Online quote source: " “The only thing worse than being blind is having
sight but no vision.” - Helen Keller" -- Is this not the perfect adage to be
mounted in Obamageddon's bathroom so he sees it daily? Come to think of it, it
should be chiseled into the walls of Mayor TomLYINGson's offfice, and the walls
of the MCSD Boardroom and Superintendent's office.

Let's do some math (it doesn't matter whether in's "new" common core" or
"fingers&toes)..federal employees that we know of, and know where they work
and live, owe the IRS OVER $3.1 Billion in back taxes. Now...Obamageddon wants
another $2 Billion than last year for the IRS. Hmmmm, now why doesn't the IRS
just collect that $3.1 Billion, and throw the extra $1.1 BILLION back into the
budget to reduce the rest of our taxes?

Supreme Court Justice Kagan says she doesn't foresee cameras in the SC
Chambers, citing how Congresspersons act in front of the C-Span cameras. Well, I
can see her point..if I were her, I wouldn't want the public to see/hear me
defending liberalism. Can you not see an equivalent scene similar to a replay of
Hank Johnson, D-GA 4 Congressman arguing how Guam would tip over if the military
moved more equipment to the base there?

We're hearing about a measles outbreak fueled by children who's parents
refused to get them vaccinated. Maybe what we need is a vaccination against
liberalism .

Speaking of liberals: Have any of the buyers of electric cars, you know the
ones smug about getting oil out of their lives, even thought about the amount of
oil used in building/maintaining their "green" purchases? What do they think is
used to build tires, composite body parts, even the wiring coating, and
transmission lubricants, much less powering the facilities that produce the
electricity to recharge the batteries?

Ladies.. Gentlemen:
Where are you....why are you all missing-in-action on the current 2015 MCSD SPLOST proposal?
There would be no issue had it not been for legislative action 20 plus years ago, but the GA legislature seems to be trying to wash its hands of the responsibilities it took on at that time.
1 - why aren't all such SPLOST referendums limited to voting to a November General Election date?
2 - Why aren't SPLOST proposals required to be submitted to a legislative review to assure that SPLOST requests are within the limitations of the bill that authorized such?
The MCSD 2015 SPLOST reeks of maintenance projects which were pretty much forbidden in the GA laws/regulations.
Thank you..

I will let you know if any respond.

OK, I'll bite...have you noticed that a lot of "charitable" organization are pounding the TV airways with requests for ongoing $19.00 a month automatic donations. Is there some reason that $19.00 is used?
---
Personal warning: I recently submitted pictures/info on a majolica/cast iron table that I inherited. I even mentioned I had a picture documented in 1930 showing it inside my grandparents newly finished home in Columbus. The "experts" at www.valuemystuff.com estimated it was made in the 1960/70 or possibly more modern era. To say the least, I will not submit other items to www.valuemystuff.com, and suggest you not do so, also.

L-E "headlie": "Obama’s record budget: Tax rich, help middle class" -- Good
grief.. you could confiscate the top 10 American billionaires' wealth and get
$445,300,000,000.00 and redistribute it to the 300 or so million citizens in
America, and each person would get $1484.00 each. You know, the first people to
complain would be the 47,000,000 receiving food stamps because they would be
getting a "cut in pay".
---
Jonathan Gruber stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": "There have been some
embarrassing things happen in Columbus, but Myers and Thomas top them all. Is
there any other city in the country that has school board members who are
anti-education?" -- Good grief.. does not the Helen Keller quote, " “The only
thing worse than being blind is having sight but no vision.”, fit this
"soundoff" submitter to a T?
---
L-E headline: "OBAMA PONDERS LETHAL AID FOR EMBATTLED UKRAINE" --
"lethal"...what a good choice of a word to describe "help" as initiated by
Obamageddon.. just look at our economy, healthcare, and racial tensions, world
terrorism, and Gitmo releasees, and you have the definition of "lethal".
---
In a citizen's letter-to-the editor in the Columbus L-E: Correction to Mrs
Olson's comment..the 2009 SPLOST collected only $174 Million, which is a
shortfall of $49 Million..yes $49 Million, and the current SPLOST request will
not bring in the $192 Million as promoted. Truth is, the MCSD seemingly doesn't
have a text-based list of projects that it can, well, is willing to share with
the taxpayers.
---
L-E story: "The NFL is trying to determine if the Atlanta Falcons pumped
fake crowd noise into the Georgia Dome for home games the last two years." --
Good grief..the antithesis of "deflategate"? INFLATED Falcon owner
ego?
