Online story: "New York Police Commissioner Ray Kelly said all nine bystanders wounded in Friday's Empire State Building shooting had been hit with police gunfire, CNN reported Saturday morning. * According to Kelly, of the nine wounded, three suffered gunshot wounds and six were hit by fragments. " -- Mayor Bloomberg should be more concerned with his police officers putting more time in at the firing range than with what Bloomberg thinks they should be putting into their mouths to eat.

Online headine: "Anti-Obama Movie Is a Hot Ticket" -- Don't you know Michael Moore is kicking himself for not figuring this out?

---

Online story: "SUGAR LAND, Texas — Roger Clemens was back on the mound at age 50, striking out hitters again. * Pitching for the first time in five years, Clemens tossed 3 1-3 scoreless innings Saturday night for the Sugar Land Skeeters of the independent Atlantic League." -- Speaking of movies, do we see a sequel, "The REAL Natural" in our future?

---

Call it a coincidence, but it's more ironic, even cryptic that two men named Armstrong died in the past week. Neil Armstrong will continue his life with a deeper journey into heaven, while Lance Armstrong will have to endure hell on Earth.

In Montana, a cow escaped while being loaded into a transporter. After futilely trying to get the cow to cooperate, a police sniper took the cow down from about 25 yards. Where are the gun control freaks when we actually need them? It was in Montana, where cowboys with ropes are abundant. Guess most gun control freaks are veggans.

Paul Rand, R-KY, wants the Kentucky Ah Director to push for legalizing the growing of hemp as a cash crop. How come the media doesn't rip conservatives apart when they talk about legalizing drugs?

-- Wow! Just what every school system wants/needs.... T-shirts with political slogans emblazoned across the chest. Wonder how principals will discipline students wearing "It is a BFD" King/Queen Arpege/Biden T-shirt?
---
I am constantly amazed at the focus of King Arpege's campaign strategy... it's like he's running against himself to defeat and replace himself.
---
Oh! We had a sleepover at our house last night. Soprecious, a.k.a. Sophia Grace, spent her first night with us!
---
Have you noticed a very similar situation concerning the Whitewater Project and the National Infantry Museum? Well, every time there's a story about them, the completion costs go up.
---
Don't you know the L-E is furious at having to put President Bush coming to town in a favorable manner?
---
It's more than baffling why the L-E does not identify "frequent" columnist Karl Douglass as a staff member of the Sanford Bishop re-election team? Actually, Bishop would probably benefit if people thought Karl's words reflected Bishop's positions.

The grants coming in front of Council from the Public Safety LOST revenue to fund projects of the Public Safety Commission all need more scrutiny, but one in particular needs to be examined under a microscope... $72,311 is earmarked for the Junior Marshal's Program that was exposed as snakepit of greed and crime as a good portion of the original grant made by Congressman Bishop's efforts went to paying salaries to Vivian Bishop's daughter and son-in-law though they lived in Atlanta. Adding even more insult to the injury, Mrs Bishop's son-in-law's salary checks were direct deposited into HER account. If anybody needs to submit several years of tax returns, it's both Bishops.
While we are at it, lets not forget that many reserved Congressional scholarship dollars were directed by Congressman Bishop to his staff and family members which was a major 'no-no'.
---
One thing that needs to be exposed before any grant is made by the Public Safety Commission is how much in administrative salary is paid to the recipients. Grants made by the Public Safety Commission should be with the stipulation that no money can be used for salaries of the executive officers.

If amending truck routes is a power of the Council, why doesn't Council regulate the dump trucks that are tearing up Second Avenue form 30th St to 18th Street?
---
One former member of the BC and the legal profession has expressed his displeasure at my position about the cases being sent back to court for "ineffective counsel". I actually deplore the situation because no lawyer needs to be humiliated for defending a habitual criminal as best he/she can with the circumstances the defendant created. Even the best defense is going to lose most of those cases, and in cases won on technicalities, the community loses as well.
---
With so many, too many, 'overturns of cases based on "ineffective counsel", it seems the GA Supreme Court wants criminals back on the street rather than in jail. I know jails are expensive, but it's less costly than putting habitual criminals back out on the streets.
---
County's Midnight Run... a fantastic community event for so many has become a gathering place for underaged drinkers to amass. The police, whether off-duty or not, need to control this situation.
