If potUS O'Blather wants the super-rich to pay more in taxes, then eliminate loopholes created for only the super-rich. Take George Soros for example. He donates millions to "MovingOn.com" (a 501 (c) 3 organization) and gets to deduct that donation from his taxes.

CSU has really displayed its lack of concern for the City's needs this week. With Bikes on Broadway and the Friday Night Concert going on Friday night, CSU did not open the Front Avenue Garage upper floors to help with the parking problem such events cause, and this week, with the Ft Benning event going on at the Trade center, not only did CSU not offer to open its gated parking for public use, CSU continues not to monitor the use of students and staff clogging up the 1st Floor public parking.

I've heard it all. After having the Solyndra chief executive in the White House to play up his 'green economy' commitment by supporting a $550+ Million dollar loan to Solyndra, potUS O'Blather is now blaming the forfeiture and bankruptcy on President Bush because the loan application was filed when Bush was still president. potUS O'Blather...it was you who co-signed the loan!
---
You also really have to wonder if Solyndra filed its 'quarterly reports' in a truthful and timely manner.

potUS O'Blather's new campaign web site, www.attackwatch.com, has proclaimed that he is the most supportive administration of Israel. Perhaps we should get Netanyahu's opinion on this...QUICK!

When the Post Office first announced the "Forever Stamp", I bought a ton thinking it would be a pretty good long term 'investment'. The first couple of years, I patted myself on the back; now I'm worried I might have to write them off. So much for 'investing' in government services.

When Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D&D - NY and Chairwoman of the D&D National Committee, said that the results of the special election to replace Anthony Weiner was really a non-event because the NY 9th District has always been a 'difficult' district for D&Ds, I did a double take of "Huh?". The 9th has always been a difficult district for D&D? There have been 46 straight elections before this special election in which a D&D was the winner. What was difficult to understand about that for Ms Wasserman-Schultz?

Remember Jose Baez? He was/is Casey Anthony's attorney. Well, now he's representing Gary Giordano who 'lost' can't find' his playmate he took to Aruba. Bet Baez is trying to arrange for Casey Anthony's jury panel to be vacationing during the same week Giordano goes to trial.

Online headline/story: "Bradley Johnson, California Math Teacher, Has No Constitutional Right To Use Banners Referring To God, Judge Rules * Johnson had displayed the approximately 7-foot-by-2-foot banners -- one of which had the four phrases "In God We Trust," "One Nation Under God," "God Bless America," and "God Shed His Grace On Thee" -- in his classroom at another school for nearly 20 years. But when he came to Westview High School, Principal Dawn Kastner said the banners were "a promotion of a particular viewpoint" and ordered Johnson to take them down, * Judge Richard Tallman of the appeals court wrote in the ruling that while Johnson can make his views known on the nation's religious history beyond the schoolyard, it is not appropriate for him to do so in the classroom." -- Hmmm, do you think this judge, or the Principal for that matter, would have made an issue of a Muslim (or Jewish) boy wearing a head cover inside the school? No way!

Gonna backtrack on whether Ft Benning (as a government entity) should be renting the Trade & Convention Center from the City (another government entity). The exposition was a real asset and bonus. I did have one 'at odds' moment. One of the vehicles on display caught my eye, and as I walked around to look inside, I was stopped and prohibited because I wasn't a government employee. I questioned that by saying "No, I'm not an employee, I'm more like a government EMPLOYER as well as an American citizen. Still didn't get to look inside. Bummer...I mean Hummer.

Does anyone have the final count of BRAC students that entered the MCSD system? Preparation was based on 4,000+ being expected, and the last figure I remember being mentioned was less than 100. Also, what is the total enrollment for the 2011-12 school year?

Online story: "Religious broadcaster Pat Robertson told his "700 Club" viewers that divorcing a spouse with Alzheimer's is justifiable because the disease is "a kind of death." * During the portion of the show where the one-time Republican presidential candidate takes questions from viewers, Robertson was asked what advice a man should give to a friend who began seeing another woman after his wife started suffering from the incurable neurological disorder. * "I know it sounds cruel, but if he's going to do something, he should divorce her and start all over again, but make sure she has custodial care and somebody looking after her," Robertson said." -- Hmmm, I'm gonna bet there is a new press release being written as we speak that Robertson has developed Alzheimer's himself and doesn't remember saying this.
