HuffPOOPOO headline: "Beijing Tightens Security As Embassies Warn Of Terror Threats Against Westerners" -- Well, one of 294 American Embassies may be safe,, the rest are depending on NERO-bamageddon and Kerry to acknowledge and be prepared for radical Islam.

HuffPOOPOO headline: "Beauty Queens and Geopolitics: Debating American Bases in the Philippines" -- Beauty Pageant final questions? So that's where liberals get their security information....

---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "Troublesome Leak Grounds NASA's Next Mission To Mars" -- Hmmm.. you know.. it would be nice if COMMON SENSE caused it!

HuffPOOPOO headline: "Susan Sarandon Answered Your Questions About The Refugee Crisis. Here Are Her Best Replies."-- ...............................................................nope............. not that one either........

Online story: "The folks over at Cornell University are worried about “inclusive seasonal displays.” That’s academic code for Christmas decorations.

Cornell warned students that some “winter holiday displays” are not consistent with the university’s “commitment to diversity and inclusiveness.”  *  Among the items on their naughty list are Nativity scenes, angels, crosses and mistletoe." -- "commitment to diversity and inclusiveness"? I guess that includes everyone but Christians?

A new poll says the majority of Americans are opposed to allowing Syrian refugees in...why is mainstream media surprised at this? Americans want to feel our government is trying to keep us safe, but NERO-bamageddon doesn't act like he wants any part of this, and mainstream media doesn't challenge him. It's also why crowds are drawn to Trump.

Online story: "Welcome to New York, where restaurant owners will no longer be allowed to require male diners to wear ties and gyms can’t tell men to get out of the women’s locker room or bathroom.  * They’re even trying to control business owners and employees’ free speech. Violators that call a woman “Ma’am” when she prefers “Sir,” could face up to $250,000 in fines per violation." -- "ma'am"? "sir"? In what part of New York City has this ever occurred? My memories of being "addressed" in NYC are "next", "move it, pal", and "you ain't from around here, are you".  And that was just from the people with their hands out for a tip or or holding a cup as they walked along the sidewalk.

Online story: "Senior Obama administration officials are expressing concern that congressional attempts to tighten laws preventing terrorists from entering the United States could violate the Iran nuclear agreement and prompt Tehran to walk away from the agreement."  -- Good grief.. Questions:.. Why does the king of liars even concerned? Iran isn't going to comply with its promises, and surely Iran doesn't think NERO-bamageddon will all of a suddenly start keeping his?

Soapbox Moment -- and from the "wanna bet this doesn't see the light of day in the L-E op-ed section?" department:
Yesterday.. the Columbus L-E did "mention" the additional delay for completion of the Whittlesey Road widening.. but that's all it did.. Where is the indignation the L-E should be showing as "watchdog" for the citizens of Columbus! It's a less than 3/4ths of a mile stretch.. what was bid out as 2 and a half year project is now going to take 2+ years more.. that seems ridiculous.. Is the Columbus L-E tap dancing around this because of the Columbus connections of the GA DOT and contractor? Why does anyone still advertise in the L-E?  Surely the L-E is not reaching the customers that advertisers want to reach, because.. if the L-E was concerned about its readers, the L-E would not be covering up (or "spinning") the failures of local government entities like the Mayor, or School District/Board, or the state connected road projects.. and more Columbus citizens would want to read the L-E to get the real story behind so many failures.

Totally stupid...oblivious to reality... LIV's L-E "soundoff": "The local initiative to reduce jail overcrowding is like a breath of fresh air. Too many innocent people are locked away. Provide treatment instead of a cold jail cell." -- "too many innocent people are locked away"? Hey, writer, name me one.. that's not related to you in some capacity.. oh, and get me 1 non-related person who will vouch for your objectiveness and truthfulness..

L-E story: " IOWA CITY, Iowa — A prominent lottery official who has run the Powerball game since its inception was quietly removed from his 28-year post leading the Multi-State Lottery Association after a jackpot-fixing scandal inside his organization had spread, according to a document obtained by The Associated Press.  * Charles Strutt, executive director of the association since its 1987 founding, was stripped of his duties in October by the group’s board, which includes directors of lotteries in 37 states and U.S. territories." -- Like winning the lottery.. one must think about what were the odds of cheating going on at top levels of the "the Lottery".. hmmm.. probably more eminent than somebody legitimately winning it... and the thing is.. one person could not have been able to do this without help.. The lottery itself needs all it's employees and board members to be fully audited back to day one.

L-E story: " The mystery deepened weeks later, when the public learned that casino mogul Sheldon Adelson’s family had purchased the paper in a secretive deal. And the questions only intensified, leading the Review-Journal to publish a front-page story about suspicions that the executives who were in talks with the Adelson family had attempted to use the paper to strike out at a judge handling a lawsuit against the wealthy political donor known as a Republican kingmaker. * On Tuesday, the Review-Journal editor who decided not to run anything on the three judges told the staff he was stepping down after accepting a voluntary buyout.
   *  Mike Hengel stunned the newsroom with his departure, which was announced Wednesday on the front page in an article that said an unspecified number of other employees had also accepted buyouts.  * “I think my resignation probably comes as a relief to the new owners,” Hen-gel said in an audio recording obtained by The Associated Press." -- The editor "thinks" his "resignation probably comes as a relief to the new owners"?  Good grief..since when does a new owner not have the right to summarily dismiss an editor.. for that matter, anyone working for him?

L-E's "Quotable": “Everything I like is either illegal, immoral or fattening." -  Alexander Woollcott American critic (1887-1942)" -- Hmmm.. Woolcott would have loved the modern liberals and their school lunch progarms.

Have you seen all the disturbances "Black Lives Matter" has wreaked on the Minneapolis area? And for what.. to prove that "no other Lives Matter"? Wow,, whatta way to win friends and influence goodwill.... NOT!
