Another good 'alert' from a fellow BCer: Peter Lewis, chairman of Progressive Insurance, has donated many millions of dollars to the ACLU and MoveOn.com ('snopes' confirmed). We have one of our daughters insured by Progressive, but that will stop after this 6 month period.

Excuse me, but what is the purpose of the L-E ad with the self-promoting pat-on-my-own-back Clerk of Municipal Court? To begin with, it promotes a beginning date that's almost 2 months past, but who authorized it, and who paid for it? If it was necessary as a 'legal ad', why was it printed in such large type rather than in a traditional 'legal section' format?
