Online headline/story: "Philadelphia mayor blasts Mummers Parade marchers who wore blackface: 'Abhorrent and unacceptable' * (Mayor Jim McKenney) tweeted "The use of blackface by someone affiliated with Froggy Carr today was abhorrent and unacceptable. This selfish, hateful behavior has no place in the Mummers, or the city itself. We must be better than this. The group was disqualified and we will be exploring additional penalties." * The Froggy Carr group was dressed in orange and black during the parade to pay homage to Gritty, the mascot for the Philadelphia Flyers NHL club. * -- Hmmm...Anyone know how Mayor McKenney feels about Virginia's Governor Northam or VA's Attorney General?

From the "Speaking of VA's Gov Northam" department - Online headline/story: "Virginia's Ralph Northam pushes to remove Robert E. Lee statue from US Capitol * Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam will push for a bill in the state legislature to replace the state's statue of Confederate Gen. Robert E. Lee that is displayed in the United States Capitol building. * The office of the Democratic governor will file a request for a bill that would outline the process for removing the statue and selecting a replacement. The figure of Lee is one of two statues from Virginia in the National Statuary Hall Collection." -- Northam will forever be remembered as a "wart" on the butt of a donkey in VA's history!

From the "surely, nothing like this could happen in Columbus... yeah.. right" department - Online story: "The City of Atlanta’s finance department has taken $175,000 from a fund earmarked to buy new police vehicles in order to purchase two luxury GMC Denalis to chauffeur Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms. * The funds were part of a $2.6 million plan that was intended to purchase 91 new patrol vehicles for the Atlanta Police Department (APD), the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported. * Although the city council approved the original mass purchase in 2017, the two Denalis were not included on the list the council endorsed. * “You can’t ask the council to approve a list of vehicles and then turn around and use the money for something else,” Atlanta City Council President Felicia Moore told the paper." -- Do Ram Chargers with upgrade wheels for a City Manager count?

Online story: "Former Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe apologized for lying to federal investigators concerning an October 2016 leak to The Wall Street Journal about the Hillary Clinton email probe, newly released transcripts indicate -- underscoring McCabe's legal jeopardy as U.S. Attorney John Durham continues the Justice Department's criminal probe into bureau misconduct. * The transcripts specifically raised the possibility that McCabe, now a paid CNN commentator, could face a false statements charge similar to the one leveled against former national security adviser Michael Flynn. The account of McCabe's remarks was released by the Department of Justice (DOJ) inspector general (IG) because of a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit by Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, D.C. * But on Aug. 18, 2017, McCabe's story changed when he was confronted with other evidence, including emails and witness accounts, that conflicted with his prior statements. Asked again whether he was aware of the leak to the Journal and had personally authorized it, McCabe was unequivocal. * "And as nice as could be, he said, 'Yep. Yep I did,'" the FBI agent said, according to the transcripts." -- Looks like another "witness" Schi** and Nadler "conveniently" left out...

Online headline/story: "Iraqi official spotted outside embassy attack visited Obama White House in 2011 * An Iran-linked Iraqi official who was spotted in the crowd of angry militia supporters and protesters Tuesday as some of them stormed the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad visited the Obama White House back in 2011. * Hadi Al-Amiri's presence at the scene of the embassy attack -- where crowds chanted “Down, Down USA!” following U.S. airstrikes that killed fighters of an Iranian-backed militia -- underscores how the figure once seen as a potential partner is now viewed by the U.S. government as a dangerous Iran proxy." -- seen visiting OUR White House... wanna bet it wasn't an Irani "apology tour"?

Anyone know whether the City's Natatorium has been open ...or closed... during the holidays? How about whether there are any "events" scheduled for 2020?

A Clinton spinmeister said "Kim Jung Ooops is playing Trump like a drum"... hmmm..seems she's forgotten how Obama sent Bill Clinton to North Korea as his dancing monkey on a leash attached to an organ grinder.

So Biden is the first to get an endorsement from an Iowan Democrat Congressperson. You know, it's somewhat hollow to feel a Democrat endorses another Democrat based on having the same family values, when both are pro-late-term-abortion advocates.

Seriously, why hasn't the Supreme Court stepped in and told House Speaker PeLOUSY to complete her duties by handing over the House impeachment charges the Senate?

That 13 year old involved in the robbery/stabbing death of that 18 year old college student in NYC is being brought into "family court"! Good grief...it should not matter that he is only 13 when he and two other 14 year olds were organized to attack and rob another while any of them carried any weapons!

You know...even sadder than the Irani militia attack on our Embassy in Iraq is the fact that our liberal media was allowed to roam around recording the terrorist attack on our Embassy. It's should be consider a badge of shame that Islamic terrorists consider our media as it's allies/spokespersons.

Online headline/story: "Iran's Gen. Soleimani killed in U.S. airstrike at Baghdad airport" * The Pentagon said Thursday that the U.S. military has killed Gen. Qassem Soleimani, the head of Iran’s elite Quds Force, at the direction of President Donald Trump. * The Defense Department said Soleimani “was actively developing plans to attack American diplomats and service members in Iraq and throughout the region." It also accused Soleimani of approving the attacks on the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad earlier this week. * The strike also killed Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, deputy commander of Iran-backed militias in Iraq known as the Popular Mobilization Forces, or PMF, Iraqi officials said. The PMF media arm said the two were killed in an American airstrike that targeted their vehicle on the road to the airport." -- Hmmm... and my question is what were they doing openly moving about in Iraq?

Columbus Ledger-Enquirer headline: "Tom Buck, a force for Columbus in Georgia House, dies at 81" -- Rest in Peace, Tom Buck III.. but in retrospect, "a Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax was possible because Buck helped change the law that allows such revenue to be used for capital projects" ... as Adrian Monk might add. "it's a blessing... and a curse".

One more reminder for our local media...we are NOT in a new decade,, the current decade ENDS on December 31st, and the new one begins on January 1, 2001. Think about it...
