The criminal is 46 and was first arrested in 1990, 29 years ago.. He was 17 years old when he was caught/arrested for the first time.. and has been caught/arrested an average of 2.4 times PER year. At no time has a compassionate sentence helped either him.. or the community.

Because he was 17 at the time of sentencing and 15 when he committed the crime, Burks does have the possibility of parole." -- Good grief! What GA needs is a law that says that if criminals were protected from the death sentence by their age when committing a heinous crime, that if they file for a new trial, the death sentence comes into play.

I'm still mystified that the MCSD could not find a qualified local candidate to fill the new MCSD Police Chief position. Then I thought.. well, maybe the MCSD Superintendent did not WANT a local and knowledgeable person having access to info needed to do the job, then I thought again.. hmm.. could this simply be more of a case of truly qualified local candidates KNOWING the situation, and not WANTING to get hired..

While Trump named Powell "chair", Powell was on the FED via an Obama appointment.
