From the L-E's "Today in History" feature: "In 1787, the Constitution of the United States was completed and signed by a majority of delegates attending the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia." -- With a few tweaks to accommodate changes in attitudes, this document has served this nation well for 229 years. It is the longest form of government outline  in recorded history. Too bad libs, led by ZERO-bama and Hellary, want to dismantle the spine of it by eliminating true free speech, eliminate the rights of citizens to protect their family from evil (and from government oppression), and strip the sacred privilege of citizens to be the only people who can vote. Keep the Constitution effective..Vote Trump!

Online headline/story: "Mark Cuban offers Donald Trump $10 million for one-on-one interview with 'no one else in the room to help' *  In a series of tweets, Cuban said he would pay the GOP presidential nominee $10 million for four hours of his time to discuss Trump's "policies and their substance." *  "Ground rules are that you can't mention the Clintons or discuss anything other than the details and facts of your plans," Cuban tweeted. "And no one else is in the room to help. Just me, you and a broadcast crew. Deal?"" -- Good grief.. Trump should accept (with donation to Veterans) under the condition that Cuban make the same deal with Hellary connected to a truth detector and  asking questions submitted Trump.

---
Hellary asked us to imagine someone who distorts the truth...I'd just ask Hellary to just look in a mirror.

---
Brown University is offering in-state tuition to illegal aliens ...but not to aliens legally admitted to the US..don't you know legal aliens will be lying on their applications?

---
Can you believe Hellary and her minions are smug with saying they expected the polls to be where they are today? Heck, 2 years ago, Hellary was planning her coronation schedule as she speculated a RINO like Jeb would be the competition. Then she ran into Bernie and now Trump who have no respect for establishment politics, and Hellary cannot handle it.

---
Trump's "comb-haired" performance on Jimmy Kimmel's show made Hellary fume..Last month she drew luke-warm response to opening a jar of pickles, yet chastised Trump for being such a good sport at having his hair mussed. Wonder what she thought when Slick Willie discussed his underwear or played his saxophone on TV.

---
You know...why is mainscream media trying to pin the "birther" issue on Trump...well, on any Republican for that matter.. Like the "Willie Horton" issue in '88 that wore Dukakis' image down..that came out of the AlGore camp, and the "birther" issue came from Hellary supporters, just as was her supporter base pushing ZERO-bama's Muslim faith.

---
I learned something new yesterday..At the Trump event yesterday, military hero after hero took the mike and proffered their uncompromised support for Donald Trump, but I knew that. What I didn't know was that half of the deployed in the middle-east were from our National Guard and Reserve units. I also learned that the VA doesn't recognize them as veterans. That's wrong..and Trump is committed to straighten this out!

---
Trump really took the steam out of Hellary's spinmeisters with his one sentence statement vilifying the Hellary 2008 campaign assault on Obama and his bringing birther issue to a halt in 2011. The 'Fox Contributers' were livid because there was no room for them to twist his words.

---
The Hellary campaign is in hysterics at having the breath of their birther issue knocked out of them. They have tried their best to make Trump responsible for David Duke's endorsement spiel yet want to deny Hellary should be responsible for the actions of groups working on her behalf.

One of our BCers reminded me of something.. Congressman Sanford Bishop is running for re-election yet remarkably silent on the bleeding this community is suffering with Ft Benning being downsized in forces, personnel and importance. Is he that ineffective or perhaps he really doesn't care about protecting the military and Fort Benning... and Columbus? What's that adage... Actions speek louder than words?

---
Another BCer reminded me of the influence Hellary had over Cabinet nominations Slick Willie made.. It's interesting as she is naming people she would nominate for her own cabinet.  Let's look back a bit..

When Bill Clinton was president, he allowed Hillary to assume authority over an attempt to health care reform. Even after threats and intimidation, she
couldn't get a vote in a Democrat controlled US Congress. This fiasco cost the American taxpayers about $13 million for studies, promotion, and other
efforts.

Then, President Clinton gave Hillary authority over selecting a female attorney general. Her first two selections were Zoe Baird and Kimba Wood -
both were forced to withdraw their names from consideration.

Next, she chose Janet Reno - husband Bill described her selection as "my worst mistake."

Some may not remember that Reno made the decision to gas David Koresh and the Branch Davidian religious sect in Waco, Texas resulting in dozens of
deaths of women and children.

Husband Bill allowed Hillary to make recommendations for the head of the Civil Rights Commission. Lani Guanier was her selection.  When a little probing led to the discovery of Ms. Guanier's radical views, her name had to be withdrawn from consideration.

Apparently a slow learner, husband Bill allowed Hillary to make some more recommendations. She chose former law partners Web Hubbel for the Justice
Department, Vince Foster for the White House staff, and William Kennedy for the Treasury Department.

Her selections went well: Hubbel went to prison, Foster (presumably) committed suicide, and Kennedy was forced to resign.

Many younger voters will have no knowledge of "Travelgate." Hillary wanted to award unfettered travel contracts to Clinton friend Harry Thompson - and the White House Travel Office refused to comply. She managed to have them reported to the FBI and fired. This ruined their reputations, cost them their jobs, and caused a thirty-six month investigation. Only one employee, Billy Dale was charged with a crime, and that of the enormous crime of mixing personal and White House funds. A jury acquitted him of any crime in less than two hours.

Still not convinced of her ineptness, Hillary was allowed to recommend a close Clinton friend, Craig Livingstone, for the position of Director of White House security.  When Livingstone was investigated for the improper access of about 900 FBI files of Clinton enemies (Filegate) and the widespread use of drugs by White House staff, suddenly Hillary and the
president denied even knowing Livingstone, and of course, denied knowledge of drug use in the White House.

Following this debacle, the FBI closed its White House Liaison Office after more than thirty years of service to seven presidents.

Next, when women started coming forward with allegations of sexual harassment and rape by Bill Clinton, Hillary was put in charge of the "bimbo
eruption" and scandal defense. Some of her more notable decisions in the debacle were:

She urged her husband not to settle the Paula Jones lawsuit.  After the Starr investigation they settled with Ms. Jones.

She refused to release the Whitewater documents, which led to the appointment of Ken Starr as Special Prosecutor.

After $80 million dollars of taxpayer money was spent, Starr's investigation led to Monica Lewinsky, which led to Bill lying about and later admitting his affairs.   Hillary's devious game plan resulted in Bill
losing his license to practice law for 'lying under oath' to a grand jury and then his subsequent impeachment by the House of Representatives.

Hillary avoided indictment for perjury and obstruction of justice during the Starr investigation by repeating, "I do not recall," "I have no recollection," and "I don't know" a total of 56 times while under oath.

After leaving the White House, Hillary was forced to return an estimated $200,000 in White House furniture, china, and artwork that she had stolen.

What a swell person - ready for another four or eight years of this low-life fool?

Now we are exposed to the unsecured keeping and attempted destruction of beyond Top Secret emails while Hillary was US Secretary of State and the "pay to play" schemes of the Clinton Foundation. What "shoe will fall" next?

But to her loyal fans:  "What difference does it make?"  She's our Liar-in-Chief.

HuffPOOPOO "headLIE": "Donald Trump Suggests Hillary Clinton's Bodyguards Should Stop Protecting Her" -- WRONG.. Trump suggested that gun control Hellary disarm her Secret Service body guards..

L-E story: "In 1988, a 16-year-old (Mark) Wahlberg hit a Vietnamese man in the head with a stick while trying to steal alcohol and punched another in the face while trying to avoid police. * Wahlberg said he was high at the time. He served about 45 days in jail. * Wahlberg apologized and said he has dedicated himself to becoming a better person so he could be a role model and raised millions of dollars for charity." -- You know.. why isn't the L-E complaining about Wahlberg "raising money" for charity instead of giving it from his own pocket.. the L-E seems to have adopted that attitude about Trump...hmmm... you know, the L-E knows where all the Clinton Foundation Funds come from but give credit to the Clintons for it.. hypoctites!

From the "Hitting the nail on the head" department -  L-E soundoff" : "Jim Blanchard tells us to vote against our self-interest on the matter of the tax freeze. That is another elitist telling us what is best for us. Vote no if you can think for yourself." --  Yep.. pretty sad when he just got a sweetheart deal on the tax assessment of his home he bought in 2015 for $725K yet it's only assessed at $557K. That's a discount of no taxes on $168,000 to either the City or the MCSD. Oh, yeah.. it'll be "frozen".

From the "What's right with this picture?" department - L-E political cartoon:

The folks in the basket are correct!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

L-E guest editorial headline: "Let Gary Johnson join the debates * BY RON NIELSON * Los Angeles Times" -- Hmmm seems the L-E  is disappointed in Hellary but just will not admit it honestly... guess Hellary penchant to not tell the truth rubs off on all liberals.
