2010...Ah! "Change", in the right direction; "Hope" that, "Yes, we can" return to prosperity beginning in 2012.

2 years ago, the mainstream media was eulogizing the Republican Party, yesterday, a 2 year 'wake' began for the DIM/DUMBorat Party.
---
Question: If the American voters agreed with potUS Imam-a, and believed the Republicans were responsible for not getting more things accomplished in Washington, the voters would have given potUS Imam-a more DIM/DUMBorats to work with.

This past weekend as I left Burger King in UPtown, I noticed a rather mundane building on the corner of 5th Ave & 12th St. What caught my attention was a fleet of 15 12-to-15 passenger vans parked in back with government license plates and the initials C T S on the side. It looks like some sort of taxpayer funded taxi company. Anyone familiar with this operation?

In 2009, Iowa’s Supreme Court overrode state law and the will of the people by ordering Iowa to recognize homosexual marriage. Three of the judges who participated in that ruling were on the ballot this fall, facing a retention vote. * In what the Des Moines Register on Wednesday called “a historic upset,” all three justices got thrown off the bench by the people of Iowa. This is unprecedented. No Iowa judge had ever failed to retain his seat on the bench since the retention system was adopted in Iowa in 1962. The AFA (American Family Associate) led an active and successful campaign to do this. Go AFA!

Don't know why pundits are continuing to group the 2 Independent Senators with the DIM/DUMBorats to make it look like the DIM/DUMBS still retain a majority in the Senate. After this election, I'll take odds that those 2 will align themselves more with the Republicans for the next two years.
---
Remember those DIM/DUMBorats that face ethics probes....Rangel et al... What must they be thinking knowing Nancy Pelosi want be there to divert/control the action?
---
Online story: "Federal authorities in San Diego have made one of the largest marijuana seizures in the United States, confiscating 20 tons of pot near an underground tunnel connecting warehouses on either side of California's border with Mexico, officials said Wednesday." -- Obviously California Proposition 19 advocates anxious to open up shop if it passed.
---
Something stinks...there were 3 city-wide elections this year but there is a wide range of the number of votes cast in the 3 races. For Mayor: 46,400; for MCSD 9: 42,800; for Council 9: 41,800. With active campaigns in all three races, it's hard to believe that 8-to-10% of the voters for Mayor didn't vote in the MCSD and Council at-large races.

While it's been quite common for Bishop to earmark entitlements in District 2 to sway voters, who'd have thought he would be brazen enough to give multiple earmarls to his own family & friends and still get re-elected. A sad day for GA/Columbus politics.

L-E story: "The Federal Reserve will sink $600 billion into government bonds in a bold plan that it hopes will drive interest rates even lower than they already are and start the chain reaction that finally creates jobs and invigorates the economy." -- Key words are "sink" and "economy". Inflation is not a cure for our ails; tax reductions will give the economy the only stimulus it needs.
---
From L-E story: GM reports "$2.1 Billion profit" ,and says IPO will raise $10Billion, $7B going to the US government and $3B going to the Canadian government and the union healthcare trust and former US bondholders. -- First of all, how many figures previously reported bt potUS Imam-a's spinmeisters have stood up to real time scruutiny, but more importantly, who wants to give his administration another $7Billion to spend on his programs? I'd shy away from this one.
---
From same story: While GM sales were up 36% in October, the top 3 sellers (up 58%) were SUV/Crossover luxury vehicles versus smaller 'fuel efficient' models. Once again Government Motors build more vehicles the people don't want. Government run businesses just don't get it!
