Online headline: "ISIS line up and execute 50 by firing squad" -- Hmmm, and
50 new voter registration applications were filed by New Georgia Project and at
the Chicago Democratic Party headquarters.
---
Did not mention Sgt Tahmooressi being back on American soil yesterday after
reading about it late Friday. Wanted to see whether Obamageddon had swapped some
MS13ers back to Mexico.

I know I've already designated the ugly uniform wearers for this week, and
am sticking to that, but Maryland gets special recognition for the ugliest
helmet I've seen all year. Those must have been bought on sale from www.NASCAR.com
---
New category for ugly...ugliest team wear by a coach..Muschamp of Florida.
Gray sweatshirt you'd expect to find on sale at Dollar General.
---
Speaking of ugly helmets, while not a contender worth mentioning compared
to Maryland's, the Texas A&M helmets looked like they were wearing athletic
supporters to keep them on.
---
It was late last night when the UCLA-Arizona game came on, and I have to
backtrack on an earlier decision. As ugly as the Louisville uniforms were
Thursday night, Adidas out uglied itself with what they sent to UCLA..putrid
comes to mind.
---
That 2-point play to UGA's Chubb early in the 4th quarter.. Why was is
ruled no good? Chubb had possession in the end zone as Gators clawed at it on
the way to the ground. I thought if you had possession at any time in the end
zone that it was a score and the play was over.

Pop test! OK...you're wronged by another person ..a friend...who has
accidently hurt your spouse and child. Now, two options are on the table: WWJD
or WWMD. Do you want Jesus or Mohammed to be in judgment?
---
WWJD......or. WWMD...WWMD is also an acronym for Warehouse of Weapons of
Mass Destruction.
---
Oh.. I made a slight, but understandable error yesterday.. I called the
late Senator Dirksen a Democrat.. he was actually a Republican, but he was from
Illinois and there have been no real Republicans in Illinois politics since
Lincoln. There is also some question to the origin I cited of the "a billion
here, a billion there" quote I attributed to him.. it probably was made by some
General discussing the military budget..sorry.. but it is softly attributed to
Dirksen.
---
Emily's List...a PAC to support women in politics...if you are a Democrat.
Isn't this hypocritical since women's issue transcend party lines?
---
Bill Clinton flying in to Iowa really countermands the Democrats claim
that it's Republicans who have a war on women. The male Democrat incumbent is
calling in one of the world's most visible womanizers to beat up on Republican
candidate, Joni Ernst. I thought Democrats supported women in politics

Online headline/story: "Al Sharpton returns to stir up Ferguson * The Rev.
Al Sharpton Friday kicked off four days of symposiums, workshops and rallies to
ask Ferguson activists keep the focus on attaining justice for Michael Brown and
his family. * "If there is not justice for this family than we have not achieved
the goals of this movement," Sharpton told a gathering" -- What a travesty that
this man can still be referred to as "The Rev."! If Sharpton was a peacemaker,
he would be applying a salve of healing, and, after the grand jury evidence
release, he should be apologizing to Officer Wilson, Ferguson, MO, and America
for confusing "justice" for his own personal avarice.
---
HuffPost headline: "Harry Reid: Joni Ernst May Be Too Extreme Even For GOP"
-- Talk about a real "war on women", Harry Reid has basically said women cannot
have independent thoughts or successes.
---
Online story: "Colorado voters with progressive group MoveOn and abortion
rights group NARAL Pro-Choice America delivered nearly 13,000 signatures from
voters to The Denver Post on Tuesday to demand that the paper rescind its
endorsement of Republican Senate candidate Cory Gardner." -- Hmmm.. if there was
an endorsement the Denver Post should rescind, it was either the one in 2008 or
2012 for Obamageddon.

L-E story: " Thirty years ago, the late Rev. Johnny H. Flakes Jr.
recognized a need for more affordable housing in the community. So he led a
project that resulted in an apartment complex not far from the Fourth Street
Missionary Baptist Church. * Now, the Rev. Johnny Flakes III is leading an
effort to rehabilitate the property and help transform the neighborhood. * He
said the apartment complex — though affiliated with the 114-year-old
congregation — is not run by the church. It’s owned by the CHDO, which is a
501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. * He said board members put the property in
the hands of a property management company nine months ago. * The property
management company, Elite Ventures Leasing and Management, is owned by newly
elected Muscogee County School Board member Kia Chambers; her husband, Travis
Chambers; and Karl Douglass, a Columbus Realtor and political consultant. *
Some of the units are already being advertised on the Elite Ventures website,
under the heading: “Renovated Apartments Available Soon! Accepting
Applications!” * Flakes said the steps the board is taking are in line with
Columbus Mayor Teresa Tomlinson’s campaign to eliminate blight in many Columbus
neighborhoods." -- Good grief! Those are OWNED by 4th Street Baptist Church..
why hasn't there been ongoing maintenance by Flakes' church to keep them nice..
For Mayor Obamalinson to entertain church property as a "blight project" is
basically vote buying.
---
You know, if the 4th Street Baptist Church owned apartments etc are not
up-to-code, Mayor Obamalinson should enforce existing laws/regulations so they
are brought up to living standards.
---
LIV's L-E "soundoff": " How funny that the Perdue campaign thinks they will
scare us by linking Michelle Nunn to Mayor Bloomberg and the gun control issue.
This just gives me another reason to vote for Michelle." -- "another reason"?
Other than her being a Democrat promising "free stuff", what is the other reason
you want to vote for Nunn?
---
After very careful consideration, here are my personal voting
recommendations:
Except for the two Public Service Commission races, and the Commissioner of
Insurance race, I recommend Republican candidates. For the two Public Service
Commission races and the Commissioner of Insurance, I recommend the Libertarian
candidates. In the Amendment/Referendum section, I recommend a "Yes" on the
Amendment to cap the state income rate. On the other three options, I recommend
voting "No". Please feel free to contact me if you have questions about my
recommendations.

From City Council Agenda feature of the L-E: "Veterans Parkway And Double
Churches Road Intersection Improvements — It is requested that council authorize
the execution of a construction contract with C. W. Matthews Contracting Co.
(Marietta) in the amount of $2,296,398.81 for improvements to the intersection
of Veterans Parkway and Double Churches Road." -- Hey.. how about a
"roundabout"! It would be interesting to watch a train manipulate a
"roundabout". The real reason is that a logging truck overturned making a right
turn off Veterans onto Double Churches. That was because the reverse bank of the
intersection caused by the above road grade railroad track path, and that won't
be solved for $2.2 Million. Since there's no way to make the Railroad Company
lower the tracks, Veterans Parkway will have to be raised.. either that or
spend a $100.00 on a sign saying, "No Right Turns for Logging or Semi-Tractor
trucks".

While I do not usually read Leonard "the pits" Pitts past the byline.. his
drivel today is as amusing as confusing:
"(a) study, conducted by the nonpartisan Pew Research Center, informs us
that America’s least-trusted news source is conservative radio talk show host
Rush Limbaugh, rated unreliable by almost 40 percent of all Americans. The also
conservative Fox “News” follows closely at 37 percent. So America’s
least-trusted news sources are also its most popular; Limbaugh hosts the number
one show on radio and Fox is the highest-rated cable news outlet." --
Why is this man given commentary space. His analytical abilities are nil.
If there was a poll of actual listeners of Rush Limbaugh and Fox News, the
approval ratings would be 90% or higher. The "40% & 37%" disapproval numbers
"the pits" spews out are, at best , fabricated. In fact, those 40% & 37%
numbers arewhat percentage the country approves of Obamageddon, and they include
a whole lot of Obamageddon voters.. Good grief.. if you went to a GA-Auburn
game and asked equal amounts of fans what they thought of the other school,
you'd get 100% disapproval ratings for both schools.
---
From the "iot doesn't get any more pathetic than this" department -
Obamageddon was campaigning in Detroit. Good grief.. Detroit is the poster child
of liberalism.. liberal run government, and union run businesses. I just want to
know why Obamageddon would feel the urge.. the need.. to go there and expose
what is the worst run city inn the world and it's dominated by Democratic
leadership. It must be that this is the only city that looks to him as an idol
of being successful compared to the squalor that teems in Detroit.

Mississippi State.. #1 in the country, and leading the SEC West, and the
only undefeated team in the SEC, once again gets covered in the "also played"
section of the Columbus L-E.
