Online headline: "Russia warns U.S. against sanctions * Sanctions would
'boomerang' back to the U.S." -- You know... Judas 00-Barnum is probably
yawning.. after a little bit of spin, he feels he can probably get mainstream
media to blame this all on the Republicans by election time/.
---
Hmmmm...atheists are sickened by the cross monument at "Ground Zero". Well,
I'm sick of atheist whining. If an atheist knows what he claims he knows, our
faith shouldn't bother him.
---
Atheists.. You know, have you ever seen any atheists stage a protest of an
Islamist rite or event? I'd actually pay to watch that.
---
Online story: "It’s an alluring idea: an environmentally friendly electric
train built at no cost to taxpayers that would fly above traffic, shuttling
Braves fans from MARTA to Turner Field." -- Heh heh heh..What timing... and
waste of thought and money.. looks like Turner Field will be empty in the near
future as will any commercial conveyance built to get people there.

According to Jesse Jackson, Congressman Issa is a racist because he's
white, and because he argued with Congressman Cummings who is black. Hmmm, Mr
Jackson, what do you call the white Rutgers' professors who said former
Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice wasn't fit to address graduates at
commencement?
---
Lois Lerner cannot eat her cake and have it, too! She's aggressively
proclaimed her innocence, so what can she say that would incriminate herself?
Therefore, her pleading the 5th is a crime for not answering questions about
others who are involved.

Some so called YouTube "celebrity" is doing an OObamaCRAP commercial. He
says he and all his friends have wanted health insurance but OObamaCRAP finally
makes it easy to get. HUH? What was stopping him from just calling an insurance
company and getting coverage? He could even have done that on a website that
worked.

Recently, in Detroit, a woman was found in a SUV in the garage of her home
that had been foreclosed on. From the registration on the vehicle, she died in
2008 but was just discovered. Two things are quite obvious: 1 - the housing
market in Detroit is horrible. 2 - the foreclosure process is not a very
concerned or sensitive aspect of life.
---
Online headline: "'Secret' Michael Jackson son breaks silence" -- Hmmm, so
Michael probably lied to Billie Jean, too.
---
Online story: "In the quaint New England city of Keene, New Hampshire, a
war is going on ... and you may be surprised what's causing all the controversy:
parking meters. * What a group of young men who call themselves "Robin Hooders"
are doing seems innocent enough. They go up and down the downtown shopping
district and feed the parking meters before they expire. Since starting their
"Robin Hooding," the city's ticket revenues are going down. * In the quaint New

They go up and down the downtown shopping district and feed the parking meters
before they expire. Since starting their "Robin Hooding," the city's ticket
revenues are going down. * Even the local pastor finds himself getting in the
middle of the controversy. "I think you guys are a couple of knuckleheads. Just
because you have a right to be out here doesn't mean it's the right thing to
do," Pastor David Berman told two of the Robin Hooders." -- Wow! A series of
random acts of kindness has government and a pastor spitting fire and
brimstone... hmmm, I thought this was a perfect example of the need to separate
the church and state... obviously this pastor doesn't.

Online story: "If former CIA Director David Petraeus and his ex-deputy
Michael Morell are recalled to testify on Benghazi, they can expect hard
questions about the mortar attack on the CIA annex which killed two former Navy
SEALs." -- After examining the complexities of aiming a mortar, particularly at
night, indications are that the mortar team knew exactly where the SEALs were,
and the 'hits' were not just lucky or random.
---
L-E headline: "Obama: It's time to give America a raise" -- No. time for
Judas 00-Barnum to give America some "HOPE" and "CHANGE" he promised... his
resignation would accomplish that in one swoop of his Executive Order pen.
---
Our Columbus Cottonmouths Hockey team just hired a girl to play on the
team... Hey, that's not fair! Even hockey guys know they can't punch girls
back!
---
Ultra low info voter's L-E "soundoff": "As history continues to examine
past presidents, it becomes more and more apparent the Reagan administration was
a disaster. Almost as bad as the George W. Bush administration, which was
clearly the worst in history." -- You know, if someone voted for Judas 00-Barnum
once, he/she would have to believe this. If he/she voted for him twice, we can
only pray that he/she will never have children.
---
Finally, a L-E "soundoff" the editor misunderstood and printed by mistake:
"It appears the school suspensions are not equally divided between males and
females. That gender inequality should be corrected immediately." -- How about
it Reverend... did you forget that if the suspensions were racial that the
number of black girls would be as escalated as the number of black boys you rail
about?
---
L-E story: "KEY LARGO, Fla. — The crisis in Crimea won't keep President
Barack Obama from forging ahead with a weekend getaway with his wife and
daughters in the Florida Keys." -- Hmmm, maybe it's time we draw a 'red line' at
the Washington, D.C. borders... we know he'll have to stay in Washington because
he doesn't cross 'red lines'.
---
L-E feature: "Online comment of the day": “There was a time when some
people made comments about Peachtree Mall being a bad place; now it appears that
Columbus Park Crossing is not immune with the recent crime events in that area.”
— From Antonio Lawson on a report of a purse snatching at Panera Bread
Add your voice! Story commenting is available on most stories at www.ledger-enquirer.com " -- Good grief! Not only is the submitter lacking in local geography (Panera Bread is located in the Bradley Park shopping area, not Columbus Park Crossing), but the L-E staff is just as ignorant of the local geography. I'm glad I no longer subscribe to the print edition of the L-E... how would the L-E staff know how to get it to my house?

Well, the 57 nominees for MCSD "Teacher of the Year" have been narrowed
down to 10. Doing such was not an envious job, as all were well qualified. Now,
let the MCSD raise the bar on new hirees and rehirees to meet the standards
these exemplify.
