Online headline/story: "Barack Obama Campaign Attacks Mitt Romney Over Swiss Bank Account * When is the last time a presidential candidate for the United States had a Swiss bank account? I think the answer is never." -- On the other hand, when is the last time before potUS O'Blather that a president's birth certificate has been questioned... that's a 'never' answer, too. --- Online story: "VICTORIA, Texas, April 9 (Reuters) - It hasn't been long since Caterpillar Inc looked like the typical resident of the Rust Belt. Having misjudged how deep the U.S. economy would decline, the world's largest maker of construction machinery reduced its workforce by 33,000 people worldwide in 2009, closed plants and posted lower profits. * But the Peoria, Illinois-based company has mounted a quick recovery and is emerging as the poster child for America's manufacturing renaissance." -- "Having misjudged how deep the U.S. economy would decline"? It looks like Caterpillar judged pretty accurately and responded appropriately and immediately...something the DIM&DUMBERats under potUS O'Blather failed to do. --- The latest from barackobaba.com: "Warren Buffett, a billionaire, pays a lower tax rate than his secretary. * Think that's unfair? So does Warren Buffett. * Right now, millionaires and billionaires have nearly the lowest tax rates they've had in 50 years, while everyone else picks up the tab. * So President Obama is asking Congress to pass a commonsense bill, known as the Buffett Rule, to fix the tax code and make sure that millionaires and billionaires pay at least the same share of their income in taxes as middle-class familiechANGEs." -- potUS O'Blather is blowing smoke (and probably not cigarette) again. If the Warren Buffets have a tax change, it will be because their accountants make sure they have no income and will pay the same tax as the nearly 50% who already don't pay income taxes. --- The only thing that would make me want to sit through "Titantic - 3D" would be the possibility of an alternate ending. --- How can potUS O'Blather support women's rights, and at the same time, promote friendships with countries that live with sharia law ? --- Do you think anyone at Jos. A. Bank actually knows what the regular price of a suit is? --- The Charter Review Commission should be ashamed of itself in saying that it caved to political pressure when none voted against removing the service fee proposal from the ballot. PERIOD! --- Speaking of political pressure (or the lack of it): Mayor Obamalinson has said the Dale Hester crimes of conversion et al have been turned over to the District Attorney, but it's up to the DA to push for any action. Sounds like a whitewash to me. --- potUS O'Blather's campaign team is trying to come up with a catchy new slogan since last time's edition of "HOPE & CHANGE" is out. I suggest " No More Years! No More Years!" --- L-E's "Thought for Today": “Take from me the hope that I can change the future, and you will send me mad.” — Israel Zangwill, English dramatist (1864-1926)." -- Hmmm, we can see where potUS O'Blather got his 2008 slogan; we've been there , got the t-shirt, and now were are mad as hell and aren't going to take it anymore! --- A letter writer to the L-E says the "conservative Supreme Court justices are a bunch of political hacks in black robes" because HELL-thScare is being reviewed. Well, Ron Lowe, have you even read what you and other DIM&DUMBERats refer to as the "Affordable Care Act" since it was blindfoldedly passed? I'm willing to think you haven't. I'll bet the house that the Supreme Court justices have, and are a lot better informed than you. ---
