Please take a moment of silence in sympathy with Jimmy Carter and family. Just weeks after his announcement of being "cancer free", his grandson Jeremy Carter died at the age of 28. Reasons are unknown at this time, but even knowing the reasons doesn't ease the pain. I have oft commented candidly about Cuzzin Jimmy in the past, but am in full sympathy with him today. God is good, and Jimmy and I KNOW this.

New Orleans is trying to remove historic monuments from sight.. One, the Crescent City White League, I understand.. that was a post Civil War Democratic Party organization that wanted to return New Orleans to segregation, and rid NOLA of Republican politicians.

Internet quick search:

People Ask: What was the purpose of the Crescent City White League? Answer: The White League was an American white paramilitary group started in 1874 to turn Republicans out of office and intimidate freedmen from voting and political organizing.

G.I.JILLary says Trump is telling biggest recruitment incentive for ISIS...Wrong! If ISIS feared America, as it should, Trump's attraction to American voters would have ebbed. No, ISIS's boldness is attributable to the image of weakness projected by President Obamageddon and ex-Secretary of State JILLary.

---
Online story: "In Saturday night's 3rd Democratic debate, Hillary Clinton sought to emphasize her line that Donald Trump has become "ISIS's best recruiter" by suggesting that the extremist group was using Trump in their recruiting videos, a claim which has now been widely discredited by fact-checkers and ISIS experts, and which prompted Trump to call Clinton a liar on the Sunday morning talk-show circuit." -- Trump called Clinton a liar? Tell us something every Democrat and mainscream media wonk doesn't know ... and will still vote for her.

---
From the" HuffPOOPOO version" department - HufPOOPOO Headline/story: "Hillary Clinton's Claim That Donald Trump Is In ISIS Recruiting Videos Isn't True. Not Yet, At Least. * Experts say that it's likely he'll appear in future ISIS recruitment materials. *  Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton stretched the truth a bit during Saturday's primary debate, when she claimed that the self-described Islamic State, or ISIS, has used real estate mogul Donald Trump in its recruitment effort" -- "isn't true. Not Yet"?  "stretched the truth"? Good grief... Now that marijuana is pretty much available, I wish Congress would ban Kool-Aid! I'd rather see Democrats go to the ballots high on marijuana than still hung over from Kool-Aid binge drinking. ...
PS - it would probably help mainscream media bias as well.

HuffPOOPOO "headLIE": "The World's First Website Went Online 25 Years Ago * The World Wide Web was invented by British scientist Tim Berners-Lee." -- It has to be a "headLIE"... Algore said he invented the Internet.. I guess when he was in collage and he and Tipper were the inspiration for Erich Segal's book/movie "Love Story". Heh heh heh .. actually this is a "headLIE".. Though Berners-Lee "announced " his Tim Berners-Lee's World Wide Web, the site went online at CERN on December 20, 1990., it isn't the date this  website went public (that happened several months later on August 6, 1991).

Good grief.. emcee Steve Harvey crowned the wrong woman at the Miss Universe contest last night.. the crown was given wrongfully to Miss Colombia, then ren[moved and given to Miss Philippines. Thank goodness it wasn't Miss USA who was part of the confusion.. otherwise, LA, Chicago, and NYC would be in shambles this morning. Hmmm.. wonder what kind of deal Trump could make to buy the pageant back at a discount?

---
Hmmm.. you know, if Trump doesn't win in 2016, he can always start "The Celebrity Apprentice" show back up.. I can see the first show already.. Steve Harvey wals on stage and before he takes a chair, Trump says, "You're Fired!

Online story: " A woman intentionally swerved her car onto a busy sidewalk two or three times Sunday and mowed down people outside a Las Vegas casino, killing one person and injuring at least 30 others, police said. *  Police are reviewing video from casino-hotel surveillance cameras, Capt. Brett Zimmerman said. "We know this was not an act of terrorism," he said." -- "not an act of terrorism"? Good grief.. tell that to the victims and their families ... I'd feel "terrorized"! Terrorism is not limited to jihadist...

Online sory: "Puerto Rico may be looking for a new beauty queen after 20-year-old Destiny Velez fired off a round of offensive tweets about Muslims.  * The former beauty contestant sent several tweets to filmmaker Michael Moore after he posted a tweet with the hashtag #WeAreAllMuslim on Thursday * It didn't take long for the Miss Puerto Rico Organization to criticize Velez's actions. *  Her Twitter account has since been disabled but she reportedly sent several tweets including one that said, "Muslims use our constitution to terrorize USA & plant gas stations."  * The group released a statement on Facebook that reads in part, "Miss Velez's actions were in contradiction to the organization, and therefore as a consequence of her actions, she has been suspended indefinitely." -- Hmm.. wonder if her replacement will wear a burqa?  You know.. it's sad.. no.. it's devastating that the truth gets you impaled by media and government...we need "hope and change" ... make America great again.. Trump is right!

---
Online headline: "Place in US where millenials make the most money * Researchers surveyed hundreds of millennials in all 51 states, and their results may surprise you." -- "surveyed hundreds... in all 51 states"? I know how we could get filthy rich.. going to mainscream media headquarters and selling them maps and globes with the 51 states on them based on them currently using out-of-date information.. I bet we could probably lease them studio space in the 51 state since they obviously have none now.

Online story: "SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) -- The nation's most polluted nuclear weapons production site is now its newest national park. * Thousands of people are expected next year to tour the Hanford Nuclear Reservation, home of the world's first full-sized nuclear reactor, near Richland, about 200 miles east of Seattle in south-central Washington. * They won't be allowed anywhere near the nation's largest collection of toxic radioactive waste. * "Everything is clean and perfectly safe," said Colleen French, the U.S. Department of Energy's program manager for the Hanford park. "Any radioactive materials are miles away." -- "Everything is clean and perfectly safe," said Colleen French, the U.S. Department of Energy's program manager for the Hanford park"?  Good grief.. this is the government Ronald Reagan warned us about when he pronounced  the  " most terrifying words in the English language ".... "I'm from the government and I'm here to help."

Oh! How about moving the World's Clean Energy conference there? Or since it's "safe", maybe build a Presidential Library/Golf Course there for Obamageddon's legacy?

L-E Sunday editorial headline/point:
"The Muslim community of Masjid AlJannah and Masjid AnNur of Columbus, Georgia, categorically denounces and condemns terrorism in all its forms. We express our profound sympathies and condolences to the families of the recent atrocities any Muslim who plans, attempts or carries out a terrorist attack would be acting outside the boundaries of his or her faith and would be renounced and condemned by our community. We encourage Muslims in America and throughout the world to actively oppose and expose these un-Islamic individuals and death cults.  *   The ugliness has already hit too close to home: Just last weekend, somebody scrawled graffiti, including profanities and the word "terrorist," on windows and outside walls of the Islamic Center of Macon. Worse has been reported around the country in the wake of the Paris and California terror attacks by radical Islamists."  --

Just as it's wrong to blame all Muslims for "allowing" radicals to besmirch Muslims as a whole; it's just as wrong to blame any non-Muslim for being frustrated to the point of cowardly vandalism. Let's place the blame where it belongs,, lack of leadership in the White House. America's respect from 3rd World countries has been destroyed by lackadaisical responses from our president, and even our allies feel betrayed by the president. To boot, there's no leader within the Democratic Party who can.. for that matter, who cares to restore America's leadership. If we take care if the leadership problem, other problems will take care of themselves. It's also wrong to think Mayor TomLYINGson can help... leadership.. well .. lack of it,  trickles down from the White House's Democratic Party head.

---
Online headline: "Study says attacks on US mosques at 5-year high" -- I suppose so...when Obamageddon calls acts of terrorism "work place violence" - and will not call ISIS "radical Islamists".. (for that matter, won't even call "ISIS".. ISIS) , and US Muslim groups appear not to be doing anything to disassociate themselves from the terrorists, people are going to react in ways that are, well, "reactionary" out of frustration and ignorance...

Online headline: "Sanders apologizes to Clinton, supporters for data breach" -- Good grief.. it's G.I. JILLary that need to apologize to America!  If "low level" staffers can "access" JILLary's files, then we know intelligence seeking entities have all the top secret/classified e-mail info she had on her servers..

---
From the above story: "The Democratic National Committee maintains a trove of voter information. The campaigns can add to that database — information they use to target voters and anticipate what issues might motivate them.  * In Clinton's case, campaign manager Robby Mook said that information included "fundamental parts of our strategy." Clinton aides said four Sanders workers reviewed in information in 25 separate searches that included details on voter turnout and candidate preferences, revealing the Clinton campaign's approach in early voting states such as Iowa and New Hampshire. *  Sanders' campaign fired a worker involved in the data breach, and campaign manager Jeff Weaver admitted that the worker's actions were "unacceptable."  * But the campaign rejected the allegations the Sanders team stole data, and it sued the DNC to regain access to the voter information." -- This is quite revealing.. the DNC is favoring JILLary rather than providing all the info freely..equally,  to all the Democratic Party candidates, and JILLary still cannot establish herself as the Democratic voters unified preference even though the only two other choices are only there to have on the stage so she doesn't have only "the truth" to debate.

---
Also from the above story: Recapping a graph included showing the popularity among Democrat voters finds more damaging date for JILLary....On January 1st, she already had 61.7% of the "base". It grew to a high of 67.6% in March, but had drifted down to 63.3% by July 4th.  It plunged to a low of 40,8% in late September ( Biden and Bernie combined for 47.7% at that time), but had climbed back to a post-Biden-departure in early December, but has dropped back down to 55.9% leding into Saturday night's debate. On the other hand, Bernie.. scruffy Independent socialist from Vermont who declared himself a Democrat last year so he could run in the Dem's primary, began 2015 with but 3.6% of "the base". By July 4th, he'd moved up to 12.7% then has had a steady rise since. He reached 27.6%  (and more than the still speculating Biden entry), and now stands at 30.8%. Yes, JILLary is still not rock solid with the 'yellow dog" Dems.. and believe me or not..BTW.. I do not think Biden is out of the picture.

Online headline: "Bush fires back at Trump for calling him 'dumb'" -- Hmmm that WAS "dumb" of Bush.. Trump IS right.

Incredibly more stupid than anything Jonathan Gruber ever said  about a LIV's opinion voiced as an L-E "soundoff": "We, Democrats, are tired of defending your life and liberties while you listen to every Republican who espouses hate against people they neither know nor try to." -- We have got to scrap our public education system and start over.. we cannot allow such stupidity to be passed along to another generation of children. This idiot's choice of safety leadership is downsizing our military personnel to 450,000.. 450,000 is one soldier for every 666 (sign of the beast?) in America's population of 300,000,000. On a local basis, that would mean 300 law enforcement officers would be adequate, and we know 3 time that amount cannot keep our streets safe... from our own street criminals..

L-E headline/story: "COST FOR BUILDING OF NEW MARKET TOPS $7M *  The price of building a Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market is materializing in real-estate circles, with the coming store on Buena Vista Road in Columbus costing more than $7.1 million for land acquisition and construction.  *     The sales price for what amounts to about 9.4 acres was $3,395,000  *  City building permits for the 42,436-square-foot neighborhood market — a full-line grocery store — list Polestar Development as the owner, with construction costing $3,753,464." -- Hmmm let's parse and compare this to the MCSD projected "SPLOST" project building costs and one particular piece of property the MCSD owns...  first Wlamarts has bought land on Buena Vista Road a well developed and price consistent area.. Walmarts acquired its 9.4 acres at a cost of $361,170.00 per acre.. The MCSD OWNS 44-plus acres off Whiteville Road which it uses for maintenance and junkyard for school buses.. properties in that area have already exceeded $1,000,000.00 an acre.. and judging by what Walmarts was willing to pay for the Buena Vista Road property, the MCSD property may be worth double the million dollar comparison price..SELL! Secondly.. Walmart is building an energy efficient, hi-tech market building for  $3,753,464.00 for 42,436 sq ft. That's less than $88.50 a square foot.. The MCSD  is building a number of wrestling/weight room.. metal shells on concrete slabs at an estimated $312.00 a square foot.. no special insulation, no special technology.. basically small barns.. Tell me we don't need.. no, DESERVE, a forensic audit of all MCSD accounts.. and it should be initiated by our MCSB members.

L-E headline/story: "Woman faces 18 charges after boy dies in wreck  *  A woman is facing 18 charges after a 7-year-old Phenix City boy died in a car wreck Saturday in Columbus, officials said.  * According to a police report, officers were dispatched to the intersection of Veterans Parkway and Moon Road at 8:31 p.m. after receiving a report of a crash with injuries. * Ayden Kitchens was pronounced dead at 9:07 p.m. at Midtown Medical Center after suffering traumatic head injuries, Muscogee County Coroner Buddy Bryan said.  * Kathryn A. Adams, who was driving another car other than the one Kitchens was riding in, was arrested in connection with the fatal wreck and two others. Details about the other crashes were not available. * According to the Muscogee County Jail, Adams faces 18 charges including murder, homicide by vehicle, theft by taking motor vehicle, DUI and leaving the scene of an accident. * She is scheduled to appear in Columbus Recorder’s Court Tuesday at 2 p.m." -- I don't know where to start with the pathetic nature of the reporting of this story.. the driver hit, and destroyed several vehicles.. (one driver's car is known to this writer). It happened about 8:30 Saturday night, yet was not mentioned by this "newspaper" in Sunday AM's edition (print nor electronic versions), even though somebody stayed up at the L-E to report on the Democrat Debacle.. uh, Debate. We subscribers deserve better from the L-E.
