From the "What? We whine?" department - Online headline/story: "McConnell releases impeachment trial rules, sparking new outcry from Dems * limiting opening arguments to no more than two days and scheduling them to start on Wednesday 1 p.m., Democrats will be forced to make their case against the president well past midnight on Wednesday and Thursday night. * Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., blasted the Republican rules, calling them a “national disgrace.” -- heh..heh..heh? Br'er Mitch has upset Br'er UpChuck's "crapple cart"! Dem Senator Schmoozer had so PLANNED on getting 3 days for opening and end on Friday so the Democrat spinmeisters could swamp the weekend news shows before the President Trump could counter their "claims" with facts..

From the "if you CAN'T prove it, insinuate it" department - Online headline/story: "Georgia election systems COULD HAVE BEEN hacked before 2016 vote * A Georgia election server contains evidence that it was POSSIBLY hacked before the 2016 presidential election and the 2018 vote that gave Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp a narrow victory over Democratic opponent Stacey Abrams * The incident, which occurred in late 2014, LONG BEFORE EITHER of those elections, not only calls into question the integrity of Georgia’s voting machines during critical elections * It's unclear who may have carried out the alleged attack or if voter information was altered, but Logan Lamb, the election security expert who uncovered the activity" -- Good grief.. woulda/coulda? Is that all MSM-13 needs to have to rush to judgment.. some wet-behind-the-ears "expert" who isn't even a principle in the company who looked into this?

Who is Logan Lamb... other than someone the Democrats have sent to slaughter, he's been a Sr Security Engineer at BIRD for less than 13 months. before that, he was simply a researcher at two different companies for 8 years. .. this is what needs to be "called into question"!

From the "poll truth.. nothing but the poll truth" department - The AJC has tow polls out.. one says 57% of Georgians do not want President Trump removed from office,, their other one says, "Most Georgia voters support legalizing casino gambling and sports betting, according to statewide poll results released Friday by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution." -- The first one I hardily believe,, and if the AJC used a truly reflective sampling of registered voters, the number of Georgians supporting Trump in this situation would be considerably higher,, but the second one.. gimmee a break, if the 57% in the first poll is reflective of Georgians politically, then no way do a "majority of GA voters " approve of casino and open sports betting...

Back in November, I went to Macon for a wedding.. I made two points.. one was how desolate downtown Macon s-Streets were because of the Parking meters discouragement of shoppers and diners.. the other was how much more vibrant the main artery into the downtown area was compared to our eyesight trail on Veterans Parkway.. Well, it looks like there;s a reason for it.. Macon just reported that " year after a budget shortfall threatened to close libraries, Macon-Bibb County boasts $13.5 million in the black for Fiscal Year 2019. * CPA Miller Edwards told the mayor and commissioners last Tuesday. “We needed it after the past few years. We had to build up that fund balance.” -- Hmmm.. Well, well, well.. it's is refreshing that a City can operate within it's budget and add to the Fund Balance.. how about it Columbus Council!

Columbus Ledger-Enquirer "HEADLIE": "3 killed in fatal weekend shootings across Columbus" -- Good grief.. when did they "put this edition to bed"?
We learned yesterday that another Columbusite, the 4th of the weekend is dead from Saturday. And it's another 13 year old dead..this time via a possible "game" of Russian Roulette. That's 7 deaths now for less than 3 weeks, and 2 of them 13 years old. We can do better than this, Columbus....we HAVE to do better!

Online headline/story: :"Columbus Ranks In Top 25 Cities For Barbecue Nationwide *
Staff Reporter (newsdesk@chattvoice.com) * Columbus was ranked number 21 on the list. The research showed that 7.40% of restaurants in the city limits of Columbus are barbecue restaurants. That ratio means that with Columbus' population coming in at 194,160 residents, there are 13.14 barbecue restaurants for every 100,000 people in the city." -- Hmmm... How can an article discussing BBQ in Columbus, GA not mention Smokey Pig! But what was scary is learning that there are way fewer BBQ restaurants per 100,000 Columbusites than homicides per 100K.

I was amazed...well..more startled .. to learn that the Democrat candidates running for their Party's presidential nomination have taken in over $500,000,000.00 (over half-a-billion), and yet after all the smoke has pretty much cleared, the candidates standing in the party that boasts of its inclusion and diversity consists mainly of angry old white people.. From what the Dems claim, you would feel that their donors would support minorities better...Poof! Another myth shattered...

There was a demonstration in Virginia yesterday that MSM-13 and Democrats forecast it to be "ARMS-ageddon".. Not even one arrest was made.. guess antifa wasn't going to attack armed law-abiding citizens .. didn't here if Governor Northam appeared and "faced" the Virginia citizens about their gun rights.. guess he didn't know which "face" to put on.

Online headline/story: "Nancy Pelosi's daughter said she handed Trump a bottle of water without anyone checking it * Alexandra Pelosi, the House Speaker's daughter, had been directing the filming of a documentary inside the White House on March 1, 2017, when the president appeared, the book said. * Trump had asked for a bottle of water during filming, but in the absence of a staff member to give him one, Pelosi took out a bottle of Aquafina from her purse and handed it to him, the authors said. * To her shock, there were no checks or protocols, the book added" -- Hmmm.. could it simply be that President Trump is a realist and felt someone reaching into her purse for a bottle of water was unlikely to have brought it in anticipating he would ask for such? Sadly, I bet PeLOUSY's daughter has been ostracized by her mother for not being better prepared for an opportunity to take out Trump....

Read an item that said we've been cooking our bacon ALL WRONG... hmmm... well, as much as I love bacon the way my wife and I cook it, then I DON"T WANT TO BE RIGHT!

Columbus Ledger-Enquirer headline/story: "Phenix City mayor earns 2020 MLK Jr. Unity Award honor * “I am shocked,” Lowe said. “I was always taught that when you do something you do it for the right reason and you don’t even look for a ‘thank you’." -- Congratulations Eddie Lowe! I remember our church had Mayor Lowe speak to us one night 7 or 8 years ago.. I asked him if there was any chance he might move over here run to be our mayor.. he ..and the audience.. laughed and he declined... hmmm... Columbus' loss!

Columbus L-E article: Robert De Niro was himself at the SAG awards...too bad..always pointedly anti-Trump, De Niro spouted out these words: "There's right and there's wrong and there's common sense and there's abuse of power," he added..Obviously De Niro did not practice speaking these words in front of a mirror.. if he had, he'd have recognized not on how well his words fit him, he's also learned that abuse of celebritism is far worse than any of his other words.
