I'm not sure what French protocol is, but I do not understand why France's President Macron showed little or no respect as his country's ..nor ours...National Anthem were presented. Thank heaven that America had President Trump representing America's soldiers and future. I cannot imagine Hellary ..or Bernie even wanting to be there.

 

Update: Macron did make a buzzer beating 3 point shot before he left the microphone.. He turned to our 90+ year old WWII veterans who fought their way across the beaches and started the freeing of France from Nazi control when he issued them a heartfelt "thank you".. in English.

My Dad would have been 102 this year. Though he did not see the beaches of France in 1944, he stood shoulder-to-shoulder with many who did in other areas of service to our country. Dad died before he had a chance to take the "Honor Flight" to see the WWII Monument in Washington, but one of his dearest friends, accompanied by his son, did go and carried my Dad's "dog tags" with them.
