In today's L-E is a list of events coming to Columbus this week and the economic impact of each.. Several events with participants of 30-to-100 are projected at bringing in between $22,000.00 to "ZERO dollars.. How can an event of 70 areal PGA members bring in "ZERO" dollars of "economic impact"? The CVCB says that the group won't be using any hotel rooms, so their visit is worthless to the local economy.. guess those PGA members won't be eating, driving .. or heaven forbid, partaking in any shopping or clubbing while in town..
