The police officers were following STANDARD POLICE PROTOCOL! Who knows what the perpetrator has concealed on his body .. (or up his sleeve or in his hoodie). And as far as the woman filming is concerned, her life was also endangered by the perpetrator and her family would have sued had the police holstered their weapons and the perpetrator killed her in some unexpected action.
