From the "boy meets world" department - With buttons popping off, I introduce Mack Wildes.. 6 lb 2 oz, 19.75 inches long who made Win Wildes a big brother last night about 10:16. God is good! Life is good. Celebrate with us!

On a less celebratory note - From the "Following up on a bad story to begin with" department - Online headline/story: "'Crappy white people' TA: UGA 'put me on permanent probation' but 'I declined' * University of Georgia Teaching Assistant I**** O*** F******* says he is on “permanent probation” after saying that “some white people may have to die for black communities to be made whole in this struggle to advance to freedom," among other racially charged comments. * "I'm not on permanent probation. The University is trying to put me on permenant [sic] probation. That was the deal that was offered, and I declined," O***-F******* wrote. Campus Reform asked (excrement delete) to clarify the contradicting statements. He responded by saying, "they are trying to put me on permanent probation. I declined the deal, and I'm headed towards a formal hearing at some date that has yet to be determined." -- Good grief! Why is this @sshole still even NEAR the UGA campus!

Online headline: "Juan Williams on DNC criticism of Fox News: 'Nobody tells me what to say here' -- "Nobody tells me what to say here?... Obviously! ...Eyes roll back in disbelief whenever Williams opines.

From the "looks like a resurgence of chew tobacco returning to baseball" department - Online headline: "Computer to call balls and strikes in minor league" -- Gone will be the chin-to-chin manager/umpire difference-of-opinion discussions at home plate where the manager kicks dirt on the umpire.. now managers will walk over to a computer camera, and spit tobacco juice on the circuitry to fry it.

MUST READ! - From the "impeach John Roberts" department - Online story: "The Supreme Court of the United States has refused to hear an appeal of a conviction of Christian businessmen Philip Zodhiates, who is currently serving a sentence in a federal prison for helping a Christian woman and her child escape court-enforced visits with an unrelated lesbian “mother” imposed on the child by a Vermont court. * Zodhiates was convicted in 2016 of the crime of “international parental kidnapping” for driving Lisa Miller and her daughter Isabella to the Canadian border in 2009, where she allegedly crossed into Canada and took a flight to Nicaragua. An international manhunt that targeted the Mennonites who protected Lisa and Isabella turned up nothing. * Miller was seeking to protect her daughter from exposure to court-enforced visits with Janet Jenkins, a lesbian with whom Miller had had a sexual relationship and civil union partnership before repenting and returning to her Christian faith. Although Isabella was born to Lisa via artificial insemination while Miller and Jenkins were living together, Jenkins never adopted Isabella and her name is not on her birth certificate. Nonetheless, a Vermont court declared that Jenkins is, in addition to Lisa, Isabella’s “mother.” -- The ramifications of this Supreme Court "airball" are huge.. it basically give parental claims to anybody who's been in a relationship with a mother and child regardless of reality.

From the "hey NY District 14.. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is going to be responsible for the next hit reality show, "Mother Knows Best".. " department - Online headline/story: "Ocasio-Cortez's mom left New York City over property taxes * The mother of soak-the-rich congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said that she was forced to flee the Big Apple and move to Florida because the property taxes were so high. * “I was paying $10,000 a year in real estate taxes up north. I’m paying $600 (actually, per the Lake County Florida tax database, the taxes she paid in 2018 are $651, and her projected taxes in 2019 are $691) a year in Florida. It’s stress-free down here,” Blanca Ocasio-Cortez told the Daily Mail from her home in Eustis, a town of less than 20,000 in central Florida north of Orlando." -- Oh... and in 2016.. "two years before the storm"... Wonder if the NY Election Board has checked out her mother's absentee voting record?

From the "and this makes sense to Democrats" department - Online headline/story: "As residents flee New York's high taxes, state uses intrusive audits to get cash from defectors * New York state goes to extraordinary lengths to catch wealthy residents who try to flee its burdensome taxes, leaving a gaping hole in the state’s treasury. * “This is the flip side. Tax the rich, tax the rich, tax the rich,” Cuomo said last month. “We did. Now, God forbid, the rich leave.” * Between 2015 and 2017, the auditors on average collected $144,270 per audit, with more than half of those who were audited losing their cases. * New York's success rate on audits can be attributed not only to the traditional methods of investigation like going through an individual’s credit card bills, but also to new high-tech tools that include tracking phone records, social media, and even veterinary and dentist records, according to the outlet." -- What's really sad is that Cuomo isn't concerned that good..productive.. people are leaving, he's only concerned they are taking their checkbooks with them, and obviously, is burning the bridges that lead back to NY.

From the "Go for it! CNN & WaPo et al...deserve to be made examples of!" department - Online headline: "CNN to be sued for more than $250M over 'vicious' and 'direct attacks' on Covington High student" -- I hope this lawyer files a similar suit against every MSM-13 company who ran even 1 extra mention of the attack on 16 year old Nick Sandmann after the compete video was aired showing the truth...

---
It's sad...no, sorry..that Dem. Adam Schi** and his staff met with Michael Cohen to discuss his testimony before he appeared before the committee. Sorry, because if Schi**'s claim that it was for refreshing Cohen's memory rather than coaching Cohen's testimony, then Schi** should have included at least one Republican committee member.

A record "bull market" has reached 10 years... Democrats want to claim it was started by Obama, but the reality was that Obama's policies kept the economy floundering that the FED reduced it's interest rates to zero while the hyper-inflation of printing $9.95 TRILLION in new money debt went unchecked.. Savings account wallowed under 1% interest because there was no alternative for people to invest in anything but the stock market, but it wasn't until Trump's eliminating so many Obama regulations and taxes that people felt good about investing in the economy.

Contrary to popular belief, the Saturday observance National Meatball Day is not recognition day for 2020 Democrats Presidential Candidates.

---
MSM-13 and the DEMentiacrats are trying to turn the 20,000 new jobs number in February as a negative...what's not being mentioned is the real 3.5% gain in wages over the past 12 months, or that there are fewer job seekers than jobs available.

Are you listening? Reports are out that medieval plague diseases like smallpox and typhus are spreading in California cities where homeless tent cities exist on public streets. Build the wall...with an alternate wall separating California from the other 47 mainland states.

From the "and this makes sense to Democrats" department - Online headline/story: "Houston mayor calls for 400 firefighter layoffs so city can afford voter-mandated pay hikes for the rest * Houston city officials plan to lay off 400 firefighters, or about 10 percent of the department's personnel, to fund pay raises that voters mandated in a November referendum. * The raises required by Proposition B -- which was approved by 59 percent of voters -- would grant city firefighters the same pay as police officers of corresponding rank. * The administration of Mayor Sylvester Turner, a Democrat who opposed the raises, plans to mail layoff notices within a few weeks. Those who'll be out of work include 68 cadets whom the mayor declined to promote amid a hiring freeze." -- "a Democrat who opposed the raises" for those whom put their lives on the line? What's new?

You know... right now Democrats are preaching women's "choice"... but when Socialist-Democrats gain enough power, they will be like China, and give women "NO CHOICE".. The state will determine if and how many children a woman can have.

When the L-E finally got around to mentioning that Trump had been in town, I really wished that the list of greeters of the President, our Commander in Chief, had included our Mayor Skippy.. Columbus needs good relationships with all levels of government and not being there missed the opportunity to be with not only our President, but our Governor, and the Commanding General of Ft Benning.

You know.. the Republicans should set up a live feed from Venezuela during the 2020 Democratic Party National Convention to elect a nominee to challenge Trump, then buy up all the ad time during news broadcasts/shows on CNN, MSNBC, CBS, ABC, NBC, and NPR and use the live Venezuela "feed" during those "spots".

---
From the "Tures finally gets it" department - "M/C L-E commentary headline: "Let’s stop just talking about storms, put effort into helping * BY JOHN A. TURES * Correspondent" -- Yep, Tures finally gets it.. the difference between Republicans and Democrats.. The MAGA hats show up to work, and while the Democrats talk about climate change...

---
From the "still tiptoeing around the issue" department - Online headline/story: "Jussie Smollett indicted on 16 felony counts by grand jury * "Empire" actor Jussie Smollett has been indicted by a grand jury in Chicago on 16 felony counts after allegedly lying to police about being the victim of a racist and homophobic hate crime, NBC News confirmed Friday. * he claimed he was assaulted by two masked men who hurled racist and homophobic slurs." -- Hmmm... and still one detail was "under-reported.. Smollett stated the two "attackers" were white and wore MAGA hats...yes.. this was a HATE crime , and yes, Obama could have been his father...

Just read the Audit files for the audit of the Clerk of Council.. I'm stunned at how the Mayor and City Manager could function without instant access to Council and Boards/Authorities minutes and purchases. Can't wait to see the transition audit of the mayor's office or the audit of the City Manager.

---
From the "hmm.. maybe there ought to be a recount" department - Online headline/story: "Ilhan Omar: Obama’s a ‘pretty face’ who got ‘away with murder’ * Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar ripped former President Barack Obama in an interview published Friday, belittling his “pretty face” and saying his agenda of hope and change was an illusion. * She cited the “caging of kids” at the Mexican border and the “droning of countries around the world” on Obama’s watch — and argued that he wasn’t much different from President Trump
* “We can’t be only upset with Trump,” the freshman firebrand told Politico Magazine." -- Hmmm.. bet this came out AFTER the shame bill vote...

---
From the "did you really expect otherwise?" department - Online headline/story: "House Dems overwhelmingly reject motion to condemn illegal immigrant voting * Nearly every House Democrat on Friday opposed a measure condemning voting in U.S. elections by illegal immigrants, as part of a sweeping election reform bill. * The GOP-backed measure would have added language to the “H.R. 1” election proposal stating that “allowing illegal immigrants the right to vote devalues the franchise and diminishes the voting power of United States citizens. * Federal law already prohibits non-citizens from voting in elections for federal office. But the GOP motion referenced how San Francisco is allowing non-citizens, including illegal immigrants, to register to vote in school board elections." -- But technically, California HAS found a way to make illegal aliens able to vote on national issues.. In 1990, the Census added enough people, whether citizens or not, to boost California's number of Congressional Districts by 7 over the 1980 allocation. The 2020 Census NEEDS a question about Citizenship included, and one with teeth in it..

I heard a Congresswoman defending her choice for abortion by saying she talked about with her husband, her family, and her doctor.. what I didn't hear...for that matter anyone making such a choice, her say is that she talked with God about it...and you wonder why liberals want to eliminate God, in any form, from our government, our schools, and our society.

A number of economic data were lower than expected, but higher 3.5% wages over the past 12 months is important. What hasn't been credited to most slower numbers is the effect the 4 politically induced Fed-rate interest hikes over the last 12 months. Raising this rate dampens construction and automobile loans which cuts back homes and automobile production.

From the "be careful what you wish for" department - Online headline/story: "Georgia Supreme Court ruling strikes down tool for tracking sex offenders * For years, Georgia law required lifelong electronic tracking for "sexually dangerous predators" even after they completed their sentence, including their time on probation or parole. * In a unanimous decision, the court ruled that lifelong monitoring after a completed sentence violates the Fourth Amendment's protection against unreasonable search. * The court reasoned that an ankle bracelet feeding location data to law enforcement constituted a never ending search." -- Monitoring was a two-way street.. while it did disclose where you were all the time, it was also a measure of where you WEREN'T if a similar crime was committed, and that alone could save a felon from a public rush to judgment.

So glad the M/C L-E finally acknowledged that President Trump came to Columbus . the L-E ignored the advance notices of him and his bride coming .. I guess the L-E didn't want to share with Columbusites when he'd get here and how we could get to see him.

From the "wink, wink" department - M/C L-E headline: "Warren says tech giants have ‘too much power,' need breakup" -- Good grief.. all she really said was that "big tech giants" haven't given her enough campaign donations.... yet.

I am so proud of both Carver High School of Columbus's dual state Championships! I'm even prouder that the M/C L-E actually stayed up until afternoon snack time to actually get it into Saturday's edition!

So women soccer players feel hey should be paid equitably with their male counterparts.. Well, I hope the women win.. it'll a good precedent when I get my lawyer to sue the entertainment industry because not as many fans come to my concerts as Taylor Swifts'...

From M/C L-E Front page headline/story: "Trump-signed Bibles offend some, but it’s a presidential tradition * But the Rev. Donnie Anderson, executive minister of the Rhode Island State Council of Churches, said she was offended by the way Trump scrawled his signature Friday as he autographed Bibles and other things, including hats, and posed for photos. She viewed it, she said, as a “calculated political move” by the Republican president to court his evangelical voting base. * “For me, the Bible is a very important part of my faith, and I don’t think it should be used as a political ploy,” she said. " -- "Rev. Donnie Anderson..she"? Please don't tell me is is one of those "gender of the moment" moments! Well, what do you expect from an "executive minister" in a state that doesn't even know what its geographical parameters are? And as far as autographing a Bible goes, I'm sure God is pleased by whomever holds and respects His word.. Oh! and I'm sure God has looked at Rev Donnie's reaction/words as more politically motivated than Trump's care and concern for the victim's needs in Alabama.

The Electoral College is a common subject of today for liberals.. they want to abolish it. I don't think so but it could use a little more tweaking.. Combined, NH, RI, VT, ME, CT, DE, and Wash DC have 22 total Electoral votes.. Those states (plus non-state DC) have a total of 9.6 Million in population. On the other hand, Georgia has but 16 Electoral College votes and a population of 10.4 Million. So let's reapportion those Electoral College votes.. Combined there are 20 Million on population and 38 Electoral College votes so GA should get 20 Electoral College Votes and the others combined 18 EC votes...and let's make sure only certified American citizens are counted against the Electoral College distribution figures in the next and subsequent Censuses.
