Online headline: "Obama delivers message to Silicon Valley * The president
signed an executive order on Friday to encourage more sharing of information
between companies about hacker attacks. * 'Government cannot do this alone'" --
"government cannot do this alone"? The nerve of this whatever! Of course not...
in fact, even thinking "it" can is the first mistake HEBDObama made.. just like
"feeling" welfare and healthcare, even public education are things that
"government can do alone". Our government does not even exist if not for our
people and our Constitution.

Hey, the MCSD should take heed at the above... "It" feels "it" can educate our children alone".

How can Dr Lewis claim state law prohibits him from debating Frank Myers on
the SPLOST, but then use the SPLOST to campaign for teachers'
votes?

Online story: "Oregon Gov. John Kitzhaber resigned Friday, giving in to mounting pressure to abandon his office amid suspicions that his fiancee used her relationship with him to land contracts for her green-energy consulting business." -- As Fred Sanford might say, "Elizabeth.. it's the "BIG ONE". I'm coming to see you". Whoa... this may be the first documented resignation of a Democratic politician on a morals issue... to boot, it was partly about a "green energy" issue so he could have held on that it was about "good intentions".. Will wonders never cease.. guess this is a positive for America.. that the mainstream media didn't poo-poo this story. Guess all the lies and disappointments of Obamageddon have burst the bubble that only Republicans have to be accountable.

Online story: "The resignation of Oregon Gov. John Kitzhaber instantly
promoted the liberal Democrat who is next in line to succeed him: the
54-year-old secretary of state who has long been thought to have her eye on
Oregon’s top elected position. * Kate Brown, who is widely considered to be to
the left of the departing Democratic governor, will also become the first openly
bisexual governor in the nation." -- "openly bi-sexual"? Wow... this may be the
first documented case of a honest politician.. she freely admits she'll do it
to/with everybody!

Online headline/story: ":Jeb Bush exposed 13,000 social security numbers. Here's where they were hiding * Earlier this week, former Florida governor Jeb Bush released online a cache of emails sent and received by his personal email address during his time in office. His attempt at transparency turned sour after it was realized that some emails contained personally identifiable information of Floridians, including social security numbers, names, and dates of birth. * Initially suspecting it might have been a bug in the code—they had just released a new version of their software—they eventually determined that the information was contained in so-called hidden Excel columns, obscured from view." -- Aha! This musta been one of those "hacks" HEBDObama was talking about... some "Easter Egg" Microsoft i.e. Bill Gates hid under a "Bush".

Major League Baseball is considering to shrink the "strike zone" on batters in hopes to put more offense into the game.. hmmm... what will be "new"? As most fans and managers see it, all the umps (at least the ones who can see) pretty much individually determine their own strike zones as it is, so how can a "strike zone be made uniform for batters/pitchers anyway?
---
Note: 'If MLB thinks shrinking the strike zone will put fans back into the bleachers... good luck with that.. if MLB wants more fans to come out, than lower the price of tickets and concessions..
---
You know.. the strike zone size is immaterial.... the batter only gets to hit one pitch, so the batter knowing what works for him is the most important aspect.. in brief.. there are pitchers' pitches, and there are batters' pitches.

Online story: "A Florida attorney has gained attention recently for distributing controversial fliers online that drivers can show police during traffic stops and checkpoints in order to avoid arrest for driving under the influence. * "It's a method for innocent people to protect themselves from a bad DUI arrest," attorney Warren Redlich, * He has a sign that reads "I remain Silent- No Searches - I Want My Lawyer" that he shows through his window" -- Well, I think we have a new reason to blame 99% of lawyers fro ruining the reputations of the 1%..if one driver who cannot pass a DUI field test leaves such a check point uninhibited and kills another person......

HuffPOOPOO story: "The suspected killer of three Muslim family members in
Chapel Hill, North Carolina, was a known bully in his community, neighbors say.
* In a press conference on Wednesday, Hicks' wife Karen said that her husband
was an angry man, but not prejudiced. *"This incident had nothing to do with
religion or victims’ faith, but instead had to do with the longstanding parking
disputes that my husband had with the neighbors," she said. * "He often
champions on his Facebook page for the rights of many individuals. Same sex
marriages, abortion, race, he just believes that everyone is equal. Doesn’t
matter what you look like or who you are or what you believe." -- Wow...the
ultimate liberal dilemma.. a death sentence trial for one of them...

HuffPOOPOO "headlie": "House Begins Passing Series of Deficit-Hiking Tax
Cuts" -- Good grief...only in LA-LA land can a tax cut be considered "deficit
hiking". The rest of us know that tax HIKES and excessive, uncontrolled spending
raise the deficit/debt. Well, everybody but 7 of our MCSD board, Columbus
Council plus the Superintendent of Schools and Mayor TomLYINGson.

Online headline: "DOUBLE TROUBLE: Blistering winds, another blizzard set to

Another Hollywood celebrity (not named Lindsay Lohan) hit a pedestrian
yesterday. Even though it was Friday the 13th.. it probably wasn't the cause.
That makes three recent Hollywood celebrities (not named Lindsay Lohan) that
have hit things lately.. Mel Gibson, Bruce Jenner, and now Gary Busey. Look for
a new Steven Spielberg video game next week, "Hollywood Frogger".
---
You know..since Council is so greedy that it feels it needs to strangle
parkers in the downtown area by issuing $30.00 overtime parking tickets after 2
hours in most areas, why hasn't Council revised the street parking time on Front
Ave? I dare say, no one has been issued a parking ticket from Front Avenue this
Century...the signs are for 8 hour parking between 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM. Yeah,
parkers there need not worry about even getting their tires marked.

L-E headline: "SPECIAL PURPOSE LOCAL OPTION SALES TAX * Lewis seeks
prioritizing of projects before vote * Superintendent wants board to rank
capital projects" -- Good grief... prioritizing comes after LISTING the projects
and researching what the cost will be...Dr Lewis has just admitted that his
"wish LUST" was just a "slush fund" with no restrictions, and SPLOST revenues
cannot be spent on operations or maintenance.
---
L-E "headlies": "Columbus to add 1,500 jobs, possible cuts at Fort Benning
the economic wild card * UGA’s Selig Center sees area home prices growing 3%" --
Good grief... this is like making a silk purse out of a pigs ear of reality!
Single family homes are down 12% from 6 years ago, the 1500 jobs stated doesn't
factor in losing 1000 jobs at Ft Benning...in addition "the Selig Center was
“too bullish” in its outlook for the Columbus housing market in 2014. That
impacted its forecast of 1,400 jobs being created locally last year, with the
total coming up short by about 500 jobs".... to think taxpayers actually pay the
salaries of the "experts" at the nUGA Selig Center is absurd...
---
Outstanding L-E "soundoff": " There is a vaccine for just about everything
except stupid." -- Now that this has been brought to the attention of the
medical researchers, maybe a preventative cure for Democrats/Liberals can be
discovered!
---
L-E's " Thought for Today": “To find a man’s true character, play golf with
him.” — P.G. Wodehouse (born1881, died this date in 1975)." -- Hmmm... "true
character".. or in HEBDObama's case, lack of it...of "course, you will also find
the real "mothers" of the world on the first tee on Mother's day.
