Online headline: "Obama Will Meet With Palestinian President On Wednesday" -- And probably taking him a gift of a cured kosher Virginia ham.

Online headline: "Charlie Sheen Keeps It Classy as Emmys Presenter" -- Only the HuffPost could use "classy" and Charlie Sheen in the same breath.

L-E story: "Columbus police arrested a sex offender Monday afternoon they say was walking around Lakebottom Park with his pants around his ankles. * Records state that Farmer, who was held Tuesday afternoon on $597.50 bonds, served about four years in prison on a 2001 conviction of enticing a child for indecent purposes. He was given a year’s probation for a 2005 public indecency conviction and another three years’ probation with 90 days in jail for a 2006 conviction of failure to register as a sex offender" -- Who was the judge that would give this known 3-time loser a meetable bail so he could get back on the street?

In his column about being a witness to two previous executions Richard Hyatt says he didn't 'cringe' but then he didn't feel safer either. Maybe Richard didn't/doesn't feel any safer, but who knows how many families have been unknowingly safer that these men were never let back onto the street? Justice was served.

Watching uber-liberal Alan Colmes defend his position on redistribution of wealth 0n The O'Reilly Factor just confirms for me that he's a case of 'affirmative action' for liberals by Fox News. Fox pays him so they can present a constant reminder for normal people to remember what liberals want to do to our country.

Now every car ad is proclaiming how 'smart' their cars are. Wouldn't it be better and cheaper if the drivers were smarter?

American Idol celebrity Randy Jackson talked with a Fox News reporter with Fox & Friends at the Emmy Awards. He said he once loaned Brian Kilmead deodorant because it's bad to go on TV with BO. I agree, but then again, I'll bet Randy Jackson wasn't referencing potUS BO.

How does Warren Buffet figure he doesn't pay enough taxes? Just the income taxes his CPAs pay for figuring out how Buffet can pay less is probably a fortune.

You know, the only minimum wage that should be in effect is the wage an employer thinks is appropriate, and an employee thinks is worth his/her time and effort. What the minimum wage passed by Congress does is raise the bar for union contracts already in force.

One of the L-E's reporters/bloggers asked her Facebook fans whether all states should require valid government-issued ID at the ballot box. Miss Sorich chose this response to publish in the L-E: "So long as each state offers free and easy access to the necessary forms of identification, then I have no problem with requiring ID at the ballot box." -- The purpose of a government issued ID is that it be verifiably valid and proof of a person' identity. Free and easy access to forms will not insure that. Maybe Miss Sorich and the answerer would like ACORN to distribute such forms, or maybe there should be ID form boxes placed in Mexico along the border so illegal aliens can have them filled out before applying for US social services.
