Soapbox Moment: Former school board member, Owen Ditchfield should be embarrassed.. I know I am for ever speaking in his defense. You know.. it's not really of a question about the necessity of a forensic audit of the school system expenditures, it's really a question of why returning and past members did not require such audits in the past.. When you're lackadaisical about accounting for the pennies, the dollars disappear fast. When there's no check on accountability scheduled, accountability becomes a secondary thought.
