Tucker Carlson.. you have to admit that Tucker Carlson doesn't backtrack from intolerant liberals about tolerances.  Jorge Ramos was extolling that America is "our country" and "not theirs,"( Trump voters/whites). The National Science Foundation has 1700 employees and is funded by taxpayers to the tune of over $7.4 BILLION dollars... Congress gived them the money basically without control. Last year, the NSF funded a study of whether cheerleaders are more attractive as individuals or when in groups.. Inquiring minds did not need such info.

Whoa.. the budget for Fiscal 2016-2017 has been RAISED.. to $7.9 BILLION.. what (as if we didn't know) are the boys at the National Science Foundation smoking.. what was Obama smoking?

NSF charts do not show individual awards so we cannot see what "wasteful" projects are included.. hopefully more transparency will be the rule in the Trump years.

Interesting...Pelosi felt compelled to have the 100 page House Bill read to her fellow Democrats that will replace OObamaCRAP. Interesting in that if Pelosi tried to read the original 2400+ OObamaCRAP to her fellow Democrats, most would have left or fallen asleep and there wouldn't have been a quorum left/awake to pass it.

The only true healthcare reform that will truly work is for insurance be totally between insurance companies and their customers. Hospitals and Doctors do not need to be in the mix. Insurance companies would use statistics of probability to determine a range of customer needs, and have their "customers" negotiate Dr/Hospital costs for needed procedures without said Dr/Hospital knowing where the payment is coming from.

The honor was not for "Excellence" but "progress".. that means we have 34 out of 37 schools that DID NOT show meaningful "progress".. This is unacceptable by any standards. We cannot allow our school system to rest on their elbows..

Tonight's the night.. two stellar Columbus, GA girls basketball teams square off for the GA 4A State Championship game... in Atlanta.. talk about a missed opportunity to showcase a sellout crowd at our Civic Center.. surely, the GHSAA could see the merit in playing this game in Columbus.

LIV's L-E "soundoff": "So glad to hear that our illustrious leaders are building a roundabout on River Road for a million dollars. Apparently, they haven’t received the data on the difficulty trucks and seniors have with them." -- While the "soundoffer" is right on the money about the ills this "roundabout" will create for large trucks.. especially "logging trucks", he/she's not "right on the MONEY". Last year, the estimated costs were already up to $2.7+ MILLION.. with the state paying $1.5 MILIION, and the Mayor diverting $1.2+ MILLION Columbus tax dollars that could be spent of more desperate needs.
