I remember the first time I heard the phrase "denied effective legal help", and said we'd be hearing that a lot more often as anyone convicted could make that claim, and here it is again.

Election suggestion: Let's go back to electing the VP like it used to done. Let who ever comes in second in the presidential election be the VP. That way, the opposing party would preside over the Senate, and legislation would probably stay focused on solutions rather than earmarks and vote buying entitlement laws.
