With deadlines approaching for candidates to file their intention to run for the presidency in 2012, I'd like to know why the DIM&DUMBERat Party did not have the US Constitutionally required proof of potUS O'Blather's birth certificate when he qualified in 2007?

The two American hikers who were arrested in Iran are out on anonymous bail of $500,000.00 each. Only an uber liberal would consider returning to Iran for the court hearing, but which super-liberal would write off $1,000,000.00 of his/her own money? I have to think that somehow, we are going to lose that bail money. Perhaps, we should hire Dog, the Bounty Hunter to take them back.

Riding down 2nd Avenue, beginning about 30th St and going down to 20th St, the road has been resurfaced, patched, re-patched, and re-re-patched. For a brief period, the old brick surface re-surfaced. What this obviously indicates is that 2nd Avenue is not able to handle heavyweight vehicles, yet there is a steady stream of loaded dump trucks that use the J R Allen Parkway to access 2nd Avenue each day to get to 15th St before they reroute to Veterans Parkway to get to South Columbus sites. Council needs to immediately limit the use of heavy vehicles on 2nd Avenue. Perhaps making all such heavyweight trucks coming from the quarries use only Veterans Parkway to get to Southern destinations will alleviate the constant damage of a major thoroughfare.

Liberal politicians rail about the 'rich' paying their "fair share" but what the liberal politicians don't talk about is how much the 'rich' make in charitable donations to fund more efficient non-government efforts to bring support to the poor and needy and desperate in addition to the taxes paid. What we NEED is a LAW that says before anyone complains about what anyone else pays in taxes, the complainer must publish his/her own tax return and publish what he/she and his/her targets give to charity. Me thinks there will be less complaining by politicos.

DIM&DUMBERats just had a hand in defeating a spending bill...Wow...you'd think that D&Ds voting AGAINST spending money is a big deal....that is until you READ the bill. The bill was going to cut $1.5 BILLION dollars from a government loan program "to help companies build fuel efficient cars". You would think the SOLYNDRA scam would have an effect on D&Ds, but obviiously D&Ds could care less about wasting another $1.5 BILLION if it might make unions madder. Besides, when companies build fuel efficient cars that consumers want, then consumers will buy them, and companies will flourish.
