From "the liberal court/media bias" department - Online headline: "Federal
judge halts Obama's amnesty Executive Order * Set to go into effect Wednesday,
the first of Obama's immigration reforms that would protect millions has seen a
major setback. * Order made by outspoken judge" -- "order made by outspoken
judge"? Oh... those federal judges that continue to step on the states' rights
issue of same-sex marriages while that issue is already in the Supreme Court's
discussion are not considered "outspoken"?

It's not only unbelievable that Obamageddon is having Social Security cards
issued to illegal aliens..it's actually anti-American. Americans and their
companies fund Social Security, not the government. Instead of "Social Security"
cards..just give green cards with numbers that set-up account capabilities so
deduction/contributions can be withheld in their names to be used for expenses
of becoming an American Citizen in the future, and then convert it to a Social
Security account status when citizenship is attained.

Other than spend money (and more likely other people's money), and send the
wrong message to a 1000s of Little League aged Chicago kids.. what is the
purpose of giving 11/12 year olds "Championship" rings.. first, they will be
fraudulent, but how many of those kids would be able to even wear them as adults
or be wanting to explain "wha' happened" to any children they may have when
older?
---
There has to be concern in Dr Lewis' office..just hearing he's backtracking
on actually listing out MCSD SPLOST projects by the costs and priorities is a
big admission that "they" are worried..

Online story: "While discussing contentious voting laws in the United
States, Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN) wondered: Why does anyone need to register to
vote in the first place? * Speaking earlier this month at the U.S. Vote
Foundation’s Voting and Elections Summit in Washington, D.C., the Democratic
lawmaker asserted that there must be a bipartisan effort to “make voting
easier.” -- Hmmm... maybe 20,000 of "us" should plan to "vacation" in MN during
the election period of 2016 and demand we get to vote in Ellison's re-election
bid based on his own desire to "make voting easier". Hey Ellison, "what
difference will it make"?
---
Online story: "Senate Democrats are waging open warfare on the proposal,
which would give the state new powers to take over perennially failing schools.
The chamber’s top Democratic leaders have loudly criticized the plan as an
overreach and said more funding, and not new governance, is needed." -- Good
grief... all Democrats know how to do is whine about more good money is needed
to repair their failures...Is this not exactly the situation that the MCSD is
trying to do with SPLOST 2015?
---
Speaking of Democrats - Online story: "Georgia state House Minority Leader
Stacey Abrams accepts the Emily’s List “rising star” award from former U.S. Rep.
Gabrielle Giffords" -- Remember Stacey Abrams? She's the GA House rep that was
behind using to the Secretary of State's office to hide behind as she
orchestrated and illegal partisan-based voter registration movement last summer.

Online story: "Administrators at Georgia’s public colleges have a hard
time predicting the popularity of academic majors they offer, according to newly
released figures showing a coin toss would be about as accurate. * Of 336
programs approved by the Board of Regents in the past 10 years, just 163, or 49
percent, met or exceeded projected enrollment by their third year, according to
the figures of the University System of Georgia. * Accuracy is important because
staffing, space and other resources are allocated based on the projections" --
Hmmm... less than half of the state projections "met or exceeded projected
enrollment by their third year".. sorta clears up why college costs have soared
over every other inflation indicators, and defines why the "HOPE Scholarship"
program can't keep up with college administrative/faculty costs.

L-E story: " After a 20-minute discussion about their proper role in hiring
a cabinet-level position, Muscogee County School Board members approved David
Lewis’ recommendation for interim chief of operations and facilities. * David
Goldberg, the assistant superintendent for administrative and support services
in the Carroll County School System since 2013, succeeds Myles Caggins, who
retired in November after leading the division for 15 years. * The board voted
6-0 to approve Lewis’ recommendation. Myers abstained, and John Thomas of
District 2 and Athavia “A.J.” Senior of District 3 were absent." -- You know..
following the discoveries of "an accounting error (though I'm not sure how a
missing $30 Million over a few years can be considered "an accounting error)"
was revealed at St Francis.. how can there not be a forensic audit called for
when, in addition to retiring Chief of Operations and Facilities Officer Myles
Caggins, chief financial officer Sharon Adams and chief information officer
Forrest Toelle also left the district around the end of last year? " Bringing in
an outside "interim" is not the best course of action... in fact it probably is
the worst course of action whether there is or is not "an accounting error" that
could be revealed by a forensic audit.

Jonathan Gruber extra stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": " I have relatives in
Florida who are in the one percent income group with holdings in the resort and
real estate markets. They don’t pay “37.8 percent” in federal income tax due to
legal tax shelters and other incentives." -- Good grief.. obviously we know
which member of this family that isn't from the "smart side"...BUT obviously
this "soundoffer" is no CPA or Tax Professional..
---
Jonathan Gruber even-more-stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": "Depriving the
school system of millions of dollars of badly needed capital funds without
proper justification is playing a game with the future of our city using our
children as pawns." -- Good grief...it's not the taxpayers who have to "justify"
their votes.. it's the MCSD that has to "justify" the projects, and that hasn't
been on it's agenda..
---
L-E story: "Egypt carried out airstrikes against Islamic State group
targets in neighboring Libya on Monday and began a push for international
military intervention in the chaotic North African state after extremists
beheaded a group of Egyptian Christians." -- Hmmm..there was a time that America
would already have been there helping our friends.. but... on the other hand..
what countries even know whether America is still their "friend" or not?
---
You know.. the 2009 SPLOST deceitfully dangled $223 MILLION (wrongly
looking for BRAC to boost sales taxes) worth of "projects" on "the list" to
manipulate as many one-issue voters to vote "yes" as possible. After 5 years,
"only" $174 was produced, leaving $48/$49 Million of unkept promises ("bait")
from coming to fruition...the 2015 SPLOST proposal is at least "cut back" to
$192 Million, but reality is that with Ft Benning set to lose about 1,500 local
jobs, that the expected revenues will come in shorter that the 2009 revenue
totals. The MCSD knows this and it's why no list of specific projects has been
published nor any priorities associated with the generalities the MCSD has
aired. In fact.. the only sure thing that the MCSD will pay out if this SPLOST
passes is the $4,000,000.00 to a bank in Columbus to "float the bonds"..

Online story: "A majority of Georgia voters would support paying higher gas
taxes to fund transportation improvements, a new poll released Monday shows. *
The poll, conducted for the Georgia Transportation Alliance, shows strong
support among Georgians for lawmakers to boost funding for transportation,
according to an advance copy obtained by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The
alliance is an arm of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce, which has made increased
transportation funding a priority." -- Wow! and who did they poll? Hey, if I pay
for a poll, you can bet the poll will favor my positions... Hey Mayor
TomLYINGson, are these the same pollsters used to confirm that the GA DOT build
a $244K bathroom and agree with you we need a high speed rail system?
---
Online story: "Clark Atlanta University officials say they're hosting a
discussion on human trafficking featuring former President Jimmy Carter." --
Oh.. can I suggest a destination to "traffic" Cuzzin Jimmy's opinions?

The Top 10 in the NCAA basketball rankings have lost a total of 24 games..
they've won 226 games.. not bad, but it reveals that not many games are being
played between Top 10 teams.. it's no wonder I've lost interest in TV
games...
