people about why I follow Christ and also what the bible teaches, and part of that teaching is that women and men are meant to be together. However, I would never treat anyone with disrespect just because they are different from me. We are all created by the Almighty and like Him, I love all of humanity. We would all be better off if we loved God and loved each other.”" -- This isn't about Phil Robertson's "lack of tolerance", it's about the A&E AND the overall entertainment and media industries intolerance for individual thought.

Antithesis example online story of above: "Lostprophets singer Ian W(_*_)tkins has been sentenced to 35 years in jail for multiple child sex offenses, including the attempted rape of a baby. * W(_*_)tkins, 36, was sentenced to 35 years on Wednesday, Dec. 18, after pleading guilty to 13 child sex offenses in November, according to the BBC. He will serve 29 years in jail and will remain under police supervision for six years. He will be up for parole after serving two-thirds of the sentence. * Two days after he admitted to the attempted rape in court, Watkins spoke to a female fan from prison: "I do not know what everybody is getting so freaked out about," he said, according to a transcript of the conversation. "It was like either I go up there and say: 'Come on it was not that bad. Nobody got hurt,' [or] try to win them over with my charm. * Watkins' lawyer attempted to argue that the defendant "unravelled" because of drug use and the pressures of fame" -- Confirmation that the entertainment and media industries feel perversion is OK, but you can't call it that if you're not part of it. Guess it's "OK" for "insiders" to refer to someone as a "pervA" but not a "perver"....

I think it's time for a class action suit against Congress... A suit to limit Congress from vudgeting any programs that aren't specifically provided for in the U.S. Constitution.
---
Hmmm, have you ever thought about the view from the Oglethorpe Bridge as a newcomer drives in from the west? Ah! Baseball stadium... maybe I'll catch a game while I'm here.... NOT! Great first impression....NOT!
It's sorta like being invited to test drive a new luxury car, but finding out it doesn't have an engine.

Online story: "The U.S. Army War College, which molds future field generals, has begun discussing whether it should remove its portraits of Confederate generals — including those of Robert E. Lee and Thomas “Stonewall” Jackson. * During the inventory, an unidentified official — not the commandant, Maj. Gen. Anthony A. Cucolo III — asked the administration why the college honors two generals who fought against the United States * “I do know at least one person has questioned why we would honor individuals who were enemies of the United States Army," -- My first question is why the US Army War College has any employee so ignorant of military history working there, but the answer to the question "why" is that Lee and Jackson, who were both American citizens, were two of the finest military minds in the history of world, and any new officer needs to understand how those two thought.

Hmmm, teen use of marijuana is up and climbing..but guess what, they aren't buying it from the street dealers. With the advent of medical marijuana outlets, teens can now get adults to buy it for them... sorta like the way it used to be with liquor stores before really good computer fake IDs became so available.

Judas 00-bama and Obamarat leadership in Congress (is that an oxymoron?) are going after Congressman Issa as overzealous in his bringing light on Issues. Hey, as Chairman of the Oversight Committee, that's his job!

Online story: "Senate Republicans were unable to stop military pension cuts when Senate Democrats blocked a vote on an amendment to prevent the cuts by closing a welfare loophole for illegal immigrants Tuesday evening. * Removing this unbalanced treatment of our military retirees ought to be one of the key actions we should take before this legislation moves forward. In fact, greater savings than this can be achieved by passing a legislative fix recommended by the Inspector General of the U.S. Treasury that would stop the IRS from improperly providing tax credits to illegal aliens,” Alabama Republican Jeff Sessions said Monday, announcing his co-sponsorship of Mississippi Republican Sen. Roger Wicker’s amendment to restore the military retirement benefits Monday. * Additionally, the Alabama Republican offered his own amendment to restore the cuts by targeting a child tax credit loophole that illegal immigrants have used to unlawfully obtain welfare benefits." -- What screwed mentality has overcome the Democratic Party, that illegal aliens get preferential treatment versus our military veterans? Think about it....Our borders should be secured by our military, and if the borders were, illegal aliens would not be the problem that it has become.

Online quote source: "“For every good reason there is to lie, there is a better reason to tell the truth.” ― Bo Bennett" -- Wanna bet this has never hung on the wall of a Judas 00-bama or Clinton office? Don't even go to where Jay Carney is...

Low info voter's L-E "soundoff": " Massachusetts’ RomneyCare registered only 123 people the first month, but now their coverage is cheaper and better. Both Republican and Democratic policyholders love it. The only haters are the insurance companies." -- Democrats would seem a lot smarter if they just didn't open their mouths and claim knowledge. NOTHING in Massachusetts is cheaper than it is here (well, politics, maybe, but it's close).
---
The must be the same low info voter's L-E "soundoff": " People buying health insurance in the 25 states without exchanges pay 15 percent more than states with exchanges. Thanks, Governors Deal and Bentley." -- No one knows the cost of OObamaCRAP yet, and will not until you try to use it with your previous doctors/hospitals and have to meet the deductibles.
---
Knowledgeable voter's L-E "soundoff": " If we could buy the mayor for what’s she worth and sell her for what she thinks she’s worth, we’d no longer have a deficit." -- Hard to say this any better or more succinctly.
---
Hmmm, have you ever thought about how the mainstream media promotes Congress? When the House passes a bill mainstream media likes, it's a "bi-partisan" bill; if mainstream media doesn't like it, it's a "Republican" bill.

Delta is right... I do not want to hear the drone of cellphone callers sitting around me while flying. I am even more opposed for cellphones being allowed to be "on" during flights for any purpose, as they can be tracked by GPS, and, whole a little more extreme, I can foresee a cellphone case being made out of plastique explosives and triggered by a cellphone call. It wouldn't take a big charge to blow a major aircraft out of the air at 35,000 feet,

L-E story: " DETROIT — Ford Motor Co. warned of tough price competition and harder-to-reach profit targets Wednesday, a sign that the company and the auto industry face a tougher road after four years of robust recovery from the Great Recession. * Ford said its pretax profit next year would drop as much as $1.5 billion below a near-record level of $8.5 billion in 2013" -- Hmmm, sounds like GM flooding the market with its excess inventory will put the "brake" on the auto industry. Hmmm, maybe Judas OO-bama's selling taxpayer stock for "only" a $10 BILLION dollar loss will make hiom "look good" as a market prognosticator, but, on the other hand, the FEC may have to charge him with "insider trading".
