Online headline: "Obama Has Little Chance of Success at G-20 Summit" -- Hmmm, and these are the people he started out apologizing to in '09. Think potUS Imam-a's apologizing to the American voter will help him in 2012?

Online story: "The study, published this week by the Council of the Great City Schools, found black males are twice as likely to drop out of high school than white males, and only 12 percent of them are proficient in reading by the fourth grade, compared with 38 percent of white males. * "There are a number of schools where poor black boys are doing well," Comer said. "That ought to raise the question of, 'What goes on there that's not going on in other places?' * "If we look at schools that are predominately black, and we look at the achievement of white kids who are in those schools, we find that the white kids don't do well either," Holzman told National Public Radio." -- All these taxpayer paid surveys show the same thing year after year. What's wrong is attitudes within the schools themselves, and the lead problems are lower expectations and political correctness distributed by feel-good liberals who care more for false esteem than results.

Can you envision rent-a-car companies dilemma about electric cars? How are they going to charge customers the high priced 'topping-off' the gas tank when cars are returned?
---
The fact that we will be able to go online to renew our car tags is good, but the fees the 'vendor' is charging are usurious. It's cheaper for us to mail in our renewals and more work and costs for the city, so the city should look harder at negotiating a more favorable credit card/electronic check fee.

There was an old joke that suggested that if you took away a persons Reader's Digest, they would become 'uninformed', but if you gave it back to them, they would become 'misinformed'. I guess you can say Keith Olbermann is the Reader's Digest of the 21st Century.

Parent alert! The movie "Morning Glory", with a cast surely that will appeal to your children and grandchildren carries a PG-13 rating. The rating factors include "profanity, sexual content, brief drug references". How can a parent trust Hollywood ratings as a general guide?

No matter what anyone can claim Congressman Bishop 'has done for Columbus/Ft Benning, at best he's one vote of 218 that must agree to pass legislation, it did not justify him diverting tax dollars for the personal benefit of his friends and family.
