From the "Poll truth? Actually, the TROLL truth?" department - Online headline: "Yahoo News/YouGov poll shows two-thirds of voters want the Senate to call new impeachment witnesses" -- Hmmm... Sounds to me that the questions NOT asked was, "Do you know what the Constitution says about what constitutes an impeachment process, and did you know it was the House that was responsible for discovering and presenting evidence to the Senate for jural discernment? To paraphrase Sheriff Buford P Justice, "What we have here is a failure to communicate." In other words, if a bunch of Yahoos are conducting a poll, you get a Yahoo poll.

Democrat hopeful Tom Steyer feels President Trump is scared of impeachment.. What I think about Steyer is that he's a Desperate Dolt looking for relevance..

Online headline: "Pedro Martinez rips Mike Fiers for calling out Astros' cheating: 'You're a bad teammate' -- I agree.. sign stealing has always been a part of baseball and will continue to be so.. if a coach/team doesn't protect its signal.. change them up.. then the coach should not complain.. In fact, if another team's coach feels the other team HAS "stolen" his (or his catcher's) signals, then there are ways to use it FOR his team's benefit..Last week, I mentioned a Little League game where we gave out batter a "bunt" signal feeling the other team would respond to it... and we used the situation where a 3rd baseman roared in with the pitch and left his base open and our REAL play was for a double steal, and the catcher instinctively threw the ball to 3rd before it was covered by another teammate. We ended up scoring the tying and winning runs on the play. Another time we felt our pitching signals were "stolen" so when a the other teams best hitter was at bat with the bases loaded, and 2 strikes were on the batter, we conferenced with our pitching battery and swapped the curve and fastball signals. We had the pitcher shake off two "curve ball" signals then the catcher gave him the fast ball down the middle signal.. the batter was set for it, but instead, our pitcher offered up a dinky slow curve ball.. the batter swung mightily long before the ball actually got to the plate for the 3rd strike and 3rd out of the inning..The other teams batters were confused/apprehensive the rest of the game because they had to wonder whether the pitched called for would be what they thought the signal was.

Online story: "The U.S. government is pressuring Apple to unlock two phones belonging to a Saudi air force officer who went on a deadly shooting rampage at a Pensacola, Fla., naval base in December. " -- Apple is wrong! The phones belonged to a now dead terrorist following a cowardly act of terrorism, and the dead terrorist has no rights to privacy anymore.

From the "she almost gets it, but still doesn't" department - Online story: "Democratic politician and voting rights advocate Stacey Abrams told a college crowd Wednesday that it’s time to move beyond past elections and ensure future ones are fair." -- Good grief.. Stacey Abrams lost because she had so much outside money to get her campaign message out to much, and more voters recognized the fallacy of her approach to government, and they went to the polls in record numbers to make sure she wasn't elected. If there was anything "unfair" about that election is that she got too much money from out=-of-state sources trying to influence Georgians' way of life.

Once again he media is focused on Harvey Weinstein's trial.. While I think Weinstein's coercive abuse of women is/was despicable, cross examination of most of his victims will discover that the women chose to "participate" based on what they thought would be quid pro quo for themselves..and that does make it "consensual".

After the last three months of listening to their husbands lying to everyone they see about President Trump, what do you think their wives feel when Schi** and Nadler tell their wives they are the "love of their lives"....

---
You also have to wonder what Schi** and Lord Faarquad think when they see news replays of themselves lying on the floor of the Senate in front of the Chief Justice of the house US Supreme Court?

---
Schi** says he is in awe of our Founding Fathers......LIAR! If Schi** WERE in awe of our Founding Fathers, he would respect the Constitution they created and passed on to us.

---
Excuse me, but why do the Senate Republican leaders want to shorten the Senate time? I think all the Democrats are doing is embarrassing themselves, and unifying more American voters in their support of President Trump.

Online story: "Former Acting Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Director Tom Homan said Wednesday that Joe Biden has "lost his mind," calling out the former vice president for saying that the United States should not deport illegal immigrants over a drunk-driving arrest. * Biden also threatened ICE with punishment if the agency were to deport illegal immigrants arrested for drunk driving, saying his administration would fire agents who arrest and deport illegal immigrants for such a crime." -- Hey, Creepy Joe.. you just admitted you will not protect and honor our Constitution and laws of the land! That's even worse than saying you want to CHANGE our laws and Constitution...

From the "this is gonna be as fun as it is revealing" department - Online headline: "Gabbard hits Clinton with $50 million defamation lawsuit over 'Russian asset' remarks" -- Wow! A much needed lawsuit involving two Democrat liberals that will cause turmoil within the MSM-13 because neither the Democratic Party nor MSM-13 can "blame Trump"!

---
I bet if we asked Ex-President Clinton to give us his definition of "pathological liar", he could do so in two words, " Every Democrat".

WRBL 3 headline/story: "Metro Narcotics Task Force to add gang investigations to focus *
There are major changes coming for the Metro Narcotics Task Force, which was established more than 30 years ago. * The Metro Narcotics Task Force will now be called the Metro Narcotics and Gang Task Force. The change comes as law enforcement officials say there is a connection to drug and gang activity in the Chattahoochee Valley. * The shift in focus was announced Wednesday afternoon during a news conference in the Columbus Public Safety Building. * “If you are a convicted felon, with a firearm, in Columbus, Georgia, dealing drugs and associated with gang activity, you are going to prison,” Columbus Police Chief Ricky Boren said." Two things.. thank heaven ex-mayor "Gangs.. we ain't got no stinkin' gangs in Columbus" Tom-LYING-son is losing her grip on Council...and let's hope those gang members charged are not run through the no-bail-required" or "early release for good behavior" programs.

Columbus L-E story: " The Trump administration is unveiling new visa restrictions aimed at restricting “birth tourism,” in which women travel to the U.S. to give birth so their children can have a coveted U.S. passport." -- You know,, while my personal thoughts are that the practice of granting instant American citizenship to any baby born on American soil to a non-US citizen should be banned, perhaps a more moderate aspect could be made to the mix.. let's say that such children either have to live with the birth mother in the US for 10 years, or the children be given instant citizenship only after the mother or provable birth father becomes an US Citizen via naturalization.

---
Columbus L-E headline: "Fight over Trump witnesses could go to Supreme Court" -- Good grief! This fight should have been fought in the House during the exercise in futility the Democrats have put our nation through.. Of course the real reason none of the witness requests were actually sent to the US Supreme Court is that the Democrats already KNEW the Supreme Court would side with the president (regardless WHO was president) on Executive Privilege for the calling of presidential legal advisers.

Few in Columbus, GA will actually notice the Death Notice of Ruth E Burn in today's Columbus L-E, as she left Columbus years ago and recently passed in Gastonia, NC to be with family.. Many will remember when they are reminded that Ruth Burns was our Little League District 8 Administrator for many, many years during some exciting times and growth.

Columbus L-E headline/story: "Carver makes a big statement against Westover * There was a last-minute venue change to Hardaway High School’s court that the team did not know about until the day prior. There was a slow start that resulted in a first-quarter deficit. There was also the pressure of needing a win against Westover, which it entered the night trailing in the region standings. * The Tigers, though, did not need them and rattled off a convincing 68-53 win over Westover, gaining ground on the Patriots in the region 1-4A standings" -- Congratulations to the Carver Tigers for an important win, but there's an aspect of the story left completely unaddressed... Why was the venue changed from Carver's home court to Hardaway? Surely, with all the money spent on building.. and rebuilding... the "new" Carver High School, that gym was more than adequate for this game.. unless some dubious concerns are floating about that Columbus citizens should be aware of...

Columbus L-E headline: "Microsoft must release tax records to IRS" -- Hmm.. Microsoft has been ordered to cough up documents concerning revenues shifted to Puerto Rico for better tax resolutions than in its home state of Washington... Excuse me, but since Puerto Rico is a territory OF the United States, and it's citizens are American citizens, why would their be different American tax rules in Puerto Rico?

Rumor has it Nancy PeLOUSY sent President Trump a Christmas Card saying, among other wishes, that she was "looking forward to kicking (Trump's) ass next year".. and the rumored response by President Trump was, "My Dearest Nancy, I see you have started your holiday celebrations much too soon. You're drunk. You misspelled kissing!
