The more I hear about the details of moving City Health Departments to the Virginia College location, the less I'm impressed.. didn't know until Wednesday that it's a 45 year-old metal building with only a facade hiding that fact...and, overall, it's only a couple of years "newer" than the Government Center which has not fared well under the Council's "watch". I'm also leery of the "projected savings" given for moving compared to info I've been given concerning the renewal contracts at the current building location. , and combined with the loss of property taxes on the Virginia College location plus the costs of "free transportation: from Piedmont to the new location, I see a need for the City to re-run "the numbers".

From the "this guy just popped the balloon of liberals" department - WTVM 9 headline/story: "Arrest warrant issued for suspect out on bond in Columbus police chase that injured two officers * An arrest warrant has been issued for the driver of a vehicle that led police on a chase that ended in a head-on collision and left two officers injured. * The suspect, Quardarrius Strong, is currently out of jail on an own recognizance bond, which means he was released from the Muscogee County Jail without having to pay bail. As a soldier in the U.S. Army, the condition of Strong’s release was that he stay confined to Fort Benning. * Strong is charged in the murder of Ronnie Brooks Jr. that took place in February 2019. He was released on his own recognizance in July 2019." -- You know.. I can see where a "recognizance bond" would be suitable.. even good and fair for a lot of situations, but if that program includes "recognizance bonds" for felony charges, then the whole program should be scrapped... immediately!

Think about why racial balance in the Democratic Debacles have quickly dwindled and is now non-existent.. while it's about the funds they have or haven't raised, it's also about the polling numbers.. now has the Democratic Party EVER issued "diversity numbers" of whom is actually being polled? Seems to me that since over 90% of black voters vote "Democrat", that while he black population is about 13% of our national population, it should be about 25% of the Democrat base.. This being fact, if Democrat Polls were balanced, we'd see at least one.. maybe even 2 .. Democratic Party hopefuls with black ethnicity... IF the polling samples were racially balanced..
