Yesterday, I mentioned that Louis Farrakhan's Nation of Islam has received at least $364,500 in contracts and awards from the U.S. Bureau of Prisons and the Department of Justice between fiscal 2008 and fiscal 2019 to teach religious study programs for federal prison inmates. A BCer reminded me of Ron Reagan's political ad run in the October Democratic Debacle for his Freedom From Religion Foundation which said he was "alarmed by the intrusions of religion into our secular government. That’s why I’m asking you to support the Freedom From Religion Foundation, the nation’s largest and most effective association of atheists and agnostics working to keep state and church separate". Why isn't the Freedom From Religion Foundation campaigning against the Nation of Islam's contract with the US Prison/DOJ started during the Obama/Biden administration?

Good grief! Creepy Joe says we've got to train and educate our workers... Hey, Joe, you were VP for 8 years, and a Senator since 1973 before that...Why aren't our workers better trained and educated already?

In the ongoing battle about gender capability of the sexes between Bernie and Elizabeth WarHen, I tend to agree with Bernie..and WarHen..after all , both of them believe gender is simply what someone feels at the moment.
---
You know, if a Republican candidate wrote about sexual fantasies of women and 14 year old girls as a 30+ year old person, he would never get considered, much less be running for his Party's nomination to be the president of the USA.. Was hoping someone would ask Bernie to comment about his writings last night in the Democratic Debacle.
---
Wow! Did you see Elizabeth WarHen spurn Bernie on the stage when the Debacle was over.. she left him "hanging" when he extended his hand.. Not sure it it was all ill-will or that she had read Bernie's 1972 article on sexual fantasies...

Looking at "who;s left standing".. it appears that the Democratic Party platform of "Diversity" should be changed to "Perversity".

APPLE is wrong...just outright wrong in not cooperating with the DOJ's request to unlock the phone of that Saudi terrorist who killed American service personnel at Pensacola. The DOJ has not asked for the secret code to open all Apple Phones, just the one terrorist used.

Local question: Does the MCSD have an automatic audit provision anytime there is change or retirement within the finance division of the Muscogee County School District Administration? I hope the answer is "yes".

If you stay on it long enough, you can get the City to respond... that advertising truck on Double Churches and Veterans has been moved off the City's right-of-way to private property.. Hope the City Bill's for repairing the ground where that truck sat for many months.

Just curious, after Dr Pepper bombarded us prior to the FBS Championship game about its final ad, did anyone actually see it? If it ran. I must have gone to the kitchen or bathroom.

Online story: "Delta Air Lines plans said it plans to pay out a record $1.6 billion in profit sharing to its employees this year. * The payout for the average employee will be equivalent to about two months of pay, said Delta CEO Ed Bastian. * The company expects to hire 6,000 to 7,000 people this year, and a total of about 25,000 over the next three or four years, Bastian said." -- Hmmm... two months of pay as bonuses... hiring around 25,000 ADDITIONAL employees in the next 3 or 4 years...don't you KNOW that Delta is counting on Trump continuing as our President.

Looks like Queen PeLOUSY cal-BagLady is going to put the impeachment charges up to a House vote on whether or not to actually send them over to the Senate... I don't understand why this step is necessary since the House has already voted on the charges, but just in case PeLOUSY gets the Democrats to help her "renege" on sending the charges to the Senate, all the Republican House members should vote unanimously to so!

From the "subterfuge?" department - Online headline/story: "House releases note on 'Biden case' from Giuliani associate * House Democrats have released a trove of documents they obtained from Lev Parnas, a close associate of President Donald Trump's personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani, including a handwritten note that mentions asking Ukraine's president to investigate “the Biden case.” * The documents made public Tuesday come as Democrats prepare to send articles of impeachment to the Senate for Trump's trial. * The documents — including phone records, texts and flash drives turned over by Parnas — were sent to the House Judiciary Committee by three other House committees “to be included as part of the official record that will be transmitted to the Senate along with the Articles of Impeachment,” according to a statement. Some of the materials were made public while others were marked as sensitive." -- Excuse me, but this sounds a  "bit cozy"... as if these files were intentionally held back during the House Intelligence and Judiciary hearings so that Republicans could not ask questions and counter Democrat assertions. It makes it appear that there's a conspiracy within the Democrat Party to cover Biden's "quid pro quo".
---
From the "ludicrous" department - Online headline/story: "Joe Burrow and the LSU Tigers were scolded by a cop who didn't want them smoking cigars in the locker room after winning the national championship * A police officer tried to stop players from smoking in the locker room after LSU's 42-25 win over Trevor Lawrence and the previous undefeated Clemson Tigers. In fact, the cop went as far as threatening to arrest anyone smoking a cigar during the festivities." -- Good grief.. I support our law enforcement officers, but this one needs a vacation .. If anything, cigar smoke probably masked the much worse smells of a normal men's locker room!

Did anyone hear a question asked to the Democrat candidates at the Debacle as to WHY they are opposed to a security wall at our Southern Border?
---
Online story: "The Ukrainian natural gas company that prompted President Donald Trump to seek investigations from Ukraine's president over its hiring of former Vice President Joe Biden's son was hacked by Russian spies, security experts said in a report released Monday. * The Main Intelligence Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Army, or GRU, "launched a phishing campaign targeting Burisma Holdings" as early as November 2019, according to cybersecurity firm Area 1 Security. * Area 1 called the Russian's effort "successful." It was not clear from the report what information if any was obtained." -- Hmm... sounds like a leverage opportunity for the Russians should Biden ever become our President... I guess the code words for this will be " the STEAL Dossier"...

Have you driven west on Bradley Park Drive and seen the traffic direction signage at the Roundabout? at the lane separation, one lane is marked for "right turn" (only), but the main lane is marked for left turn and thru traffic... mind you, there is no left turn from Bradley Park to head south on River Road. There's been a lame attempt to mark the proper route south around the Roundabout, but it is lame under normal conditions, and will be lamer at night or during rainy moments. Maybe Council needs to hold a "crash" meeting to get this resolved..

From the "when is justice not really justice?" department - Columbus Ledger-Enquirer headline/story: "Judge sentences four men in Columbus 2016 fatal shooting * T******s T****s, 23, pleaded guilty to aggravated assault and three counts of burglary. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison. Defense attorney Tim Flournoy said T****s was jailed 22 months awaiting trial, and he will get credit for the time he already has served. * Q******e T****s, 22, pleaded guilty to aggravated assault. He was sentenced to nine years in prison. Represented by William Kendrick, he initially was arrested Sept. 1, 2016, and also will get credit for the time he has spent in jail. * T****n M******s S*****y, 21, pleaded guilty to aggravated assault. Represented by Anthony Johnson, he was sentenced to 15 years in prison, and he too will get credit for time served. * D******e D***n W****n, 25, pleaded guilty to burglary, attempting to commit a felony, and misdemeanor theft. Represented by Stacey Jackson, he was sentenced to 20 years in prison, with credit for the time he has spent in jail." -- A gentle man.. one living with a handicap, yet a quality asset to his family, to the community, and all who knew him.. was killed .. yet 4 of the men involved will be back on the street for sure, and the actual shooter probably will one day..our community loses both ways ... the loss of a gentle man, and the return to the streets of men who have taken his life.
