Oline story: "The United States and Cuba have struck a deal to restore regular airline flights  *  The State Department said Thursday that the deal allowed the establishment of scheduled air service and the continuation of the charter flights that are currently the only way of flying directly between the U.S. and Cuba." -- "United States and Cuba have struck a deal"?  BS! It's another Kerry deal.. yeah, like the one he stuck Iran with...let's hope he didn't include nuclear weapons,....

Online story: "A massive bill that extends billions of dollars in tax assistance to businesses and expands the budget deficit won U.S. House of Representatives approval on Thursday in the closest thing to a grand bipartisan tax bargain in years. * Lawmakers voted 318-109 for the $622 billion measure, which has been linked procedurally to year-end federal spending legislation needed to avoid a government shutdown.  *  The measure now goes to the Senate, where it will likely be voted on together with a $1.1 trillion spending bill that must be approved to avert a repeat of a government shutdown in 2013 that damaged the U.S. economy.
-- "to avert a repeat of a government shutdown in 2013 that damaged the U.S. economy"? -- Whoa! Cutting government spending did not.. will not.. damage the US economy.. au contraire.. cutting government spending or non-military needs strengthens the dollar which helps the middle-class families. Not cutting waste just keeps waste liberals in office.

Online story: " The U.N. Security Council warned on Thursday that some countries are failing to implement long-standing sanctions against Islamic State, as an unprecedented meeting of finance ministers put the global focus on cutting off the militant group's funds." -- "some countries are failing to implement long-standing sanctions against Islamic State"? Good grief.. too many countries are failing to control their jihadist friends and neighbors..

Did you see the video of a Nebraska Sheriff's deputy who jumped onto a moving, out-of-control semi and got it to a stop? Once again,, the law enforcement brotherhood show "all lives matter", and they are putting their lives on the line to prove it.

---
OK. "Black Lives Matter". do you think gangs, drug dealers, looters and rioters would cease if police departments were closed? That's a noce thought, but it ain't gonna happen...

Online "headLIE"/story : You should buy a home in London right now  *A report released on Thursday found that the price of an average home in this bustling metropolis is set to almost double within the next decade. * On average, a house in the city costs more than $790,000. By 2025, that number will go up to about $1.4 million." -- Good grief..  talk about creating a "ponzi" scheme...fueled by runaway inflation plus a property tax windfall for the govern which will result in bankruptcy for the later buyers swept up in another easy dollar plan. Remember the collapse of condos in Florida as "investors" were putting down a  small down payment on multiple units hoping to "flip them" to get the "early bird" low-ball prices on vacation condos while hoping to "flip them" when completed? How'd that work out...

Has anyone come up with a figure of how many gun related crimes have caused non-fatal injuries In Columbus? We oft see/hear about the plethora of shooting deaths on the streets of Chicago (425 so far this year) but there have been another 2,031 people shot/wounded/saved as well.

---
Another fun detail about Chicago: So far this year there have only been 7 days in which a person hasn't been a shooting or homicide in Chicago... the last pf which was February 28th.. that means there have been 283 straight days since when at least somebody was shot and/or killed . On an average, almost 7 people in Chicago have been shot every day this year. Hey, "Black Lives Matter" ..it matters you're not doing something about Chicago!

---
Online story: "The Communication Workers of America (CWA) union endorsed U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders in the Democratic presidential race on Thursday, a move that could bolster his campaign in early-voting states such as Iowa and New Hampshire." -- Good grief.. who's fooling who? Talk about political subterfuge.. the CWA is only polishing up it's "bargaining chip" to get G.I. JILLary's attention.. we know the CWA will support whichever Democrat is on the ballot so this is purely to remind Jillary that the CWA wants its back scratched..

From the "liberals' dilemma" department - HuffPOOPOO headline: " Hawaii Cop Beat A Man Harassing An Endangered Seal " -- There's an 11 minute video of a man harassing a seal on a beach in Hawaii.. a couple's call to the police is noted as well as a police officer eventually striking the man with his baton for resisting arrest. Hey, harassing a Hawaiian "Monk Seal" can be a $25,000.00 fine, so it is a big deal in Hawaii.. the dilemma comes at the end by the woman crying because the man got baton-whipped ..she was the one who called the police!

---
HuffPOOPOO story: "An unknown number of children in Flint, Michigan, were exposed to dangerous amounts of lead in their drinking water because of a cheapskate decision to switch the city's water source in 2014.  *  "Because [lead is] a neurotoxin, it affects your brain, it affects your development, it drops your IQ," Hanna-Attisha said. "It also causes problems with behavior. Increases the incidence or likelihood of violent offenses, aggressive behavior." *  In October, Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder (R) -- who had appointed the emergency managers that oversaw the switch -- signed legislation switching Flint back to Detroit's system. But it could take half a year for the lead levels to decline, and Morris said the water coming out of his taps is still nasty. Flint mayor Karen Weaver declared a state of emergency on Tuesday." -- Hmmm.. Flint is being saved by a Republican... after the Flint Mayor, Karen Weaver, led the change.. Oh,, about Karen Weaver.. she's has a doctorate in clinical psychology from Michigan State.. of course, she's a Democrat, and in a black majority community, and a past NAACP Award winner, and awards from National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI) for helping to bring mental health screening for teens to the Flint/Genesee county area.
You'd think she might have checked out the lead levels of the water she brought in to save money..

Online story: "Four prominent Confederate monuments in New Orleans were slated for removal Thursday, ending a months-long process that began in the aftermath of the killing of nine African Methodist Church members in Charleston, S.C., by a white supremacist last June. * Mayor Mitch Landrieu, a Democrat, approved the removal by signing legislation only hours after the city council voted 6-1 in favor of the move. In order for New Orleans to move forward, "we must reckon with our past," Landrieu told the council ahead of the vote. * The new law takes aim at statuary memorializing three prominent Confederate figures: Confederate President Jefferson Davis, General Robert E. Lee, and General P.G.T. Beauregard, a Louisiana native. * the fourth monument honors the former Crescent City White League, a chapter of a white supremacist paramilitary organization active in the 1870's." -- Wait a minute how can the "monument" of the "Crescent City White League", a supremacist paramilitary organization ( of the Democratic Party) active in the 1870's be grouped in with Civil War generals? The war was over, and none of these generals is associated with the "supremacist paramilitary organization ( of the Democratic Party)"...talk about building a case by inserting tainted "evidence".. You know, if New Orleans wants to rewrite history, it should start with erasing all mention of the chaos of Ray Nagin's "legacy" of inaction and graft before and during Hurricane Katrina..

Special note: "The "Battle of Liberty Place" was the name given to the insurrection by its white Democratic supporters of the Crescent City White League, as part of their story of the struggle to overturn Republicans and the Reconstruction government. * In 1891, the city erected a monument to commemorate and praise the insurrection of the Crescent City White League from the Democratic Party point of view, which at the time was in firm political control of the city and state and was in the process of disenfranchising most blacks."... talk about rewritten history that needs to be a course study during "Black History Month" and at all Democratic Party voter registration drives!

Online headline: "Obama Wants $1 Billion For Post Presidency Legacy" -- What's Obamageddon want to do with that Billion dollars" Use it to bury he real legacy?

---
Online headline/story: "Investigation into Mississippi woman's burning death leads to arrests of 17 suspected gang members *  FBI officials announced the arrests Tuesday of suspected members of the Black Gangster Disciples, Vice Lords, and Sipp Mob street gangs, according to The Clarion-Ledger newspaper * On the night of Dec. 6, 2014, Chambers was doused with gasoline and set on fire in her car on a road in Courtland. She was found on the road with burns over most of her body and later died at a hospital in Memphis." --
Refresh my memory.. I don't recall any one referring to this as a "hate" crime.. I don't remember any DOJ official intrusion, I don't remember Obamageddon inviting her family to the White House, and I don't remember any apology coming from "Black Lives Matter"...

L-E editorial "headlie": "Claflin School project can now begin in earnest" -- Why is the Columbus L-E so insistent on promoting this lie? There is a historic marker on 1st Avenue between 12th and 13th Sts showing the location of the 1st school created for black children.

---
L-E story: "Nevadans could face a tax hike under a proposed deal with carmaker Faraday Future if a worst case scenario took place. * Steve Hill of the Governor's Office of Economic Development says there's a small risk in the plan to finance infrastructure improvements at the Apex Industrial Park, where Faraday wants to build. * The state wants to issue bonds to pay for about $80 million in water and railroad infrastructure. Money to pay back the bonds would come from the additional tax revenue Faraday and nearby businesses are expected to generate. * Hill predicts the new revenue will more than cover bond payments. But in the unlikely scenario that no new revenue came in and the state general fund couldn't cover debt payments, Nevada would be required to raise taxes to pay." -- Good grief.. what government projects have you ever known to be profitable/revenue neutral at a minimum?  AMTRAK? Our Natatorium? Golden Park and the Softball facilities at South Commons? This is a warning about the TAD districts Mayor TomLYINGson finally got..

---
Online headline/story: "‘I got deported from Mexico!’ Country expels hundreds of U.S. citizens every year * Not only can U.S. citizens get deported from Mexico, they do. * Deported Americans accounted for more than 2,000 cases in 2015, an average of five cases per day or more." -- Hmmm.. and where is Obamageddon and the DOJ helping out here, and why did Mexico keep Sgt Tahmooressi locked up for 7 months?

---
Online story: "The Obama administration cannot be sure of the whereabouts of thousands of foreigners in the U.S. who had their visas revoked over terror concerns and other reasons, a State Department official acknowledged Thursday." -- Hmmm--- and this is the same "organization" that allowed the Boston Bomber Brothers to leave and fly back at will, wants 100,000 Syrians let in on their word they aren't terrorists, and supports "snactuary cities"..

---
L-E story: " The judge in Vashon Walker’s murder trial declared a mistrial Thursday after jurors heard the defendant in a recorded interview tell police he’s a convicted felon." -- "after jurors heard the defendant in a recorded interview tell police he’s a convicted felon"? Good grief.. then why are our jails so full? Any defense lawyer worth a damn would make sure he mentioned that his client was a previously convicted felon in the jury picking process and no one would ever finish a trial!

---
L-E story: " about 50 children and 70 officers took park in the annual event sponsored by the Fraternal Order of Police. The organization raised more than $5,000 to make Christmas brighter for low-income children in the Chattahoochee Valley." -- "to make Christmas brighter "? Good grief.. while I applaud the law enforcement community for its Heart, wouldn't all children's Christmas' "be brighter" if communities  themselves made it safer for children and families to grow up in..

---
Jonathan Gruber incredibly stupid LIV's L-E "soundoff": "If I were a Republican I would be so embarrassed. Wait, I am embarrassed — for Republicans who aren’t smart enough to be embarrassed for themselves." -- Good grief.. This self proclaimed Democrat couldn't be embarrassed at being a Republican if he/she is not already embarrassed at being a Democrat..

---

L-E headline: "(Scretary of Defense, Ash) Carter admits use of personal email for official business" -- OK.. what is Obamageddon going to do about this, and how is G.I. JILLary going to explain why her circumstances were different?
