Online story: From the text of Obamageddon's speech: "When I took office, I committed to fixing this broken immigration system. And I began by doing what I could to secure our borders. " -- Yeah, right... "fast and furious", fighting local authority citizenship searches, suing states' governors, and doing zilch when he had a super majority in both Houses which would have passed laws which would have been declared unconstitutional by now.
---
If Obamageddon opens the floodgate on our border, it will be the biggest 'dis' to the black voting bloc ever. The black vote cannot point to any progress promised by multitudes of Democrat politicians as the Democrats have used the black vote to promote its LGBT and "green power" agenda, and now Obamageddon is trying to lessen the power of the black bloc vote by wrapping up the Latino vote. Of course.. if you continually vote for jackasses......

L-E story: "St. Francis Hospital is eliminating 80 jobs effective immediately as it wrestles with a $30 million accounting inaccuracy it discovered last month, President and CEO Robert Granger said on Thursday." -- Hmmm... $30 Million is not an "accounting inaccuracy"...65 people being "let go", plus 15 other people not being hired because of someone being "inaccurate" is not a just situation.

WTVM9 story: "COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - The Columbus Aquatic Center on Macon Road has only been open about 15 months, and now facility management is already getting bad reviews. * A city auditor presented Mayor Teresa Tomlinson with the results of an investigation of the Columbus Aquatic Center and the report did not leave her feeling impressed. She described the findings as "quite unfavorable." -- Good grief...is there anybody surprised at a private company running a publicly owned facility is going to put facility needs ahead of revenue margins?

Online story: "U.S. Rep. John Lewis on Tuesday predicted “massive, non-violent protests” all over the country if there is a “miscarriage of justice” in the shooting death of 18-year-old Michael Brown in Ferguson, Mo." -- How dare a sitting US Congressman excuse vigilantism or public rioting as acceptable if a grand jury finding vindicates the actions of a police officer! The only "miscarriage of justice" brooding is the anticipation of a grand jury that doesn't meet one's desire regardless of the facts.

This is a quote from a 2012 story about Congressman Sanford Bishop giving scholarships from the Congressional Black Caucus to his family and friends: "A Bishop spokesman told POLITICO that there were no nepotism rules in the mid-2000s to bar the CBC scholarships from going to family members. A CBCF spokeswoman said such restrictions were not put in place until 2008. " -- This is a lie.. the Congressional Black Caucus Scholarship Program is basically a foundation funded by taxpayers, and general foundation rules prohibit giving funds to benefit family and friends.
---
Online headline: "Fla. nurse latest to accuse Bill Cosby of forced sex" -- Shades of the Clarence Thomas Supreme Court hearings! You know.. if a black person is a conservative, there is no length the Democratic Party supporting black leadership will not go to discredit a successful black businessperson. Where was, no, is, the black leadership on reigning in the shenanigans of its inner circle?

Jonathan Gruber Stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": "When did the Republicans “give Obama a chance” to do anything? They have blocked everything he has tried to do. You people live in fantasy land." -- Good grief.. Pelosi asked the House to vote of OObamaCRAP without reading it.. guess this lib CAN'T read at all. It's not about whether Republicans "give him a chance".. the voters did, then.. then the voters woke up and elected Republicans to act on their behalf and stop Obamageddon from doing any worse damage.

No one questions the service of Tom Buck, and he's a good choice as an interim Councilor, but why wasn't the seat offered (I'm assuming it wasn't) to former Mayor, Bob Hydrick. Hydrick's grasp of Council politics would be more inline than Buck's Atlanta statehouse experience.
