From the "here, hold my beer Miss Nikki, I'll be right back" department - Online headline/story: "Palestinian peace negotiator tells Nikki Haley to 'shut up' * "Nikki Haley needs to shut up and realize that the Palestinian leadership is not the problem," Saeb Erekat told the website Al-Watan Voice on Saturday, the Times of Israel reports." -- Hmmm.. Saeb Erekat got one thing right .. "Palestinian leadership is not the problem".. at least it's not the IMMEDIATE PROBLEM ..for him.. His Muslim disregard for women in general, and Trump's respect for Israel just topped the list of Palestinian problems.
Or in the Southern vernacular, "Erekat" can't help it, Bless his heart, he was born with a silver sakin (سكين) (knife) in his mouth.

The DOW took a hit the past two trading days... traders.. versus investors.. have taken a lot of the profit since the TAX CUT passed, and the new tax rates will not hit their companies so hard as in the past. But as "the Arnold" might say, "DOW'll Be Back!"

From the "you have to be a team player/coach/dad to understand" department - Online story: "Malcolm Butler didn’t play in the Super Bowl last (Sunday) night. Bill Belichick is getting ripped for it – even by some of his former players. * New England’s head coach said after the loss to the Eagles that benching Butler was a “football decision.” The starting cornerback stood on the sideline as Nick Foles cut through the Patriots’ pass defense with ease." -- You know.. principles are important even when mainscream media and armchair QB's have no clue. Malcom Butler knows exactly why he didn't play.. and that it was him who let down the team, not Belachick.

From the " really bad ideas coming true" department...last year, "Bud Lite" promised Eagle fans "free beer" if the Eagles won a Super Bowl. Now, "Bud Lite" is going to keep it's promise at the planned Philadelphia parade today. Bet the Mayor of Philadelphia wishes "Bud Lite" had promised to clean up the trash/excrement from the parade goers.
---
From the "omen" department - A tractor trailer took an unbanked turn off Veterans onto 15th St. and it's top-heavy load container came off and pretty much blocked the northbound traffic just before "rush hour" yesterday. I can see such as a routine occurrence happening often at the upcoming River Road roundabout....and with every logging truck.
---
Whatta you bet that the vandalism and looting in Philadelphia occurred in the voting precincts that didn't record a single vote for Romney in 2012 or Trump in 2016?
---
Still wondering why White House or Congressional security officials were not stationed at the AMTRAK crossings the train carrying Republicans to the Greenbrier? What if that garbage truck had carried a tank full of explosives in it.. What if it actually did have explosives that just failed? What if the 3 men who didn't vacate the cab hadn't planned to do to make sure some else didn't get in and drive the truck off. I ask..suggest .. these possible scenarios simply because of mainscream media's seeming lack of interest in asking these questions.

Syria's ASSwad is using Chlorine gas... again....this is Obama's legacy for not living up to his hollow promise to go after ASSwad if he "crossed the line" Obama drew in the sand. This is what happens when your first act of foreign relations is to go on an apology tour to 3rd World and continually bought off leaders.

Have it on good authority that the Hospital Authority bought the River Mill Event Center with the intention of turning it into a senior/end-of-life facility "with a view". I see such as being an albatross around the neck of areal development. Besides, residents at an "end-of-life" facility already have a wonderful view.... of eternal life in Heaven. The Hospital Authority had no business buying the River Mill Event Center and becoming a landlord competing with private sector businesses.

I'm beginning to love...even look forward to "DIMocrat Responses" to Republican issues.. the public is learning that the more vicious, and the louder such "DIMocrat Responses" are, the more truthful the Republican memos are.
---
Jimmy Kimmel says he doesn't want conservatives in his audiences...Guess Kimmel has learned that liberal audiences will laugh at stupid comments because they do not understand them, and conservatives won't laugh at stupid comments.

From the "only in California" department - Online headline/story: "A California city is launching the first US experiment in basic income — meet the 27-year-old mayor behind it * Stockton, California made national news last October when it announced it would host the first US experiment in basic income, a system of wealth distribution in which people receive a standard salary just for being alive. * The plan, spearheaded by Stockton's 27-year-old mayor, Michael Tubbs, will likely begin sometime in August 2018 and involve at least 100 people of varying income levels getting $500 a month for three years." -- Good grief.. DIMocrats are basically clueless.. number 1, government has no money of its own to "give" to anyone... 2 - if the mayor wants to experiment with "universal salaries", he should probably start with his and council's salaries.. cap them at the $500.00 mark forever. 3- the DIMocrat concept of equality is that "everyone is equal.. only some are more equal than others.

Online story: "Georgia’s Secretary of State’s office will “instruct” local elections officials to automatically update addresses for people who move within the same county as part of a settlement reached in a lawsuit filed by the ACLU of Georgia against Secretary of State Brian Kemp, and the Fulton County Board of Registration and Elections." -- I'm OK with this.. in fact, it should have been mandatory a long time ago... what's missing though is a rule that says hen someone moves, and no new address is given, then the voter's registration office should put an immediate hold on the validity of that person voting in that precinct in any election, and if someone moves and gives another county/state address, that county/state be notified.

---
Online story: State Labor Commissioner Mark Butler said 2017 was a banner year for job creation and employment in South Georgia. * The 18-county South Georgia region ended the calendar year with 3,489 more employed residents, 2,061 more people in the workforce, and an unemployment rate down .8 percent." -- Hmm... of course, Congressman Bishop's District is not mentioned...
---
From the "what DIMocrats do when they have nothing constructive to add" department - Online story: "A group of six Democratic state senators filed legislation this week that would move toward legalizing marijuana in Georgia for medicinal and recreational use." -- You know, I really don't have an issue with the medicinal use , but I do have issue with medicinal usage being abused as i the opioids group of pain killers, but trying to legalize a product banned by federal law is just wrong..
https://www.wabe.org/georgia-senators-renew-push-legalize-marijuana/

From the "incredible" department - Online headline/story: "Clinton associates fed information to Trump dossier author Steele, memo says * Clinton associates were "feeding" allegations to former British spy Christopher Steele at the same time he was compiling the controversial anti-Trump dossier paid for by the Democratic National Committee and Clinton campaign, according to an unclassified memo from senior Senate Republicans who recently made a criminal referral. * While heavily redacted, the memo states Steele said he received information that came from "a foreign sub-source who 'is in touch with (redacted), a contact of (redacted), a friend of the Clintons, who passed it to (redacted).” -- You know.. feeding info, and paying a 3rd party to refeed it to the FBI is in all sense bribery, and treason..., and for the FBI political strata to continually act on it is collusion in the worse sense.
---
Online headline: "Charter to increase minimum wage to at least $15 an hour" -- -- Hmm.. another company celebrates the Trump Tax Cut bill.. now, since the Tax Cut bill creates a 40% boost to the bottom line, I am not going to accept a rate increase from Charter/Spectrum based on giving out new higher salaries.
---
From the "BUILD THE DAMN WALL" department - Online story: "The suspected drunk driver who killed Indianapolis Colts linebacker Edwin Jackson in a crash on the morning of the Super Bowl is a Guatemalan citizen who is in the U.S. illegally and has been deported twice, police revealed Monday." -- DACA.. yeah, DIMocrats Aiding?Abetting Criminal Aliens!
---
Online story: "Did college students give President Trump's State of the Union address a fair chance? * Campus Reform's Cabot Phillips talked to students at New York City's John Jay College, reading them quotes from Trump's address. * What the students didn't know was that the lines were actually taken from some of former President Barack Obama's addresses. * The students were given quotes (from Obama) about going after ISIS and countering China on trade. But most were opposed to the ideas when they thought they were coming from Trump. * "He doesn't think before speaking," one responded. * "The way he approaches things is very aggressive," another argued. * "He should mind his own business and focus on America," a student said." -- You know, this was as honest as these students have ever been at evaluating Obama's damage to America's future for themselves.
---
Online story: "Josh Campbell penned a New York Times Op-Ed on Friday, claiming he was leaving the FBI because of “relentless attacks on the bureau,” but on Monday he proved his column was disingenuous by quickly signing with CNN. * CNN named Campbell the network’s new law enforcement analyst, according to TVNewser, and he will reportedly start immediately. However, industry insiders are quick to point out that deals with on-air analysts don’t simply appear out of thin air, especially over a weekend, so CNN and Campbell were presumably in cahoots before he tried to pin his departure from the FBI on attacks that “undermine not just America’s premier law enforcement agency but also the nation’s security.” * Campbell was a hero of the liberal media after he claimed his “resignation is painful” but necessary because “the alternative of remaining quiet while the bureau is tarnished for political gain is impossible.” He blamed “political attacks on the bureau” for his resignation but never mentioned that he was going to sign with CNN, or take a media job in general. " -- Let's face it.. Campbell was like the rats leaving the sinking ship .... after he helped drill holes in the hull..

L-E headline: "Father recounts finding family brutally slain in home" -- You know, the real crime being committed is the by the legal system... the brutal killers already know that they won't be given the death sentence they deserve and the husband/dad/grandfather has to relive his permanent anguish knowing those animals haven't learned anything about respect for life.
---
Online headline: "Jail inmates without hot meals for 30 days during renovations" -- and can't you see the flux of legal complaints about "cruel and unusual" punishment? To tell the truth, society, and criminals alike, would be better off if all prison meals were "bread and water".. I think such a meal plan would make criminals think a little more about doing something to be incarcerated again.
---
L-E headlie: "Lawmakers get subpoenas for campaign finance records * BY KIM CHANDLER * MONTGOMERY, ALA." -- It's about time.. but the focus needs to be more on "laundering" donations.. it's acceptable for on politician to take a donation from one person, and send it on to a candidate in another race. His is just wrong.. it allows a single person to get past the limits of how much one person can donate to a single politician. Unfortunately, this will not be the focus of the "investigation"..
---
L-E story: "The former sports doctor whose serial sexual abuse of girls and young women upended the gymnastics world was sentenced Monday to a third prison term of 40 to 125 years for molesting young athletes at an elite Michigan training center. Larry Nassar listened to dozens of victims for two days last week and was almost attacked by a man whose three daughters said they were abused.: -- I just hope the (_@_) is permanently assigned to shower room clean up duties in prison.. we ought to see him get his real.. and deserved.. justice in a matter of weeks.... Let's pray..
---
L-E headline: "House committee votes to make Dems’ memo public" -- I'm beginning to love...even look forward to "DIMocrat Responses" to Republican issues.. the public is learning that the more vicious, and the louder such "DIMocrat Responses" are, the more truthful the Republican memos are.
---
L-E story: "Also intending to run for the District 7 council seat are Jeremy Hobbs, director of Colgay Pride and LGBT Liaison for Mayor Teresa Tomlinson’s office, and Garrett Lawrence, a local entrepreneur who owns Maltitude and Nonic Bar and Kitchen on Broadway. * Both men have filed Declaration of Intent paperwork with the Muscogee County Elections and Registration Office." -- Hmmm... another "candidate" ..Garrett Lawrence.. has apparently committed to running yet. like Bart Steed in MCSB District 2, neither have documents registered on the CGC Election website that allow them to accept donations. Gentlemen... up your game!
---
There's a "hearing" ad posted about about a proposed development in Midland to be funded by tax favors created by the T.A.D. program Mayor Tom-LYING-son "got". Hmmm.. looks like the "devil" is demanding its "due" from the Mayor... and she's no fiddler like Charlie Daniels. Besides..she's much better at "the two-face" than the "two-step"..
