No wonder our kids seem uninformed/misinformed in history, geography and politics..During an update on Tropical Storm Hermine, the Fox announcer handed the feed off to a weather man on "St. SIMMONS" Island, GA and the weather man referenced GA's governor as "Gov. DEAN".

Think about it...as a business man or president, is it more efficient to fly in for a head-to-head 2-3 hour meeting , or take an entourage of 100s and I set up state dinners and such over a 2 or 3 day period?

You know, since residential value is pretty much determined by a 20% - 80% factor for land/structure for insurance value, shouldn't total value of tax assessments be on the value of the land only since structures vary depending on owner tastes?

One Fox anchor reported a poll that about 80% of Americans didn't want illegals deported.. then he said, and I'm not sure if it was "poll commentary" or something he made up, but that it was because "we don't have enough Americans for the jobs they do"? Good grief.. we have close to (or more) than 100 MILLION adults who aren't working! Besides, since people are complaing about "low wages", wages would rise naturally with fewer people willing to do those jobs.

You know, when the Jaguars scored their 4th quarter TD against the Falcons
and went for the 2-point play, it demonstrated what we already knew.. the
players are in it for themselves.. by going for two points, the Jaguars insured
there would be no overtime.. as it was, the Jaguars made it a 17-15 game, but
even if the play was stopped, the score would have been 17-13, that too,
insuring a field goal would not tie up the game.
