While the interest and motivation of CSU's Servant Leadership Program is beautiful, turning over the park to the MCSD is rather short sighted considering the track record of the MCSD maintenance attitude. Show me a MCSD maintained campus, school or library, that is maintained in a manner that shows the community it cares about its appearance.

Online headline: "Wall Street Axiom: No One Ever Went Broke Holding Coke" -- Ooops, my bad! Thought this was an expose` of the Mexican and South American drug cartel.
---
On a serious thought. I have a Standard & Poors' analysis report from the mid-1930's of my grandfather's stock holdings, and the senior VP recommended he divest his portfolio of Coca Cola because he "didn't see a future" for a company wanting to grow on consumers buying the product to have on hand in their homes.

Lets look directly at the problem of having too many progressives/centrists/moderates in Congress. Compromise basically means moving to the middle of the two sides of an issue. Using a 1-to-10 scale, with "10" being conservative and "1" being liberal, when a compromise is agreed on, it is generally going to be in the "4", "5", "6" range. If you start from a "5" position, compromise generally moves downward to the "4", "3", "2" range, with most results smelling like #2. Work and vote for the "10's" and "9's"!

The average American delivered "foreclosure" on the DIM/DUMBorat 'House'; who says there's not justice in the world?
---
Even though the Republicans did not win enough seats in the Senate to "be the majority", don't think that returning DIM/DUMBorat Senators, especially those running on potUS Imam-a's "coattails" in 2012, won't remember that Republicans won both Ted Kennedy's and potUS Imam-a's vacant Senate seats. Look for 'enough' to be willing to vote with the Republicans these next two years until 'we' get another opportunity to see if they are listening to "us" or potUS Imam-a.

Great year so far, Carver Tigers! Keep it going!

From L-E story concerning closing its 'production department': " “We save on utility costs because the press uses a lot of power,” she (Valerie Canepa) said, noting through September the newspaper’s electricity bill was 13 percent higher than the year before. “We save on property tax. We have all of these benefits.” -- How many articles has the L-E run stating that there is no inflation? How many ads has the L-E run from GA & AL Power Companies telling us what a good value electricity is? Is the L-E caught up on its tax payments? Lots of questions will go unanswered and/or ignored, and 56 more area families will languish. No wonder the L-E says, "Holiday Greetings" instead of "Happy Thanksgiving" and "Merry Christmas".
