Another tragic shooting at a high school. This time 17 students/staff died at the hands of a previously expelled student.. a 19 year old, who was sent to another Broward County, FL school after he was expelled. Both of the 19-year-old's parents had previously died, so. in effect, he is an independent adult living at an non-familial home.. with an extensive discipline history, so .. why was he still allowed to stay in public school past the traditional age of students?

Secondly: no part of any immigration bill will hurt any Amazon qualified employee.. in fact, having a definitive immigration bill will basically PROTECT all GA.. and future Amazon employees.

From the "this is 'front page/above the fold' news" department - L-E headline: "Brookstone School to drug-test students" -- You know.. it's almost pathetic that the L-E would consider this front page news when it's doubtful whether it's m newsworthy at all. Brookstone is to be congratulated for addressing a pertinent issue and trying to get ahead of problems young people face today.. now, what is the policy.. and priority.. of the MCSD?

From the "why" department - A physical trial ... and basically, an unnecessary one, is going on in Columbus for one of three animals who bludgeoned to death a wife/mother/grandmother, one of her children and a 10 year old granddaughter.. 2 of the 3 accepted a plea deal, the third has has not.. The "death sentence"... UNFORTUNATELY...is not on the table.. so why didn't the attorney representing this particular animal doing so? What does her client have to gain? In a way, the public is better informed and public disdain for the three has been validated as the facts and gruesome pictures become public record, but the stress on the family of the victims has been great.. and forced upon them as witnesses. I can not see where her client benefits at all, so why, if not only for the money, did she proceed?
