Online headline: " Who's going to replace Jon Stewart?" --m Hmmm... I have a better headline/question... "Why replace Jon Stewart?"
---
HEBDObama's speech about ISIS was interesting... especially when he said, "In the fight against ISIL, we cannot rely on an Assad regime that terrorizes its people"... It sorta resembles a travesty... an act of terror his own administration has perpetrated on America.. The Republican response could change two words, and this country would rejoice, "In the fight against IRS, we cannot rely on an Obama regime that terrorizes its people".
---
Good grief...HEBDObama's request to the Republican Congress to evoke "War Powers" was typical of the politics of liberalism..it has a 3-year "poison pill" that will throttle the next president , regardless of party
---
Verbal Gymnastics... February 11, 2015... two words and a date not to forget....... A Fox News anchor described White House Press Agent Josh Earnest's efforts to cover Obamageddon's lies in a most creative use of words. Webster should add this...Roget's should add this, too...Josh Earnest used these two words to describe the most flexible use of facts that can be uttered by an elected politician and his minions.
---
Good grief... Michelle Obama has certified that she has zero taste. There's a video story showing how she redesigned the White House "Family Dining Room". In the process.. gone are the portraits of founding fathers, gone are stately mirrors.. instead, art resembling a painter's drop cloth and a stylized Target logo have replaced them. I do see some redeeming aspect of the new art.. one, the stylized Target logo may give her a better aim at her husband, and if she connects, no one will notice if blood spatters the painter's drop cloth.
---
HuffPOOPOO "headlie": "House Passes Keystone Bill, Sending It To Obama For Veto" -- Good grief... no bill is sent to the president for a veto.. bills are sent for the president's signature. Vetoing is just a president's choice.
---
Online headline:"Charlie Sheen calls NBC execs 'cowards' over Brian Williams decision in scathing public letter" -- Hmmm.. I'd rather see the scathing letters NBC sent to Ch(_*_)lie Sheen's agent!
---
Online headline: "ISIS Emailed Kayla Mueller’s Family Pictures Of Her Corpse" -- Good grief.. now we can understand why HEBDObama won't condemn ISIS as Islamic Terrorists... ISIS resembles him to a tee... neither HEBDObama nor ISIS has any shame at what they do.
---
Random thought: Judge Andrew P. Napolitano, Senior Judicial Analyst for Fox News Channel ...look close next time you see him..I think he looks like Eddie Munster all grown up.
---
On the other hand, Judge Jeanine nailed it when she asked "how can HEBDObama not see that ISIS is an Islamist terror group, but had no problem determining that the Crusaders were Christians".
---
Hearing Nancy Pelosi asking for bipartisanship solutions sounds like a script on Saturday Night Live Weekend Report. Can't you see her asking for bipartisanship discussions/input on OObamaCRAP?
---
Looks like Chicago Little League Jackie Robinson West sent out a Community Organizer and ACORN voter registraters to sign up players. Seems LL Baseball has stripped the 2014 US Championship title from the Chicago players for recruiting players from other districts in the area. No wonder Obamageddon & the DOJ don't want ID cards circulating out there.
---
No wonder the Whittlesey Road widening project is running so far behind! I rode down it Wednesday about 2:45 PM, and there was absolutely nothing going on.. not a piece of equipment in motion (well you could see "rust" creeping), and not a person in sight. Yeah, I can understand how a GA DOT project can be delayed from it's original completion date when no one is working, but I can't understand how costs can overrun by $1,000,000.00 since no one should be getting paid for not working.
---
Wait a minute.. isn't our area DOT rep moon lighting for the MCSD SPLOST? Maybe there's a correlation... and an obvious caveat.
---
Remember Hillewinsky's false claim of being fired at by snipers? You know, that probably angered the terrorist sniper community so they went back to the ranges and sharpened up their skills to shoot American soldiers.
---
Online story: "Democrats on the Federal Election Commission responsible for enforcing campaign finance law are being accused of taking a partisan turn, by voting to give liberal-leaning groups and campaigns a pass for alleged violations -- though the agency was tough on conservatives when they were under the microscope." -- Some things never change.. remember the late Che Spurlin, bless her heart... she was the Superintendent before our blessed Nancy Boren. In 1990, and I'm sure this wasn't an isolated incident, during qualifying time for local political primaries, she vacated her office (where all the private election records are kept) for the week and allowed her Democratic Party buddies to use it for their registration location. I take great pride I had a hand in her resignation from that post.
---
Online story: "The Justice Department announced a settlement Tuesday with a Tennessee county school district that the feds say engaged in a decades-long system of segregation against African-American students." -- Good grief...now giving the DOJ and Al Sharlatan what they want gets you sued.
---
I think I have figured out why liberals blame the nonexistent Global Climate Change on man instead of it being the work of God. ...they don't believe in God... well, until it affects an insurance claim for hail damage or snow collapsing their roofs.
---
Online story: "One of the most liberal states in the country also is one of the most passionate about defending the right to bear arms, a fact that is coming to the fore following proposed legislation to expand background checks and add other gun regulations." -- Wait a minute.. I am not going to give any credence to this until Vermont voters oust Socialists Bernie Sanders and Patrick Leahy from the US Senate!
---
L-E story: "After years of discussion and at least one angry exchange between Columbus Councilors, the city appears to be poised to move forward with the first step toward the revitalization of the blighted Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard corridor * Those two approaches have been championed in the past by Councilor Bruce Huff, who favors four lanes, and Councilor Pops Barnes, who favors three * Barnes said he wants to see the project move forward as soon as possible because “deplorable” condition of the road does not reflect well on the memory of its namesake." -- Granted, Martin Luther King Blvd is in (as Pop Barnes describes) "deplorable" condition, but so are many other arteries through the city, and the names have nothing to do with it.. just neglect of Council.. Oh, BTW.. I think we need to support Councilman Huff here.. throwing a 3-lane access into the Buena Vista Rd, Brown Ave and 10th Street intersections does not need to be crippled.
---
Jonathan Gruber EXTRA-EXTRA-STUPID LIV's L-E "soundoff": "Closing Guantanamo would save taxpayers over $2 billion a year. Naturally the GOP is against it." -- Good grief.. even HEBDObama and Josh Earnest wouldn't even TRY to sell this "fact" that's been pulled out of the air...
---
L-E editorial commentary: "A major-party lawmaker wants candidates of minor parties, or no party, to have easier access to a spot on Georgia ballots. And in terms of numbers, at least, the reasons make sense. * State Rep. John Pezold, R-Columbus, is principal sponsor of House Bill 58, which would update a more than 60-year-old legal standard for getting one's name before the voters." -- Pezold's attempt to change election procedures should be supported.. even taken a step forward.. why do independents need to get signatures on a ballot.. just let people run who think they have something to offer. Columbus did this following the 1990 elections, and it has fared us well at getting more choices on the ballots. Now, if we can only get the local elections on the General Election date rather than the political parties' Primary Election date.
