online "headlie": "Homeownership at Lowest Level Since 1999" : --Wrong, it's just that banks own more house than they ought to.
---
Election 2010: Now this is pretty close to the "CHANGE" we "HOPED" for.
---
On the local front, what's the purpose of reporting election day precinct results when the early votes haven't been added in to show the real picture?
---
How did the media omit/miss Yusof Islam's (formerly Cat Stevens and wisher of Salman Rushdie's death)) performance at Jon Stewart's Washington Mall rally this past weekend?
---
A reporter for WTVM9 on site at the Wynnton Methodist Church polling place encouraged viewers to "call the Urban League" if you needed a ride to vote. Besides an obvious bias, why is a United Way recipient organization allowed to spend money promoting politics?
---
Giving Congress and other government workers "Cost-of-living" raises is a tax on everyone else because 'cost-of-living' increases occur because of poor government efficiency.
---
Liberal's L-E "soundoff": " When the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy took effect, my paycheck got smaller. When the Obama tax cuts for the middle-class took effect, my paycheck got bigger. Do the math. " -- Obviously a product of new math and re-written history, and he/she failed both subjects and got a social promotion.
---
What additional grief it must cause the parents when reading their teenage child's name in the headlines of a drug/murder story, whether as the victim or the accused.
---
With 5,000 "early votes" plus absentee ballots not being counted, how can the L-E make assumptions over wins and run-offs from yesterday's elections?
---
Without a doubt, yesterday's statewide election results mirrored my ballot in every race but one. I voted for Stan Gunter for the Court of Appeals because he was a District Attorney, and the rest of the candidates were just lawyers. Maybe he should have changed his name to Stan A-Gunter so he could have been the first name on the ballot.
---
Harry Reid, after pulling the vote, er, rabbit, out of his hat to win re-election, said, the 'the bell" that rung wasn't the end of the fight, but the "beginning of the next round". This is exactly what was wrong with DIM/DUMB's being in charge of Congress. They look at us as 'enemies' rather than citizens.
---
Glad Pop Barnes appears to be re-elected. Don't agree with all his stands, but Pop is his own man.
---
Looks like we're in for the most liberal Mayor/Council make-up we've ever had. How can voters do this after the last two years of watching a 'most liberal' Federal Government in action?
