Online story: "Jesse Morton, the Pennsylvania man who was once a recruiter for al-Qaeda, has taken a job at the George Washington University's Center for Cyber and Homeland Security, reports CNN.According to the New York Times, when he was active with the terrorist group, one of his main means of identifying and cultivating members was his website, Revolution Muslim.Morton also used the platform to provide instructions on how to carry out acts of violence against the U.S. and, sometimes, specific individuals. In 2012, he landed in jail for making threats against the South Park creators, who depicted the Prophet Muhammad in a bear costume.According to him, he abandoned his extremist ideologies while in prison" -- "he abandoned his extremist ideologies while in prison"? ..Yeah... Right! Gosh, then we ought to send all felons convicted of violent crimes to his former prison, because it doesn't seem that any of the others have had any success in curbing recidivism among violent prisoners. Maybe Dwayne Wade's family can sue the judge who sent the Sorrell brothers to a different prison other than the one Morton was sent. Hurry November.. We need TRUMP now!

---
Online headline/story: "White House: Obama shortens prison sentences of 111 convicts * For some of the convicts, the commutations mean they will serve only half of their original prison sentences. For instance, Sly Stallone Aikens of South Carolina, serving a sentence of 360 months for using and carrying a gun during a drug trafficking crime, will now serve only 180 months." -- "carrying a gun during a drug trafficking crime"? Obviously this felon wasn't picked up for trying to make a purchase a recreational amount on a street corner. I hope the Pardons and Parole Board assigns Aikens to be ZERO-bama's personal body guard when he's released.

You know, I wonder if Dwayne Wade was consulted about how he feels about felons with gun convictions being released early from their sentences...

From the "facts you run across looking up other stuff" department - Online story: "2. Chicago Police Department – The Chicago PD is not only the second largest local law enforcement agency in the country but it is also one of the oldest, dating back to 1837. It was officially recognized and established in 1855. The Chicago PD consists of more than 12,000 sworn officers and nearly 2,000 administrative and executive employees." -- FY!, NYC is the largest, and LA is third, but what's amazing is with 12,000 gun carrying police officers on the streets, only 6 out of 2883 people/thugs shot on the streets so far this year have been shot/killed by a police officer. Chicago doesn't need more laws, it needs more law abiding citizens!

---
Online story: "With less than a month to go before the first presidential debate Hillary Clinton's team is plotting ways to get under Donald Trump's skin, hoping to goad him into making a fatal mistake in front of his biggest audience yet." -- Hmmm.. guess they given up on her record of successful things she's accomplished, and on whether any new voters would believe Hellary about her plans for the future.

---
Online headline: "Anthony Weiner Reportedly Warned His Wife Huma That Raunchy Photos Were About to Be Leaked" -- Hmmm.. guess he was trying to spice up their bedroom life...

---
Online story: "On Tuesday, the Democratic Coalition Against Trump unearthed remarks Kellyanne Conway, Donald Trump's new campaign manager, made in January 2013 suggesting that rape is women's fault. If they weren't so weak, Conway suggested, they'd be able to fight off their attackers." -- Hmmm.. now this is important to Democrats.. of course, it was, and is,OK with the Democratic Coalition against Trump that Hellary has actually belittled raped women for 40 plus years.

---
Those Mercedes ads,, you know the one's that end with .. "The best....or nothing at all".. well, in the latest quality report for 2015 cars, 13 other cars brands were ranked for better owner satisfaction than Mercedes.. talk about shooting oneself in the foot...

---
One mainscream media poll says Catholics support Clinton over Trump.. how embarrassing for Catholics..demand a recount.

---
Seriously, how can you believe Hellary when she says she will support your needs/life, when you know she lies about everything?

---
Online headline: "Nearly 44,000 retail workers have been laid off in 2016" -- Hmm... what's economically encouraging about this..Vote Trump!

---
Online story: "The Associated Press projected the win for Wasserman Schultz shortly after polls closed and she had 57 percent of the vote. * "The result was so incredibly gratifying," she said. "It really fills my heart to know the people I have represented said with this margin and this vote: ‘We know her and we have been able to count on her for all these years.’ ” -- "57%"?  excuse me, but Washedout Schultz won her last race against a Republican by a bigger margin. now, 43% of Democrats didn't want to send her back..

---
How can realtors look sellers or buyers in the eye and tell them that they represent their interests yet plan to vote to lift the freeze? Sellers will get less , and what about motgage bankers,, no longer will they be able to look at tax costs as "fixed" when computing what the maximum loan they will approve.

---
You know some mentioned that footballs are made with pigskin .. why is it a good Muslim like Kaeperprick hasn't been declared an infidel by handling footballs..

---
FBI Director Comey says the election could be compromised by hackers. In fact, Comey said he was aware of 2 such invasions. Dingy Harry Reid declared that it probably was "the rushans"...? Now, my first thought was worrying about Democrats.

---
Too late for this cycle, but I am supporting any Republican who runs against John Pezold next cycle.. I had the most incredulous texting exchange with him yesterday. He initiated the thread complaining about me bringing his family into a conversation about fair tax assessments. Told him it was an example of how ineffective a collection agency our Tax Assessor's office is, and that an effective Tax Assessor's office could have all the current information up-to-date so existing property values would bring in more revenue despite the tax freeze.  He went ballistic defending his vote to allow the Tax Thaw initiative on the ballot.. kept wanting me to give him an age  I would approve of for him to get a say on voting on the issue.. I threw in questions about him naming people/addresses of homes of homes that were not paying their fair share. He said he knew of one that was only paying $35.00.. I said, Oh, are you talking about many of the owners of luxury condos at the Eagle&Phenix... then he got back on a another rant about how old I thought he needed to be to finally get to vote on the issue.. I asked him to send me the names/addresses of 10 properties that pay $100.00 or less in property taxes.. he said he couldn't. I said since he was using such info to defend his vote on allowing the Tax Thaw initiative on the ballot, I figured he had that info at his fingertips. More rage about how old I thought he should be to vote.. I finally told him "age, when you grow up and become a man".. He still demanded an age.. I said, "John, you sound like my granddaughter (age 4) pitching a fit when she doesn't have the logic to figure out why she can't have an ice cream before supper". (Then I ducked).

LIV's L-E "soundoff": "I hope that Darr and Countryman realize that the reason the city doesn’t have money to fund activities to keep our youth out of trouble is because of their stupid lawsuits that are bankrupting Columbus." -- Hmmm.. "the city doesn't have the money"? Well, this LIV needs to talk with the ZERO-bama DOJ about how much the lawsuits they will file will cost this city if their mandates aren't kept. Council should do that then impeach Mayor TomLYINGson for trying to ruin our City.

---
From the "are you sure Black Lives Matter" department - L-E headline/story: "Jury returns mixed verdict in retrial, rejects murder charge *  After nearly 12 hours' deliberation, the jury returns a partial verdict in the retrial of Ulysses Wiggins. *  a Columbus jury delivered a mixed verdict Tuesday in the retrial of Ulysses Wiggins, who was charged with murder in the Dec. 16, 2008, fatal shooting of Catherine Walker at a Talbotton Road apartment complex. * Unlike the judge in Wiggins’ bench trial in 2010, the jury found him not guilty of malice or intentional murder and reached no verdict on the charge of felony murder for allegedly killing Walker while committing the felony of aggravated assault." -- "no verdict on the charge of felony murder for allegedly killing Walker "? To this jury, Catherine Walker must not have existed...her life must not have mattered. Shame!

---
L-E headline: "AURORA MASSACRE SURVIVORS’ LAWSUIT * How four Aurora massacre survivors ended up owing the theater $700K * Judge finds for theater chain after settlement collapses, leaving the four remaining plaintiffs on the tab for court costs" -- With any luck, this may dry up those law adswe are bombarded with on TV!

It doesn't look like it will a good year for the South Carolina Gamecocks... they are a 4.5-point underdog at home tonight... against Vanderbilt...

Tuesday, August 30, 2016

You know... while there are similarities between the Clintons.. such as liars supreme, there's one particular difference ... Hellary has neither style nor substance.

---
Online headline: "Cuban: Trump could start 'WWIII'" -- "Cuban"? Oooops.. that one.. not one of the Castro brothers.. You really have to wonder what's driving Mark Cuban's ego... but whatever it is, it sure is damaging the image as a sage.. WWIII has already started!

---
Anthony Weiner is back in the spotlight... remember those "Weiner for Mayor of NY" signs.. well, it was a prophecy that came true.. Bill de Bl(_*_)sio.

---
You know, our "RINO-publican" representative Pezold is a work of art.. he supports TomLYINGson's tax thaw, yet in his family, one is trying to get away with not paying the fair taxes as the law reads now. His parents have moved into a medical retirement facility yet their other home still has a H1 exemption on it.. Have sent a copy of the Tax Database file to our Council/Mayor (and media reps), Another "player" bought a home last October for $725,000.00 yet the NEW tax assessment values it at $557,417.00. It also has an exemption code I do not recognize.. "HC" instead of "H1".. That property has a previous sales price $670,000.00 in 2009. Let's shine the light on those backing this effort to remove our tax freeze!

---
With as many laws as libs claim we need more and stronger worded ones, have you noticed they don't address the issue of desecrating of flag. This is one I think is needed.. A law requiring all US Flags sold for display use be made of a heavily fire retardant materials, and a law to charge anyone dousing the US fla=g with an accelerant and lighting it be charged with felony arson. Hmmm, and how about throwing in all mandatory 5 year sentences be served at GITMO since it has plenty of openings.. now.

---
Online headline/story: "Unemployment insurance claims soar in Georgia * First-time claims for unemployment insurance in Georgia soared in July, with most metropolitan areas, including Gainesville, recording double-digit increases. * Statewide, applications increased 30.6 percent compared to the numbers for June, led by Rome which had an increase of 94.6 percent. " -- Hmmm well, while not as bad as Rome, our increase was still an unhealthy 47.5%. This is not what we expect until the end of August when all those temporary summer job holders return to school. These are jobs that longer term workers held and have been laid off. Betcha the economic and health insurance policies established by the Democratic Party in ZERO-bama's first two years is coming to roost ..now that we've had time to red what they passed.

---
You know.. when I think about Hellary being in position to be elected president, it makes my skin crawl to think she would ne on the same list as Washington and Lincoln and Reagan, and that our grandchildren will be forced to see her as an equal..

---
You know, we cannot blame the state of the nation all on Democrats...no RINO-publicans are as much to blame, as they've diluted the conservative concept to the point that too many voters had just been too demoralized to go vote. Trump is making that feeling disappear.

---
In it's assessment of Mike Pence's upcoming campaign trip to GA, the AJC has to put it's liberal stamp on the facts.. The AJC "says", "The campaign stops – and the local officials who will speak at each – are designed to be a GOP show of unity behind Trump and Pence in Georgia. The state hasn’t voted for a Democrat since 1992, but Trump’s divisive comments and sagging support among conservatives has forced him to play defense in a reliably Republican state." -- Good grief.. it's not the conservtives Trump mneeds to win over, it's those quasi-Demtcratic placating RINOs! In fact.. those "RINOs" should be taking lesson notes from Trump and Pence if they want to stay relevant.

---
A South Carolina high school principal banned the American flag from a football game because the visiting team had a large number of players of Hispanic ancestry. Aren't those players Americans also, but even if they weren't, this IS America and we fly the American flag to honor our Founding Fathers and our active and veteran soldiers and our future!. Fire the principal!

---
Hmmm .. if you are wondering what Iran might use $400,000,000.00 in CASH, how about buying Russian missiles.

---
As far as I'm concerned.. Kaepernick's career and the products he has endorsed are "dead to me" One of his endorsement contrats is with TATA Motors LTD,. In it's own way, this is sorta cryptic.. as Kaepernick  might as well say "ta-ta" to the NFL and product endorsements

---
What is it with Democrat spinmeisters.. seems their number one ploy is to say Trump isn't "presidential" enough times in hopes that someone other than libs will believe them. Trouble is that nothing Democrat spinmeisters can say will convince non-libs that Hellary is..or will ever be, "presidential".

---
Of course the dean at the University of Chicago would say that students should not expect to find "safe zones"..good grief, there's no safe zones in Chicago anywhere.

---
Although a twenty year high, the number of homicides in August actually shows a drop from May-June-July totals.. of course it may be that the thugs are out-of-town on vacation, but it's most likely that there are about 1300 less thugs living after those prior 3 months.

---
L-E headline: "RiverWalk’s 22-mile span to be done next year, official says" -- Hmmm.. obviously, the GA DOT didn't award the job to the Whittlesey Road expansion company.. On the other hand, the cost has been "neutered"... Per officials, "Funding for the projects will come from the TSPLOST approved by voters in 2012" ..what is it that let's "officials" keep a straight face when suggesting that tax dollars do not come directly out of YOURS and my pockets.... and only after they have taken their share in salaries and benefits?
---
From the L-E's "Today in history" feature: "In 1967, the Senate confirmed the appointment of Thurgood Marshall as the first black justice on the U.S. Supreme Court." -- Hmmm... now, let's parse the confirmation vote vote.. There were 64 Democrat Senators and 36 Republicans. The vote to confirm Thurgood Marshall was a close one, especially since a Democrat president, LBJ nominated Marshall for the seat. Out of the 64 Democrats sitting in the Senate, ONLY 37 voted YES on Marshall's appointment, while 32 of 36 Republicans voted for him. Thurgood Marshall would not be of historical significance had it not been for the Republican Party.. No wonder Dr. Martin Luther King was a Republican. What has happened to the black vote's direction!

L-E headline/story: "Jury is still out on Columbus man’s second murder trial * The jury apparently can’t reach a unanimous decision on all the charges against Ulysses Wiggins, raising the possibility his second trial could end in a mistrial. *   * Jury is still out on Columbus man’s second murder trial * Convicted in 2010 and sentenced to life in prison in the 2008 fatal shooting of Catherine Walker, Wiggins got a second trial after the Georgia Supreme Court overturned his conviction, ruling that Wiggins had asked to represent himself and the judge in 2010 neglected to hold a hearing on his request. *  * The jury apparently can’t reach a unanimous decision on all the charges against Ulysses Wiggins, raising the possibility his second trial could end in a mistrial." -- What is it with our GA Supreme Court that makes it overturn about any guilty convict's case on such premises as this and the infamous "inefficient representation by defense counsel"? Who believes a criminal is better suited to handled his own murder trial than someone else who has been somewhat trained (or at least exposed) to the legal aspects of a murder trial? I'm not sure who the judge was in this case, but I'm sure he considered the criminal's request with due diligence, and justifiably found no reason to look further into it. The GA Supreme Court should be reprimanded for undermining the lower courts of the state.
---
L-E headline: "Eyewitnesses shed light on questions about fatal school bus crash last week * While officials continue to investigate the cause of last week’s fatal bus crash, three eyewitnesses who saw the bus immediately before, during and after the wreck shed light on some remaining questions. " -- Every discussion about what happened .. especially the "no brake lights", indicate to thinking people that something.. possibly a heart attack or some seizure, disabled the bus driver. It pretty much explains all the actions surrounding the bus's movements a]nd crash. I haven't seen anything in the L-E even approaching such happenings.
Still, my number one question is why the MCSD is picking up Kindergarten and 1st grade students to begin with, but more questionable is why parents ALLOW their K-1 children to ride on the buses?
---
L-E headline: "Four charged with murder of woman who was beaten, burned in Grantville" -- Four of the five people charged in the home invasion where Dorothy Dow was fatally beaten and burned now face murder charges, authorities confirmed. One serious question leaps out: Why didn't this story expand on why one of the criminals was NOT charged with " mass and malice murder "?
---

In today's  L-E "Letters". Eva Ulrich Chappelle brings up the sadness fn the local Girls Scouts Council selling off Camp Concharty. I had the same distaste for our local Boy Scout council when they sold off Camp McKenzie a number of years ago, because my grandfather J. D. Kirven, Sr,  was among a group of local business leaders (Homer Dimon, James B, Key, H.B. Crowell, J.A. Thomas, Frank G. Lumpkin, Sr,, Sidney Colquitt et al) who bought and donated the property in 1921 to the Boy Scouts so the camp could be built. It's a shame current leaders don't have the commitment to keep such treasures open and thriving for future generations.

From the "what are libs trying to imply" department - Online headline/story: "Public schools in 21 states still hit kids, and black students are disproportionately affected * Although corporal punishment is on the decline throughout the country, more than 109,000 students across 21 states were physically disciplined in the 2013–2014 school year, a new Education Week report has found. * Hitting, spanking, paddling, or other forms of corporal punishment also disproportionately affected African-American students, who comprise 38% of those who were physically disciplined, despite making up just 22% of all students who attend schools that allow the practice. * White students, meanwhile, make up 50% of those physically disciplined, but comprise 60% of students enrolled." -- Hmmm... figures don't lie, but liars figure a lot..especially by the proponents of liberalism.. good grief.. just look at their inspiration.. King ZERO-bama and Queen Hellary. What we have here mirrors "crime and punishment"  statistics of REAL WORLD 101. It also reflects the differences of having fathers in the family. On the other hand, there is no "parsing" of the other 18% of non-white/non-black students.. they are "only" getting 12% of the corporal discipline.

You know, while I don't have stats on my high school years, corporal disciplines were a part of  life, and 100% of the "recipients" were white.

---
Online headline: "Recent change may send Obamacare costs soaring" -- Good grief.. since ZERO-bama built it on a foundation of anything but solid rock, it's a wonder it hasn't totally collapsed already.

---
Those medical ads kill me..one says take Trintellix for depression, but warns you to tell your doctor if you get more depressed while taking it.. huh? How would you know?

---
The US Championship of the Little League World Series gave a lot better show than the Olympics..11/12/13 year olds KNOW to respect our flag.

---
You know, around a Little League ball field on game days, the last two words of the National Anthem are, "Play Ball!"

---
Why should private organizations..such as Judicial Watch, have to sue federal agencies to get damaging information about politicians? The FBI works for us taxpayers, and keeping us informed of political malfeasance should be their obligation.

---
Hmmm..following stories about political figures Foundations, it might be prudent to look into Mayor TomLYINGson's personal Foundation..especially the distributions before and following her elections and referendum issues.

---
Got a "survey" robo-call from "The Green Survey" on Saturday touting a "free cruise" for 2 if you take the survey. Being of sound mind and good common sense , and knowing that "free" ain't gonna be happening, I declined (by hanging up). Unfortunately, Democrat voters will accept the opportunity because they cannot turn away from a promise of "free", and are conditioned to accept it.. This is how and why too many polls will show Hellary stronger than she really is. November 8th is the only poll that counts.

---
Those Hollywood fundraisers...the big buck ones... do you think most of those "stars" has ever thought about whether any of the Trump protestors have ever bought a ticket to their movies?

---
Trump canceled a Chicago rally..Democratic spinmeisters are trying to say that he did so because he was afraid of the huge MoveOn.com instigated protest. Trump wasn't "afraid" but he was concerned about the safety of his supporters, as it was quite apparent the Chicago police, under the leadership of Democrat mayor (and former ZERO-bama Chief-of-Staff) Rahm Emanuel, either would not or could not control the mob.

---
L-E headline: "30 years later, Stocking Strangling saga continues * The case against Carlton Gary continues to take turns more than 30 years after he was found guilty of three of seven “Stocking Stranglings” in Columbus. Gary remains on death row at 65 years old, waiting to see if a last-ditch effort can gain him a new trial." --  Good grief, if there is any budget item Mayor TomLYINGson should be protesting about over-budget expenditures, it should be about what maintaining this (_*_) and his (_*_) legal team has cost us!

---
Online headline: "2 Chicago brothers charged in murder of NBA star's cousin -police * Two brothers have been arrested and charged in the shooting death of basketball star Dwyane Wade's cousin in Chicago, a case that has emerged as a talking point in the U.S. presidential race, police said on Sunday. * Darwin Sorrells Jr., 26, and Derren Sorrells, 22, are facing charges of first-degree murder and attempted murder in the death of Nykea Aldridge, a 32-year-old mother of four *  Guglielmi described Derren Sorrells as a "documented member" of a Chicago gang called the Gangster Disciples and the older Sorrells as a "co-conspirator" who was "let out early" on a sentence of six years after his conviction on a gun charge from 2013." -- Hey, ZERO-bama..Sen Feinstein.. what about a new gun law! None of the ones you have on the books work when you let criminals out.. much less out early, from prior gun use crimes. Let's face it, the only way to stop recidivist gun crimes is the automatic death sentence!

---

Online headline/story: "Ithaca College student dead after stabbing on Cornell's campus *  An Ithaca College student was killed (stabbed) during a "large fight" on the Cornell University campus early Sunday morning * Another student was injured (stabbed) , according to officials from both schools * Ithaca College has not yet released the identity of the other student pending family notification." -- Of course it's a tragedy, but I'm gonna be a little bit non-PC for a second.. First. so much for "safe zones" on campuses when people with intent to harm KNOW others will be without weapons, but what is this cap about a college not releasing a student's name until it notifies the student's family! There's not a parent around who doesn't know that if yoy called your child's college and asked about him/her that the college won't even talk to you about him/her...

---
Sunday was fun...the game was baseball, and I was OK with pulling for a New York team for the first time since the Giants moved to San Francisco. Congratulations, Maine-Endwell, NY...LL World Series champs.

---
Online headline: "Niners QB will continue to boycott anthem" -- Hey.. no brainer.. start boycotting NFL games with the 49ers, and if that doesn't get the NFL upset, then definitely boycott the NFL games that are opposite the Trump/Hellary debates.. you know, there's going to be more action at the debates, anyway.

---
Ryan Lochte's sponsors dropped him for bringing shame and dishonor to his sport and , his teammates, and his country. When are the sponsors of the San Francisco 49ers going to do the same because of Kaepernick?

---
Did you see and hear the Latino/a filled Texas rally for Trump last night..awesome responses to Trump's plans.

---
Online story: "The Cato Institute released its 2016 rankings for "Freedom in the 50 States." The authors look at a wide range of indicators that fall into three broad categories: fiscal policy, regulatory policy and personal freedom. *  Each indicator is weighted differently. For example, state taxes, local taxes, government subsidies and government debt are the only four indicators affecting the fiscal policy ranking. But there are about 100 indicators that go into the personal freedom ranking. It includes everything from cigarette taxes and marijuana laws to incarceration rates and local gun bans. *  By their ranking, New York is the least free state in the nation, and its fiscal policy is mostly to blame. The authors write, "New York's local tax burden is twice that of the average state [and] debt is the highest in the country." -- "New York is the least free state in the union"? Hmmmm... by "coincidence" and we know there aren't any "coincidences", both candidates for president are from New York.. Hellary is a politician who would love to raise your taxes even more, and Trump is a businessman who would like to eliminate excessive taxes.. I know who I'm going to vote for.. Vote Trump.

You know, with this bit of info, Trump can really put NY in play in November.. Hope he floods the state with ads concerning this. Oh, and for the record, California is the second less free state in the union.. I believe this could  put California in play as well.

---
Last night, our church had it's "Summer Missions Report" where slide shows and videos bring our various missions to life for the rest of the membership... One comment made really bothered me.. One of our missions is "World Hunger Relief". It's a mission of teaching better agriculture methods to representatives from 3rd world countries to take back to their countries to improve food production for their people. Our coordinator said a representative from Liberia, where we also have another long term ongoing mission project, was denied a Visa to come and participate because he was a single male. It hit me, that here was a single male coming to learn about something that he could take back with him to make things better and our government wouldn't allow him in, but this same government agency wants to let an army of unvetted male Muslim refugees in to our country with no plan for repatriating them back to their countries. This is WRONG! Vote Trump!

---
There was one of those "how can this happen to good people" accidents involving a bus load of flood relief volunteers. The bus was going to New Orleans and crashed into an existing accident scene and two people died. The bus driver, identified as 37-year-old Denis Amaya Rodriguez, was in custody on suspicion of multiple violations, NBC News reported, citing Louisiana State Police spokeswoman Melissa Matey. Rodriguez, who is from Honduras, was in the U.S. illegally, the network reported, citing Matey.... Now, it's not just how can illegal aliens get a driver's licence, but how can an illegal alien get a Commercial Driver';s Licence?

---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "White Lives Matter To Be Listed As Hate Group By Southern Poverty Law Center" -- Hmmm.. I can only guess it's because it's "white", because I think ALL LIVES MATTER.

---
From the :maybe it was a typo" department - HuffPOOPOO headline/story: "Anthony Weiner Reportedly Caught In Yet Another Sext Scandal * Weiner, 51, who’s married to top Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin, allegedly sent lurid tweets and photos of his crotch to another woman, the New York Post reported. One of the raunchy selfies included his young son in the background. *  Weiner said in May on the “Here’s The Thing With Alec Baldwin” podcast, "“Being a dad, that’s my job,”.--- "Being a dad"? Wow.. an obvious TYPO... and actually said, "being a DUD".

Hmmm, why does Hellary keep Huma Abedin around.. I guess it's because when they can sit down and open up, Hellary can feel there's a husband who's a bigger prick than hers.

---
Jim Barksdale, Democrat candidate running for the GA Senate seat, reminds me of that insurance company ad about "bundled policies" where a couple selects a car, and the salesman informs them they get the trailer and boat, and also the salty old captain as well.. If you choose Barksdale, you'll get his stupid little cap he always wears as well.

---
Whew.. have you seen the story about the current costs of EpiPen? Merck sold it to Mylan when it was becoming generic, and Mylan, because there isn't a convenient competitive product out there users can turn to, has jacked up the under $5.00 cost product to where it retails at over $600.00.. I guess Mylan's CEO feels that since she's donated to Hellary and her Foundations, she can get away with it. Vite Trump, and bring Mylan DOWN!

President John F. Kennedy said, "Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we will pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, in order to assure the survival and the success of liberty." Fast forward to 2016..are there any Democrats that would sign on to support Kennedy's position in the form of a law? Not on your life.. our friends now doubt our support, and our foes laugh at us.. Vote Trump!

Saturday, August 27, 2016

It's sorta sad when you think about it.. Hellary has raised 100s of millions of dollars to help her get the word out about the good things she has done or accomplished... but has nothing to talk about. Unless you consider that a lot of it has come from the banking industry so she CAN'T talk about them.

---
From the "look what I stumbled across browsing the I-net" department. -- Last year, Baltimore, Chicago, and Washington, D.C, three cities with probably THE toughest gun control laws on the books, had homicide rates that raised our nations murder rates for 2015 even though the rest of the country DROPPED.  Chicago, particularly, has been in the public eye for years as has Washington, D.C., but Baltimore was under the radar until the mayor told the police to give the rioters/looters "space to "those who wished to destroy" . Well, 2015 was the worst kill rate per population this century.. In fact, Baltimore is a once great city in failure mode. In 1950, Baltimore had a population of 950,000 people and was the 6th most populous city in America.. in 2000, Baltimore was down to 650,000 and dropped to the 18th most populous city. Now Baltimore's population is around 622,000 and is only the 29th biggest city in America. You guessed it, there hasn't been a Republican mayor in Baltimore since 1967.. sorta ties in with the beginning of LBJ's "Great Society/War on Poverty.

---
What is it that Congressman Trey Gordy's new image makes you think about? My first thoughts were of Santa Claus for the  Oompa Loompas. Maybe he should rethink that beard.

---
Dwayne Wade had a cousin shot and wounded on the streets of Chicago in 2012.. Yesterday, another cousin was shot and killed.. in the middle of the afternoon as she was pushing a baby stroller on the way to register her older children for school. Chicago. Chicago had 508 homicides in 2015.. and already has 480 this year.. yes, Chicago hasn't had a Republican mayor since 1931.

---
Oh, since we're on a roll.. Washington, D.C. began having a mayor in 1975... NONE have been Republicans.. and, since it "seems to matter" all have been African-Americans.

---
From the "wake up call" department - Online headline: "2-year-old taken off life support against family's will" --  Welcome to California and OobamaCRAP!

---
Online story: "Paul Wolfowitz, a Republican adviser to former U.S. President George W. Bush, plans to vote for Democrat Hillary Clinton in the November presidential election despite his "serious reservations," Der Spiegel magazine reported on Friday." -- Hmm.. they say, time reveals all.. it seems, at best, that Bush was a RINO after all.

---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "5 Reasons Why North American Retirees Are Flocking To Mexico" -- Hmmm.. the usual.. weather, cost of living.etc etc.. but they obviously left off the biggest reason.. most of the gang members have moved to America.

Had lunch with a few jocks from various 60s CHS classes, and most of us met again at the CHS-Jordan football game last night. My bride and I left at halftime and CHS had a 43-21 lead. I think I figured out how the MCSD saved money this year...they cut out defensive coaches. Oh.. final score 62-21!

---
New ball game... Alveda King, niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was on Fox yesterday and said she was liking Trump's job and school plans. Now we just need to pray that Hellary doesn't buy the votes back with more promises she won't keep.

---
We better not get too excited about the U of Chicago dean who said there would be no "safe zones" or speaker cancellations. Sounds good, but probably just means that no conservative speakers will get invited at all.

---
L-E headline: "Two arrested, three wanted in Deonn Carter murder case" -- A pox on any taxpayer funded lawyer who helps them plead "not guilty"! Oh, and I'd know if any of the 5 graduated from a local high school, and whether they earned or were just awarded diplomas..

---
Even mainscream media doesn't understand the black vote. The black is not tied to Hellary, it's allegiance is to Democrat programs & and someone with a solution to poverty is going to be attractive. Vote Trump!

---
L-E headline/story: "Spencer leads the way with most improvement on ACT * By Mark Rice * Spencer is the only local school to increase its average composite score on the four ACT subject tests of English, math, reading and science by at least 1 point. Comparing the 2015 and 2016 results, Spencer’s composite score increased by 1.1 points, from 16.2 to 17.3. The highest score possible is 36." -- Another fluff piece protecting his wife's job with the MCSD.. With 36 being the top score and 18 being the average/mean. less than 18 is a complete failure.. While acknowledging progress is motivational, it is hardly worth celebrating. Of course, when the writer has an agenda, it seems like the "write thing to do".

---
L-E headline/story: "U.S. wants to force lower speeds on truck and bus drivers *  The U.S. is seeking to forcibly limit how fast trucks, buses and other large vehicles can travel on the nation’s highways. A new proposal Friday would impose a nationwide limit by electronically capping speeds with a device on newly made U.S. vehicles that weigh more than 26,000 pounds. Regulators are considering a cap of 60, 65 or 68 mph * Whatever the speed limit, drivers would be physically prevented from exceeding it. *  The proposal, which comes from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, does not force older heavy vehicles to add the speed-limiting technology," -- Taking bets now that 1 - there will already be a "hack" before the first truck hits the road, and 2- that truckers will keep their older rigs and there will be a huge drop in sales of new ones. Oh.. and it's not the US wanting to do this.. it's Democrats and the ZERO-bama administration.

AOL headline: "Trump may have fabricated a major detail about his life" -- "may have"? Good grief.. there are circumstances where Hellary " may have" lied, but where are the headlines announcing those.. but what AOL is talking about is family origins of the Trump family.. and whether they are from Germany or Sweden.. and to cite Hellary, at this point, "What difference does it make?" I can unequivocally state that Hellary's lies DO make a difference.. Oh, and since Trumps' grandfather came to America in 1905 and became a citizen of America, Trump is an AMERICAN!

---
Online headline: "Ryan Lochte signs deal with unlikely brand after Rio scandal" -- Oooops, my bad.. thought he'd been gobbled up by the DNC to be the next White House spokesperson for ZERO-bama.. and Hellary if she makes it.

---
Online story: "LOS ANGELES, Aug 25 (Reuters) - Police who have renewed the search for a man suspected in two brutal murders in Michigan and Ohio more than 30 years ago have released a sketch of what the suspect could look like today and say he may be living in the Los Angeles area as a woman. * John Kelly Gentry Jr., who would now be 63, has not been seen since the April 1983 killings of a man and a woman who he was having relationships with at the time, according to police." -- Whoa! Lightning does strike twice.. Bruce Jenner is not the first man to kill someone then try to hide out as a woman!

---
Online story: "A boycott against Target over its bathroom policy is costing the retailer more than anyone expected. * The boycott started back in April after Target announced that it would welcome transgender customers to use any bathroom or fitting room that matched their gender identity. *  more than 1.4 million people signed a pledge to stop shopping at Target unless it reversed the policy. * But Target didn't back down. *  The company revealed its traffic declines last week when it reported second-quarter earnings. *  Target's same-store transactions, which is how traffic is measured, fell 2.2% in the second quarter. Overall sales fell 7.2% to $16.2 billion * Now shopper traffic is declining for the first time in years and the company is installing single-occupancy bathrooms in all of its stores to give critics of the policy more privacy" -- Hmmm... Target did back down, but not shoppers so far, after all. but I tell you what, when I am there when my bride (or daughters) shop there, I will still maintain my guardian post outside the Ladies' Room just to make sure.

---
Online headline: "Delta to stop airing Chris Rock's 'Kill the Messenger' due to use of gay slur" -- Good grief.. Chris Rock's movies,, and him personally, ought to have been banned since the time he advocated for the death of President Bush (43) and his entire family!

Online headline: "FBI to investigate nude photo hack" -- Yeah.. the FBI will investigate nudies but not Hellary..

From the "there goes the neighborhood" department: Sag Harbor.. old time neighborhood near The Hamptons on Long Island, NY is being segregated after 50 plus years on being exclusively black, and neighbors are upset.. what irony...

With the soaring costs of student loans, how inappropriate was it for Slick Willie to take over $17 MILLION in fees/salaries over 5 years from a "for-profit college"?

---
Online story: "The University of Chicago, one of America’s most prestigious and selective universities, is warning incoming students starting this fall not to expect safe spaces and a trigger-free existence during their four-year journey through academia" -- Payback for ZERO-bama and Hellary claiming to be Chicagoans but abandoning it to live elsewhere?

---
Online story: "Schnucks, based in St. Louis, announced a new policy banning all solicitors — and that includes little girls selling Thin Mints and Tagalongs, and the Salvation Army bell-ringers" -- Hmmm.. what an unfortunate name for a grocery store.. but that''ll change now.. Schnucks will forever be known as "SMUCKS"!

---
Online headline: "BIAS ALERT: Media looks inward, deems slanted Trump coverage warranted" -- Good grief...mainscream media will excoriate a person they don't like personally because he's as successful as he is politically incorrect but defends a corrupt liar because she's not Trump. Trump is right, mainscream media is crooked.

---
Follow up - Online story: "A US Navy coastal patrol ship fired three warning shots at an Iranian ship that sailed within 200 yards in the Northern Persian Gulf Wednesday after one of four close calls this week involving US and Iranian vessels, a US official confirmed to Fox News on Thursday." -- Wow.. see what leadership does for America? After only 14 months of Trump's presence, ZERO-bama's genitalia have "dropped".

---
It's 3:00PM,  and Shepard Smith just came on.. announcing Hellary was about to make a speech going after Trump. Fancy that.. Fox covering a Hellary speech when Shepard Smith is on, and conservative voters change channels. That sorta means, Hellary won't be heard by anybody but libs.

---
Hellary cited Maya Angelou saying we should believe a person is what he first reveals himself to be." Good grief, how can Hellary look at herself in a mirror without barfing at herself?

---
Hellary said Donald Trump was trying to make himself over. Good grief, this coming from the Queen.of Makeovers?

---
Yesterday morning, Fox & Friends has a cookbook author on and was demonstrating some recipes. The first thing she said was that she wasn't a cook. Why would you want a cookbook by someone who admits she's not a cook?

---
Atlanta J-C headline: "Georgia Democrats stand behind Hillary Clinton after tumultuous week " -- Good grief.. this is newsworthy? Georgia Democrats, Alabama Democrats.. or any other state's Democrats.. (In the spirit of Hellary) "what difference does it make". Democrats are going to support Hellary or any other "D" on the ballot... fortunately, there aren't enough Democrats to elect her.

---
From the "headlines you won't see published by the Columbus L-E concerning the MCSD" department - "Cobb ACT scores higher than state, national averages" --  what else can I add?

---
Online headline: "State of Georgia releases four proposed amendments to appear on November ballot" -- You know, all 4 of the statewide Amendment votes are worded for "Yes" votes on issues most people will not give a second thought before voting.. this is why our local Constitutional vote about the ending the tax freeze is worded so a "Yes Vote" REMOVES the protection we now have... making it a "Yes" issue capitalizes on voters who will vote "Yes" for protection in other areas in hopes they will vote "yes" to REMOVE local protection.. Mayor TomLYINGson is just as crooked as Hellary!

http://savannahnow.com/politics-news/2016-08-24/state-georgia-releases-four-proposed-amendments-appear-november-ballot

---
L-E headline: "Georgia unemployment rate takes a dip in July" -- Good grief.. it's summer.. and temps/teens are getting hired for summer businesses and as temp workers to cover for vacation times for full time/all year workers, and these jobs disappear it the end of August when school starts up again.

---
L-E headline: "Brothers set to line up on opposite sides * Andrew Ogletree (Carver) and Khalil Thomas (Spencer) will be playing on the same field, likely for the last time, on Friday night in the 54th annual Heritage Bowl." -- Hmmm.. interesting story/scenario but how do brothers living at the same address play at two different schools? Doesn't the GHSAA have rules prohibiting play at a school when a home address is not in it's district?

---
Follow up to story reported yesterday: There is conflicting "evidence" as to whether "At Home" is.. or is not.. coming to Peachtree Mall this Fall.. hopefully a definitive.. and verifiable... statement is soon forthcoming.

Liberal Informed Voter's L-E "soundoff": "Where are Joe Biden and Mitt Romney when we need them?" -- "when we need them"? Gimmee a break,,

---
L-E headline/story: "Police: Teen admitted to robbing Bojangles’ * allegedly directed authorities to the J.R. Allen Parkway exit ramp and showed them where he dropped the weapon. Officials found the semiautomatic pistol in the nearby woods, Hall testified." -- You know.. caught red-handed.. knew where the gun was dropped.. now, if he's appointed a lawyer and pleads "not guilty" in Recorders Court, and bound over to state/superior court, the lawyer should be removed from being paid by the taxpayers.

---
L-E story: "Almost eight years after Columbus Council fired the Parks and Recreation director over the operation of youth basketball, there is talk to consider bringing midnight basketball back to the city. *  Columbus Mayor Teresa Tomlinson made the announcement Thursday during a Conversation on Community Policing and Crime Prevention at the Columbus Public Library. The mayor was responding to some of the 60 residents who want more activities for youth to keep them out of trouble and committing crime." -- Good grief.. "Midnight Basketball" is going to keep crime down? These kids need to be hoime and in bed .. not roaming the streets after midnight.. Now an evening or afternnon basketball program could effective IF kids were required to have a weekly note from their school principal saying they are passing in all their class activities.

According to a Columbus L-E article, we had 61 murders/homicides in the time period of 2012-2014,, an average of about 20 per year in our 200,000 population." -- You know.. we look at figures but don't have comparisons of what they mean.. Let's parse a bit.. in available comparison years of 2012, 2013 and 2014. Columbus has had an average of 20 homicides, and Chicago has had an average of 476.. This calculates out to 1 in 10,000 Columbus homicides while Chicago, with it's population of about 2,700,000 has a ratio of 1 in 5,672.. this sort means that Columbus is only less than half as safe as Chicago...

Wow... we already adored Olympic Gold Medalist swimmer Katie Ledecky, but now she's added a halo.. She has turned down turning pro (and $5 MILLION per year in endorsements) to go to college and compete as an amateur. God protect this angel!

Online headline: "'Affluenza' mom has a new job that may shock you" -- Oooops, my bad.. was hoping it was making license tags...

---
Online headline: "New Jersey town deluged with dead fish" -- Oooops, thought the DNC had called a secret meeting to discuss replacing Hellary..

---
Good grief.. Hellary's spinmeisters are out trying to convince mainscream media that it shouldn't "cherry pick" her meeting with big dollar donors out of the many she had. What hypocrisy..that's like asking people not to notice Shaq O'Neal playing a munchkin in a remake of "The Wizard of Oz". To be honest (hey Bill, how do YOU define that), a Secretary of State..should not have ANY meetings with folks that have been political supporters/donors. under any circumstances. Just hope mainscream media doesn't buy into her excuses.

---
From the "self-explanatory headline" department - Online headline: "BIAS ALERT: New York Times finds latest Clinton Foundation bombshell unfit to print" -- Other recent gems the NYT has printed are: 1 - "The Times reported "there is no evidence that the hackers, believed to be Russian, were successful." -- Hmmm.. "believed to be".. what happened to "allegedly"? and 2 - "somewhere on page A-13, amid the “Election 2016” coverage. The page was led by a story declaring polls point toward a Clinton landslide, even though recent surveys show the race has tightened to a dead heat." ...

---
Here's a story concerning one of the "cherry-picked" donors to Hellary's foundation - Online story: "The new batch of emails showing that the State Department gave special access to top Clinton Foundation donors while Hillary Clinton was secretary of state brings to mind the case of a shady Miami businessman serving a 12-year prison sentence after scamming the government out of millions. His name is Claudio Osorio, a Clinton Foundation donor who got $10 million from the government after the Clinton State Department reportedly pulled some strings. * Osorio got the money from the Overseas Private Investment Corporation (OPIC), a federal agency that operates under the guidance of the State Department, to build houses in Haiti after the 2010 earthquake. The OPIC supposedly promotes U.S. government investments abroad to foster the development and growth of free markets. Osorio’s “Haiti project” was supposed to build 500 homes for displaced families in the aftermath of the earthquake. The project never broke ground and Osorio used the money to finance his lavish lifestyle and fund his illicit business ventures. He also ran a fraudulent international company with facilities in the U.S., United Arab Emirates, Germany, Angola and Tanzania that stole millions from investors. Some of the OPIC Haiti money was used to repay investors of his fraudulent company (Innovida), according to federal prosecutors. In September 2013, Osorio was sentenced to 150 months imprisonment and three years of supervised release." -- Hey, what about the restitution of the $10,000,000.00?

---
You know..when either Clinton is out seeking contributions for their foundations, what they are really asking for is that these foreign despots chip in to their "Dough Nation".

---
Speaking of mainscream media polls...you know, just like in the Republican primaries, people who have not voted recently because they didn't think there was a hill-of-beans difference between Democrats and RINOs (and there isn't) came back into the cycle in record support of Trump. Wanna bet these people are not on the lists to be polled, and none of them are going to vote for Hellary...

---
Now we hear that Huma Abedin was listed as an assistant/associate editor of a radical Islamic publication run by her mother that advocated women to be subservient to men. To think such a person could be the advisor to a Secretary of State and become Chief-of-Staff in the White House.

---
Online story: "The state insurance department Tuesday approved an average premium increase of 21.4 percent for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Georgia for the 2017 health insurance exchange in Georgia.
 * HealthCare.gov Stock imageryThe company earlier had requested an average premium of 15.1 percent, but it raised the request in the wake of Aetna’s pullout from exchanges in Georgia and 10 other states last week.
* Blue Cross, the largest health insurer in the state, had told GHN late last week that it was considering upping its current premium proposal. * State insurance officials said Tuesday that Blue Cross was the only health insurer to request a new rate after Aetna’s move." --  A couple of weeks ago, I related the story about my bride's surgeon's woes of dealing with Blue Cross Blue Shield.. you know, that BCBS  owed his office over $400,000.00 in payments for covered services? Said then that BCBS had already increased its staff by I think about 400 people to handle OObamaCRAP paperwork.. now it looks like BCBS will be jacking up rates to cover more paperwork handlers.. You know, electing Trump will be bittersweet to some.. all these newly created "paperwork handling jobs" won't be necessary...and Mayor TomLYINGson will blame Trump and the tax freeze rather than rejoice in lower insurance rates.

---
Update.. remember the Bill Clinton appointed  federal judge.. Emmet G. Sullivan...who decided that Hellary would not have to testify under oath? Another judge has overridden his decision and Hellarty will have to do so.. this probe won't be over by General Election Day but her  activities will be in the headlines voters will take to the polls as they decide on who to vote for..

---
From the "did you hear what I heard" department - Online headline: "“Even Terrorists Have Rights And We Should Respect Them” Obama To American People" -- Huh! Of course, ZERO-bama feels that if these "illegal aliens" can get into the US, they should have "the right" to be recruited to the largest terrorist cell group in America,, the Democratic Party, and registered to vote.

---
Online headline: "Study recommends higher pay for Cobb County employees" -- Hmmm... and who hired the "study" group using $326,000 tax dollars... sorta like  children deciding Dad owes them a bigger allowance.

---
Online headline: "David Perdue on Johnny Isakson: ‘When did compromise become a dirty word?’ - In politics.. I'll tell you when.. when Republicans lowered moral standards to placate Democrats.

L-E headline/story: "Muscogee bus driver died of blunt force trauma in accident * the bus left the roadway. It traveled 187 feet with the right side on the grass shoulder and crossed the southbound lane of Garrett Road. * The bus went another 202 feet before stopping after crashing into a large tree, Columbus police said in a report." -- Excuse me.. but the bus traveled 389 feet. that's longer than a football plus the two end zones.. How fast was the bus traveling  that it couldn't stop sooner.. Surely the bus driver must have had some debilitating action that prohibited a safe stop. While we all pray for all the families affected.. this "scenario" just doesn't seem feasible..

---
Hellary Informed Voter's L-E "soundoff": "Trump hands out Play-Doh for 49 seconds on camera to aid flood victims. Did not know it was a survival product. My kind of guy." -- Typical Democrat "fact" .. Other than Trump and Pence were there over 4 hours, the lib making this stupid comment must not be a parent of small children.. I imagine all the parents were grateful that Trump thought enough of the situation to realize that providing some diversion for their children was a great help.. While Trump and Pence were tending peoiple's needs, Hellary was in California raising  Hollywood "pLAy Dough". Wonder how many White House "overnights" in the Lincoln bedroom were promised?

---
From the "let's make lemonade out of lemons in the headline" department - "MUSCOGEE COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT * Muscogee scores at least 11-year high on ACT" Good grief.. you have wait until the 4th paragraph before you get the truth.. "Muscogee, however, remains below the state average. Georgia’s composite score in 2016 is 21.1, surpassing the national average of 20.8. Georgia’s score increased by 0.1 point from 2015 while the national average decreased 0.2 points. Alabama’s average composite score for public school graduates decreased by 0.1 point from 18.8 in 2015 to 18.7 in 2016. The highest score possible is 36." - You know.. a  score of 19.4 will get you into most schools IF you are an athlete that a coach wants on a team, but getting into a good school isn't going to happen for regular students.

Oh, and now that it's been exposed, why isn't the fact that Mark Rice's wife is employed by the MCSD not being disclosed with his byline?

---
From the "when will stupidity cease in government programs" department - L-E headline: "In first, Feds sue Georgia for segregating students with disabilities * The State of Georgia is being sued by the U.S. Department of Justice because they say 4,600 students were improperly segregated from their general-education classmates." -- You know, if our schools performances weren't so bad without integrating special needs student into general classrooms, this still wouldn't be helpful.. How much lower would our student testing results be if teachers had to devote what little time they have toward students with learning disabilities which would slow down even further the an=mount of information that could be taught to other students?

L-E headline: "At Home backs out, Macy’s on ‘most at risk’ for closure list" -- Hmmm... wonder which Mall shooting made the difference?

Wednesday, August 24, 2016

Yesterday, I brought up how distasteful it was for some of our athletes to disrepect our flag while during the Olympic Medal Presentation ceremonies. Even added that I'd heard  that the athletes were given the option not to do so since that right was guaranteed by our 1st Amendment.. well, I don't think you'd see a military man/woman.. veteran or active.. who would do that and they are the people who have volunteered to protect the 1st Amendment for all of us.

---
The curtain closed on Ron Anderson.. I'm sure he was received in heaven by a standing "O".

---
The sad thing about ZERO-bama and Hellary ignoring Louisiana's plight is that neither thought they could win Louisiana in the general election. . You know,, presidents and presidential candidates are suppose to be the leader of all Americans.. and as we are instructed in the Bible, "Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of Mine, you did for Me.'.. Guess the "least: in New Jersey following Sandy's havoc, were less "least" than the least in Louisiana.

---
1000s and 1000s of condemning e-mails from Hellary's term as Secretary of State are coming to light. Why is more than one needed to spur the DOJ into action?

---
How can political analysts look at Trump and think he's "too risky" versus the certain risk of Hellary ?

---
Biden's in Europe assuring our allies that they'll continue being our friends but at the same time belittling Trump... huh? You know, this just demonstrates why the world no longer feels the ZERO-bama administration is trustworthy.

---
It's our "Our sacred honor"?.. That's what Biden said to our European allies..goid grief..how do our allies feel about following ZERO-bama's assurances that taking in Islamic refugees was the right thing to do?

---
From the "when is Governor Brown going to start... and especially finish that wall" department: The City of Richmond, CA has come to the conclusion that paying criminals "to be good" is a solution...good grief, maybe the National Parks Service should send them videos on what happens when you feed the bear just enough to get by on then run out at the next feeding time?

And as Margaret Thatcher explained it so succinctly, "'The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.'

---
Hey...what's happened to the Ashley Madison scandal? Will revealing one of its clients be an October surprise, or has an "offer you can't refuse" been made... My bet is on a Clinton offer...and with the number of bodies that turn up on their paths, I imagine somebody took that offer.

---
Trump went to the state of LA and , along with food and needed supplies, distributed Play-doh to children who needed cheering up.. Hellary went to California's LA and made a "play" for "LA dough".

---
Hmmm..you have to wonder if even Bernie might be kicking himself about leaving Hellary's e-mail scandals out of the debate agenda.

---
After hearing Gary Johnson on Fox's 'The Five', I think he's more aligned with Hellary and Bernie than conservatism, and could have won the Democratic nomination.

---
'Libertarian'..( my ass) Gary Johnson says he was a Republican Governor who got elected and re-elected in Democratic state. No, he might be a Progressive RINO, but definitely not a conservative.

---
Some 1500 American rafters were wind-blown into Canadian waters . Canada assisted them, then put them on buses, and sent them. Hmmm,.that's an efficient deportation program...can a wall be next?

---
Looks like ISIS use of children to deliver explosive devices may be overtaking the North Vietnam regimes use of children grenade carriers back in the 60s/70s.

---
No longer can Fox claim to be "fair and balanced"...in a panel discussion, Charles Krauthammer literally stated Trump was the weakest Republican candidate Hellary could be running against. Huh? Trump flattened 16 Republican wannabees because voters wanted a choice between Hellary and those other 16 offered none. If Trump wasn't the candidate, there would be no choice for the voters.

---
Pundits claim that Trumps attack on Hellary's honesty isn't having an affect on her numbers....huh? These are the numbers Hellary will get to vote for her no matter how corrupt she is...or will get..Trump is making sure those numbers don't grow.

---
I've about had it with Fox analysts.. they keep trying to tell Trump how to run his campaign, but when you get down to the two aspects that really matter, you basically have Trump running for president, and TV analysts are just running their mouths.

---
From the "history often repeats itself" department - Online headline: "Carter will vote for 'quite unpopular' Clinton" -- Hmmm as opposed to the "popular" Clinton, Bill? Anyway, Carter has a record of voting for the
"unpopular" candidate.. shoot in 1980 he even voted for himself when he could have voted for Reagan.... and let's not even go near Mondale, Dukakis, Gore or Kerry.

---
From the "spare us the details...please" department: A small, nearby town across the river had its mayoral election yesterday.. Bubba beat Buster for the title.. doesn't that sound more like a headline you see for a report on last nights' wrasselin' results"?

---
Hellary Informed Voter's L-E "soundoff": "So “men don’t like Hillary?” Insecure men have always been afraid of strong, intelligent women." -- Hmmm... maybe some men are intimidated by "strong, intelligent women", but that doesn't explain Hellary at all. What attracts men is strong, intelligent women who are confident in their feminity.

---
Just curious, but with troop size being pared down, why are they opening a new elementary school on Ft Benning?

---
The loss of David Pollard was indeed tragic.. but his life's value should not be blurred by misdirected anger.. and greedy lawyers...please discontinue this futile effort of grief.

---
L-E story: "Columbus Council voted unanimously Tuesday to delay a decision to order an internal audit of Sheriff John Darr’s operations and finances and seek an estimate on what it would cost to hire a private auditor." -- Hmm..Interesting... Darr wants it and the Mayor doesn't.. whatever the cost, it will be cheaper than taxpayers "feeding" Mayor TomLYINGson's legal friends.. Of course, Council doesn't want an audit that would show Darr's budget is valid, and have to run for re-election with voters knowing how much money has been wasted. Oh, and let's do it fast before the General Election date. Darr deserves this.

---
From the "(yawn) let's put this front page story on page 10 instead" department - L-E story: "At least 85 of 154 people from private interests who met or had phone conversations scheduled with Clinton while she led the State Department donated to her family charity or pledged commitments to its international programs, according to a review of State Department calendars released so far to The Associated Press. Combined, the 85 donors contributed as much as $156 million." -- Hmmm.. Makes any other plea for justice in other areas by the L-E seem sorta hypocritical... no, a lot hypocritical.

HuffPOOPOO headline: "Dog Elected Mayor Of Cormorant, Minnesota -- Again" -- Oooops... my bad.. it's a Great Pyrenees.. I thought it would be a typical "yellow dig Democrat"...on the other hand, it must be nice to have a flea bitten mayor who doesn't know how to lie.

---
Online story: "Former President Jimmy Carter said Monday that he put on "a false, optimistic face" for months after he was diagnosed with skin cancer, telling fellow Habitat for Humanity workers that when he got the news last year, "I just thought I had a few weeks to live." -- Guess he'd forgotten he has retired presidential/Congressional healthcare, not OObamaCRAP.

---
Online headline: "CNN nabs ex-Fox News political analyst Kirsten Powers" -- Good grief.. CNN hired her away from Fox versus Alan Colmes or Juan Williams or Jemu Greene? Wonder why Fox didn't just throw in those three to CNN as a bonus.

From the "truth of the matter" department - Online Colin Powell/Hellary story: ""Her people have been trying to pin it on me ... The truth is, she was using [the private email server] for a year before I sent her a memo telling her what I did," Powell told People on Saturday." -- Whoa! "her people have been trying to pin it on me"? "her people"?. hmmm... bet this is not the end of this story

HuffPOOPOO headline: "John Kerry Warns South Sudan: Stick To The Peace Deal Or Face Sanctions" -- Huh.. speak wimply but carry a big sanction? I do believe the Kerry translation of Teddy Roosevelt's memorable message has been lost over the last century.

L-E headline/story: "Driver dies, students hospitalized after bus crash * The driver died and all seven students were taken to a hospital after a Muscogee County School District bus crashed Monday morning *  M***** C***, 9, was airlifted to another hospital, Word said. L**** S****** and M***** L******, both 5, remain at Midtown Medical Center in stable condition, and the four other students — 5-year-olds R***** D***** and J***** S*****, 6-year-old T**** T******* and 9-year-old C****** S***** — were treated and released, Word said. The nature of their injuries wasn’t released." -- We all grieve at the death of the driver and injuries to the children, but let's look at this from a different perspective.. why are 5 and 6 year olds riding buses to school? One of the ills the schools.. and students.. suffer from is the disconnect between families and teachers/schools. Wouldn't putting the responsibility back on the family to get their children to school be of benefit to the whole family .. and improve the relationships with the students' teachers? I remember substitute teaching at Columbus Jr High in 1976/77. One of my first classes was a general math class for 8th graders.. I was amazed at the low level of remedial math they were on, and as I was walking around the classroom as they were doing some math sheets on division, I noticed one that was skipping every 2nd or 3rd problem.. I stopped and pointed that out.. his response was that "the teacher said I could skip those because I can't do those problems with 2 or 3 numbers in the divisor..his classmate quickly confirmed that, and I went back to the desk to look at the regular teacher's "student notes for substitutes", and sure enough, that was written beside this student's name. I went back to that student, and told him "you and I are going to solve a couple of these..we struggled through the first one but guiding him to solve it ended in success.. he sat up straighter in his desk.. we tackled the next one applying what he just had experienced for himself.. he slowly tackled each step, and solved it without any intervention from me... he lit up like a light bulb. During my "planning period", I went and talked to the principal about the situation, and got the student's home phone number. I called it, and after confirming I had reached his mother, I "suggested" she make an appointment with the principal and teacher when she returned and straighten this out. She said she would.. but then she blew me away.. she asked where the school was.. he rode the bus for nearly 2 years and she had no clue where the school was.

Let's bring back neighborhood school assignments and make all the schools better!  and get rid of most of the busing!

Reminisced a bit last night..it was a slow Monday TV night, so I flipped over and watched some LL World Series action. I remember the dream.. also remember playing baseball up until Labor Day before starting school on that Tuesday afterwards. What happened to letting boys be boys?

Ryan Locte losing his endorsement contracts is a good start...now what about all the medal winners who embarrassed the USA by publicly disrespecting our country by not saluting our flag as the National Anthem was played.

---
I'm not sure if I heard this right, but I picked up on a conversation about the non-salute issue, and remember someone (though not sure it was an official of the USOC) saying that the American athletes were told they could exercise heir 1st Amendment rights as to whether they saluted or not..wait a minute.. when America is picking up the tab, theses athletes have an obligation to represent America to the best of their abilities in everything the world sees.

Online story: "Newly released emails reveal more instances of the Clinton Foundation appearing to reach out to then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s State Department for favors involving wealthy donors – including Crown Prince Salman of Bahrain – according to a watchdog group that fought to obtain the emails *  the messages show Clinton aide Huma Abedin “provided influential Clinton Foundation donors special, expedited access to the secretary of state.” The documents include exchanges not previously turned over to the State Department. *  The exchange involving the crown prince of Bahrain occurred in June 2009. *  A statement released Monday by the court of the crown prince said his $32 MILLION dollar pledge "happened years before. 2005, and was wholly unrelated to any meeting with Secretary Clinton.‎" -- Good grief.. when the Godfather did you a favor, he expected a favor in return once you were in position to do him some good. Looks like the Crown Prince of Bahrain was calling in his favor now the Hellary was Secretary of State.

While driving by Lakebottom Park yesterday, I noted several trucks and crews performing tree service on the rights of way on Cherokee Avenue. As I rode by, I noted there were private sector trucks (Strickland Tree Service). Wait a minute, it wasn't too long ago that the City bought its own stump grinder, and a new cherry picker truck that had a 100' reach.. Why is the City using private sector services when the City has its own equipment and an arborist on the payroll?

If mainscream media were really concerned about politicians' morals, mainscream media would not have time to go after anyone else if it looked into  Hellary.

LBJ's "Great Society..War on Poverty" was the first blow AGAINST the black community... think about what happen to fathers in black families when the Democrat programs started giving checks for each baby born of out -of-wedlock to single teen girls.

When you're in the Columbus area ..and are truly hungry for something other than fast-food, you have to locate and visit Ed's in Phenix City (or Columbus). How can you not be lured in by " You haven't been fed, until you eat at Ed's".. this is a personal endorsement as my bride, myself, and numerous family members are loyal fans of Ed's, and eat there and use Ed's catering to as well.

Hellary Informed Voter's L-E "soundoff": "Speaking of poor judgment, Trump has gotten rid of two campaign managers and just hired a racist CEO for his campaign." -- "poor judgement"? Real poor judgement is not firing people when they are proven to not be qualified to get the job done.. Now, why hasn't ZERO-bama fired Lynch fro the DOJ and Comey from the FBI, and why hasn't Hellary fired Huma Abedin and Anthony Weiner? And speaking of "real poor judgement", why didn't voters "fie" Pat Hugley Green and Cathy Williams from the MCSB when it had the chance?

A Columbus icon, Ron Anderson, actor/mentor at the Springer Opera House, has been moved to Hospice.. Ron has been inspirational to so many people in so many ways, but especially following his diagnosis of inoperable Stage 4 pancreatic cancer 2 years ago.. Guess God is ready to finally bring him home, but who knows.. God kept him here for us a lot longer than anyone expected.. He may have plans we can't comprehend.. either way, we'll miss Ron Anderson.

Online headline/story: "Trump protestors turn violent and even spit on donors at fundraiser *  Social media video and images show protestors pushing, shouting and even spitting on donors who attended the fundraiser at the city's convention center. * Witnesses say attackers targeted Trump supporters, including elderly women, with punches and garbage." -- "Trump protestors"?  No,,, Hellary supporters!  You know, This not only demonstrates Hellary's lack of leadership, it puts the exclamation point on her desperation! Let's face it, even if you were leaning towards voting against Trump, do you really want to be associated with what Hellary has incited?

---
Talk about public service political bias and descrimination! NYC's Police Commissioner William Bratton is resigning/retiring soon. Recently, he denied Trump an opportunity to address the NYPD officers following the killing of 5 police officers in Dallas. Now, upon his retirement, Bratton is taking over a security department with a Clinton connected company.

Looks like Princeton is going the PC way even more than Harvard..Harvard will allow women's clubs to exclude men under certain circumstances, but men's clubs do not get the same options. Nos Princeton is "de-manning" descriptive words..no more " FreshMEN", now all first year students will be referred to as "First Year Students"...etc, etc, etc. Now isn't it really a slur, a bully situation, a classest act to put down a person's worth by referring to them as lowly "First Year Students"?

---
Watched the medal presentation for the women's 4 X 100 relay team show Saturday night after they won on Friday,, Only one of the 4 women saluted our flag as it was hoisted during the playing of our National Anthem. Has anyone seen any of our non-black athletes snub the flag during the Olympic games/presentations? . It is disgraceful.. it's even worse than ZERO-bama's "Apology Tour"... or him getting the Nobel Peace Prize..In the future, our Olympic Committee should screen out all athletes who won't agree to respecting our flag.. and protocol.. These are ambassadors representing all Americans, I am tired of such  behavior.

Deonn Carter.. a gentle man of 31.. autistic .. was unexplainably shot about 2 weeks ago retrieving the mail..passed Saturday.. I did not know him , but had observed his joyful and gentle ways when shopping at the River Road Piggly Wiggly on occasion. There's a special place in Hell for his murderer(s).

Hellary Informed voter's L-E "soundoff": "If The Donald really cares about the American middle class as he claims, why doesn’t he send about $100,000,000 of his billions to help with the flooding victims in Baton Rouge?"  -- And why hasn't Hellary done so for her foundations' ample fundings... or for that matter, why hasn't Hellary and ZERO-bama bothered to "be there"?

---
From the L-E's "Today in History" feature (for August 21st): "In 1959, President Dwight D. Eisenhower signed an executive order making Hawaii the 50th state." -- Good grief.. a Republican made it possible for ZERO-bama to be elected president.. Let's see, Republicans freed all the slaves, and another enabled a black man to rise to the presidency.. what have Democrats done... oh, yeah, enslaved many blacks within the government system of perpetual poverty..

L-E headline: "St. Anne-Pacelli expands its dual enrollment program * As part of the state’s Move On When Ready program, Pacelli students may take CSU social studies courses and Georgia Military College math courses for the first time this year." -- The MCSD lost a gem when Ronnie Collins left to take over the St. Anne-Pacelli  systems. Of course, working with a system that has a goal of student success  is its own reward.

L-E op-ed headline: "Ceremonial school board does children, public no service * BY FIFE M. WHITESIDE Special to the Ledger-Enquirer:

http://digital.olivesoftware.com/Olive/ODN/LedgerEnquirer/default.aspx

It's nice to see an opinion of the MCSB situation that hasn't been tempered by a writer who's wife works for the MCSD. L-E school beat writer Mark Rice, on the other hand, has denied reporting of the bullying atmosphere that his wife works in as a school secretary.  It's also a shame that local businesses have supported the continuance of board members that have failed .. even elongated the period of failure .. of most of our schools.

Online headline: "Clinton campaign still searching for a stand-in Trump for debate prep" -- Yikes.. that'll be tough considering Hellary has to find someone loyal to her that is neither a sycophant nor a liar.

Online headline:  "Trump Pisses Off The ENTIRE State Of Louisiana By Delivering ‘Play-Doh’ Instead Of Food " -- The Democrats are pathetic.. rather than thank Trump-Pence for being on the ground encouraging 1000s of displaced American families while their leaders played golf and raised donations for themselves. Trump-Pence should be praised for his insight at including Play-doh with his much neededsupplies. Many parents were grateful that they got something for their children to play with to divert the trauma of the situation.. What child doesn't love Play-doh?

Local high school football kicks off full speed this weekend.. My alma mater faces Jordan at Kinnett Stadium on Friday night.. I'm interested in seeing the new look since I haven't been to a game since the new artificial turf was installed.. I am concerned, tough, that it seems the turf used is similar (if not the same) to the turf at the Hall of Fame game arena which got canceled because deterioration made the surface unsafe for play. Anyone know if this is the same material?

Online headline/story: "Donald Trump to black voters: 'What the hell do you have to lose?'  *  "guaranteed" that, if elected, he would win more than 90 percent of the African-American vote at the end of four years in office.  * "No group in America has been more harmed by Hillary Clinton's policies than African Americans," he began. "Tonight, I'm asking for the vote of every single African-American citizen in this country who wants to see a better future." -- Amen! I remember a 1990 race for a GA State Reps position that was going on during my own campaign... Margaret Jenkins... a lifelong Democrat, changed from being a Democrat to run as a Republican. Margaret Jenkins was a dynamo in the black community (still is). I remember her passionate plea as she reminded voters of that fact and she ran as a Republican based on all the unkept promises of the Democrat Party during her lifetime. Two weeks before the election, a district poll showed her with a 60%-40%  lead, Then,, old politics jumped in... on Sunday before the election, the pulpit "recommendations" and flyers went out with bloc voting "instructions"  , and the Democrat candidate won by a 4-to-1 ratio.. needless to say, nothing got changed.

From above story: "Hillary Clinton was quick to respond to Trump's comments in Michigan, saying, "This is so ignorant it's staggering."  - Is it, Hellary? This nation has spent some $22 TRILLION dollars over the past 50  years on programs created by LBJ's "Great Society, War on Poverty" . Other than a current $19 Trillion dollar National Debt, what do we really have to show for it?

----
Can you believe that the governor of Louisiana actually said he did not welcome Trumo and Pence to come down to the Baton Rouge area?  Of course, in true Democrat form, the governor did say Trump could write him a big check.. Like Margaret Jenkins and Donald Trump would think, what have the Democrats done for them?

---
Online story: "Democratic Party presidential candidate Hillary Clinton does not need to give sworn testimony in a lawsuit brought by a conservative watchdog group over her use of an unauthorized private email system while she was U.S. secretary of state, a judge ruled on Friday. * Clinton must instead respond in writing within 30 days to questions submitted by Judicial Watch, a group that has long been critical of her conduct and which is suing the Department of State over Clinton-era records. *  Judge Emmet Sullivan's ruling in U.S. District Court in Washington is likely to be a relief to Democrats, who did not welcome the prospect of Clinton having to submit to hours of questioning by lawyers in the middle of her campaign".. Good grief.. when is any testimony in a lawsuit not under oath? Though what I'm about to reveal will not really shock anyone, I'm pretty sure you've already surmised that Judge Sullivan was appointed by Bill Clinton in 1994. You know, Judge Sullivan not  only should have recused himself, but he ought now be impeached.

Hellary says she followed General/Secretary of State Colin Powell's advice on using private/personal e-mail.. General Powell showed he might actually have been more influenced by Hellary than vice versa.. Powell said, in true Hellary form, that he had "no recollection" of such a conversation.

One of the benefits of "the Freeze" is that it allows owners to hire contractors to fix up their home to suit their needs without raising their own taxes. You do this to tailor your home to your family needs because you're not looking to move.. If the Freeze is "melted", improving your home will raise your taxes which will increase your daily living expenses. Then, home owners will decide not to make improvements, so contractors and subcontractors will not be called. Then, those skilled workers will have to sell their homes on which they've made personal improvements at a loss. A "yes"vote is a potential death stroke to family security. Vote NO!

Online headline/story: "Surging DeKalb property values cause higher taxes * Residential real property assessments are up 17 percent in DeKalb, 11 percent in Clayton, 10 percent in Fulton, 7 percent in Cobb and 6 percent in Gwinnett, according to preliminary figures. *  Deborah Sunday of Brookhaven will face even larger tax hikes than most of her neighbors. Sunday’s property tax bill rose by $1,321 last year, and by another $550.00 this year after her home’s assessment increased from $409,000 to $534,400 to $570,000, according to county property records." -- Below is the link to Ms. Sunday's property tax assessments The first one is current, . What government does not care about is that even though the property has arbitrarily "risen" in value, it's worth no more to Ms Sunday while she's living in it, and she has less dollars to maintain her property.. each year, so if she wants to sell it in 10 years , at the current rate of tax increases, she will be losing $44,000 plus dollars to keep it sales worthy at that time. Unlike government, Ms Sunday does not have the ability to create a "SPLOST to raise revenues to fix or replace her home.

Ms Sunday's taxes have escalated from $5,444 in 2014 to $6,744 in 2015 to $7,294 this year.. This is what can, and WILL happen if the Freeze is voted off.

How can any one..even Hellary herself claim the FBI declared her innocent...what the FBI said was that it was not going to charge her with specific crimes because Comey didn't believe she had "INTENTIONALLY" broken the law. First, since when is ignorance of a law an acceptable excuse. Secondly, any one, especially a lawyer, generally knows when their actions are illegal.

You know, if a new referendum were on the ballot directing that all the Lottery revenues be sent to K-12 education versus colleges, , K-12 would probably improve, and college education costs would drop drastically as there would be no need to remedial classes/professors, and oddball degrees would be dropped.

L-E headline/story: "Death row inmate loses appeal * Leon Tollette was sentenced in 1997 and 19 years later, his pleas for appeal fail. * Leon Tollette was appealing only the death penalty a jury gave him, as he pleaded guilty to killing Brinks guard John Hamilton during a robbery on Dec. 21, 1995, when Tollette approached Hamilton from behind and shot him four times, once in the head, and fled with the money bag Hamilton had. * Finally Robert Oliver, a police officer accompanied by a cadet, confronted Tollette, who tried to shoot at Oliver, too, but had no more live rounds in his revolver. He dropped the gun and surrendered.  *  Tollette never went to trial for the crime itself. Instead, he pleaded guilty Nov. 3, 1997, to murder, armed robbery, being a convicted felon with a firearm, using a firearm to commit a crime and two counts of aggravated assault. * He had only a sentencing trial for a jury to decide whether he should get life with parole, life without parole or death. On Nov. 11, 1997, jurors sentenced him to death. * He since has filed repeated appeals claiming ineffective assistance of counsel and numerous procedural errors." -- Caught red-handed.. AND with gun in hand trying to cause more death, and some judge allowed an appeal based on "ineffective assistance of counsel"? Good grief.. the (_*_) played his cards about pleading guilty in hopes a jury might have sympathy since he confessed he was guilty as hell. , and we've been paying for boarding him for 19 years and feeding his attorneys,,And liberals are confused why felons aren't scared of being arrested? A certain death will do more to creating the "fear of death" before a criminal kills to begin with.

You know, the basic difference between a legal held and a non-legally held gun, is that the owner of a legally held gun feels empowered to protect his/her family/self, while the possessor of an illegally held gun feel empowered to cause crimes. It ain't the guns....

L-E story: "During the recent meeting between Sheriff John Darr and Columbus Council to discuss budget overruns in the sheriff’s office, Councilor Skip Henderson said it was good to see everyone “pull on the same end of the rope.”" --  Since the real issue is about budget overruns caused by federal court.. maybe state, too, mandates for prisoner health issues, then the only reason Mayor TomLYINGson has for hitting on Darr is that she wants someone else to be sheriff, and she can;t just fire him. TomLYINGson is the real issue here.. perhaps a recall is due.

L-E headline: "Georgia unemployment rate takes a dip during July" -- Of course unemployment "takes a dip during July".. part time and summer jobs for teens and other to fill in for full timers' vacation time, and businesses connected to the rush of summer users need them..check back in September when these temp jobs stop.

L-E editorial comment: "The sound of the rapids on the Chattahoochee between Columbus and Phenix City is drowning out the hecklers. A nice sound already, that makes it an especially sweet one. * We all know the hecklers. We know some of them by name." -- "them"? heh heh heh...guess I do sound like an army at times because I have big bullets to unload.

You know, even the Columbus Black Rodeo could make a profit if it didn't have to pay for using the publicly owned Civic Center.. that's basically what Whitewater Express is getting by using the Chattahoochee course paid for by mostly tax dollars.

Earlier this week, I posted the following in response to a roe]s-tainted view published by the L-E.. The L-E calls it cynicism because it can't pick the facts apart:
L-E story:"Chattahoochee River, outfitter Whitewater Express is closing in on its 100,000 rafter. * They are running a contest from now until the milestone customer runs the river. Called “Play 4 1K,” everyone who rafts the river will be signed up for a raffle in which one person will win $1,000 in a drawing after the goal is hit, which should be in late September. * Through last weekend, more than 95,000 people have gone down the 2.5-mile run since Memorial Day Weekend 2013 when the nearly $25 million-project opened to the public." -- Hmmm... Let's see,, 100,000.00 users at say about $50.00 a pop equals $5,000,000.00 in revenues for Whitewater Express.. Whitewater Express pays our two city governments a fee of 3.5% (there are no state or city LOST/SPLOST/Sales taxes collected. From that $5,000,000.00, a total of $175,000.00 is split.. SPLIT (though haven't seen "per city" amounts).. between Columbus and Phenix City.. there's been an "investment by some public donations and mostly GA and Columbus tax dollars of $25,000.000.00 to build this arena. That means the total Return On Investment for the two cities is .007 percent.. Ask your retirement advisor how long that percent of return would it take to make your nest egg investment to pay off for you.
You know.. you'd think the L-E would be aware of expenses to revenue issues.. The L-E let it's office building go to pot before getting bailed out by CSU's Foundation buying it for more than should have been paid..
