Online story: " President Barack Obama urged immigrants thrown into limbo
by legal wrangling to keep planning for eventual relief, professing confidence
Wednesday that his deportation directives won't be thrown out in court. * "This
is just one federal judge," Obama said of the district judge in Texas who put
Obama's order on hold." -- "just one federal judge"? This must make all the
other federal judges feel special...NOT. Of course, if this "just one federal
judge" had ruled in his favor, Obamageddon would compared this "just one federal
judge" to have more wisdom than Solomon...

HuffPOOPOO headline: "Wisconsin Lawmakers Pass Right-To-Work Bill As
Thousands Protest" -- Hmmm purely mainstream media bias.. how about the 100s of
1000s that celebrated!
---
The above story reminds me of a 1960's joke.. Russia was known for it's
poorly manufactured cars that were pirated copies of other countries cars. Joke:
Russia challenged the US to a car race.. their fastest against our fastest.. Car
were selected and the race was held. The US car ran rings around the Russian
entry. Russian headline the next day, "Russia finishes 2nd, Americans finish
next-to-last".. To liberals, it's not just the facts, but how you can
misrepresent the facts to make you look better.
---
HuffPOOPOO headline: "Jonathan Gruber Ousted From Massachusetts Health
Panel" -- Good grief... Gruber should have been fired months ago, but now
mainstream media will blame his dismissal as Republican politics.

Online story: "The driver of a pickup truck that a Southern California
commuter train smashed into at a railroad crossing did "all he could" to free
the vehicle from the tracks and then ran for help before the crash that injured
dozens, his lawyer said. * Attorney Ron B(_*_)mieh said that a preliminary
investigation conducted by his firm showed the truck became entangled on the
railroad tracks and "somehow stuck" before the crash Tuesday * the driver did
not abandon the truck but rather went for help * the driver didn't call
authorities because he was "in shock" and didn't even he had a phone"?he had a
phone on him * the driver only speaks Spanish, and two people he encountered
could not understand him, the lawyer said." -- "didn't abandon"? "went for
help"? "didn't realize he had a phone"? Hmmm.. sounds more like the script of a
Saturday Night Live starring Jon Lovitz - "yeah, that's the ticket" - as the
lawyer. Truth was that the truck was not "stuck" and the driver set the
emergency brake on the truck before he fled the scene.

Online headline: "Italian fisherman may have caught world's largest wels
catfish" -- Hmmm, wanna bet HEBDObama called him to see if he wanted a job as a
White House spokesperson..
---
HuffPOOPOO "headlie": "Recreational Marijuana Now Legal In D.C." -- I do
not care that a state's, or even Washington, D.C's voters vote to legalize
marijuana, there is an existing federal law that still says marijuana is
illegal..
---
Online story: "Last November, Latonya Suggs, a 28-year-old Cincinnati woman
with an infant son, went to a hotel ballroom in Southern California and told two
of the federal government's top education officials that the U.S. Department of
Education had failed her. * The previous month, Suggs had graduated from Everest
University, a for-profit college, with a degree in criminal justice. Her online
program, one of many owned by Corinthian Colleges Inc., saddled her with more
than $70,000 in debt. She had hoped the degree would lead to a career as a
probation officer. Instead, she could only find work as a hotel housekeeper" --
Good grief.. tp begin with, anyone who would conceded her/his "worth" after a 30
day venture into job searching surely isn't qualified to do work in the criminal
justice system. The real problem here is the "student loan system" working with
pop-up colleges. Colleges that don't have a history of success in any particular
field should not be allowed to take on students who have to have non-asset
backed loans.
---
Online story: "The Clinton Foundation was on the defensive Wednesday after
disclosing that it had accepted millions of dollars from several foreign
governments while Hillary Clinton was secretary of state, including one donation
that violated the foundation's ethics agreement with the Obama administration."
-- "ethics agreement with the Obama administration"? Good grief.. that sounds
more like another Saturday Night Live skit! What's important is the "ethics
agreement" politicians should have with America.
---
Online story: "If a zombie outbreak were to strike US shores, East Coasters
should head west ASAP. That recommendation comes by way of Cornell University
researchers, who have modeled the statistical mechanics of, yes, zombies and
will present their findings at a meeting of the American Physical Society on
March 5 in San Antonio." -- Yes, moms and dads, universities are taking your
education funds you started saving when your babies were born, and teaching crap
like this.. hope you were not co-signing student loans to pay for your children
to attend Cornell et al.

Facts staring at us on the MCSD website: Administrative salaries in the MC
school system went up $2,280,671.96 from $22,862,181.64 to $25,142,853.60 in
2014 versus 2013. That's almost a 10% increase at a time that teachers and bus
drivers and other support personnel were told to "suck it up" that they weren't
getting raises.. Now Superintendent Lewis has lyingly dangled the thought of
them getting a raise if the SPLOST passes.. SPLOST money cannot be used for
salaries and benefits for school personnel... not even the administrative
staffs. So, it looks like despite shortfalls of the previous SPLOST, and
shortfalls of state revenues, the administrative staff got extra money that had
to be held back from the teachers and the classroom. Vote "NO confidence" today
...well.. if you can find a parking place at the early voting place...
---
So far.. if the SPLOST passes, and since there are no set priorities, there
are only two entities that know they will benefit from the SPLOST. Some bank
will collect $4,000,000.00 in bond float fees to get $70,000,000.00 into the
hands of the school system in a hurry, and retailers will collect 3% of the
taxes they collect for the SPLOST. Yes some bank is promised $4,000,000.00 up
front, and retailers, if the $192,000,000.00 is generated, will collect
$5,760,000.00 in collection fees. That's right, $11,760,000.00 is going into
corporate pockets.
---
You know, if "SPLOST committee" really knew what "they" were doing, "they"
would decide on one or two projects that could be funded with only two years of
tax revenue. That way, "we" could see something getting done, and "we" might be
eager to support another couple of more worthwhile projects the next time.
---
Online headline: "Weather threat postpones Georgia's first execution of a
woman in 70 years" -- Good grief.. maybe... maybe if GA still used the electric
chair, there might be a "weather argument" concerning an electrical outage to be
concerned about, but postponing lethal injections because of possible weather?
What could go wrong.. even if an electrical administrating device was used to
deliver the injectioons, it could easily be backed up by a human injection.
Heck, I give my cat two injections a day.. how hard would that be for skilled
medical practioners? Heck.. I'll even volunteer to do it.
---
Thinking about the above decision of the Georgia Department of
Corrections.. are any of our MCSD board members of the DOC board? I just
remember the number of school days that have been canceled by the THREAT of
snow...
---
Even more alarming is Farrakhan's fractured history lesson on the birth of
America.. according to him, blacks built America before the Europeans came over.
---
Susan Rice, HEBDObama's United States National Security Advisor and
speaking dummies, is out trashing Netanyahu.. Why? There's really no explanation
other than to keep Islamist hierarchy at ease.

WTVM9 story: "The White House threatened Wednesday to veto a Republican
bill to overhaul the widely criticized No Child Left Behind law, calling the
effort "a significant step backwards." * Republicans say the bill would restore
local control in schools and stop top-down education mandates. Democrats say it
would allow billions in federal dollars to flow out without ensuring they will
improve student learning." -- "without ensuring they will improve student
learning"? Good grief.. is Obamageddon seeking a job on the MCSD Board? He'd fit
right in with the 7 that are for the 2015 SPLOST as it has been presented.
---
Obama vetoed the the Keysone XL pipeline bill that would create good paying
jobs and now threatens to veto any educational overhaul bills the Republicans
present.. I guess it sorta suggests Obamageddon is happy with the state of our
children's public education..
---
Obamageddon has made two veto promise recently.. one of which he has
already kept.... Don't you just hate it when a professional liar actually keeps
a promise..it just disrupts the time line continuum. It also brings up an
opportunity for mainstream media to question Obamageddon on his broken ones.
Wanna bet how far this flies?
---
Online story: "Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel failed to capture a majority of
the vote in Tuesday's municipal election, forcing the former White House chief
of staff into a potentially embarrassing runoff this spring against Cook County
Commissioner Jesus "Chuy" Garcia." -- Whoa! Maybe Obamageddon's coattails are
getting even slipperier.
---
Online story: " Hillary Clinton is scheduled to step up her public
appearances in March, appearing at a gala for EMILY's List, which supports
female Democratic candidates who support abortion rights," -- Hmmm Emily's List
supports only women Liberals. Not exactly a good example for all women getting
equal pay for equal work.

L-E story: "Nearly 150 people surveyed in Columbus last month indicated
they were homeless and slept unsheltered on Jan. 26, according to data compiled
by Home for Good. * In addition to the 149 people who said they slept outside on
Jan. 26, another 135 said they were homeless and slept in shelters that night. *
“The good news, with basically 285 people who were identified," -- You know..
we... my family and church.. support numerous homeless organizations in the
Columbus area; and have been as long as I can remember. We sympathize with each
individual no matter what the circumstances that have contributed to his/her
current state, but I am concerned about some of the government agencies'
efforts, even our United Way efforts. Numbers just don't add up. From the United
Way page on "Home for Good" is this mission statement:
"On any given day, there are more than 1500 people experiencing
homelessness in Columbus. Home for Good: The Alliance to End Homelessness is
charged with implementing the 10-Year Plan to End Homelessness. The 10-Year Plan
provides the framework for advancing the community from a model of managing the
immediate needs of homelessness to ending homelessness through long-term
planning and key strategies. " -- 285, while way too many, is a far way from
1,500. Perhaps it's not all the homeless that are really benefiting from United
Way donations and City of Columbus tax dollars.

Jonathan Gruber LIV's L-E "soundoff": "The solution for school district
money woes is to save millions by eliminating the finance, technology,
maintenance, HR, and construction staffs and let Myers and Thomas handle it all,
since they’re such experts in everything." -- Well.. with a lawyer and an
accountant, they certainly might do better...
---
You know.. if the MCSD had anything to campaign on other than "Vote Yes for
Kids", there wouldn't be such opposition for this SPLOST. Where are the campaign
signs stating the MCSD will guarantee "the kids" will be better educated than
they have for the past SPLOSTs?
---
L-E headline/story: "MARTIN’S MOM: ZIMMERMAN GOT AWAY WITH MURDER * MIAMI —
The mother of Trayvon Martin says she’s disappointed with the Justice
Department’s decision not to prosecute her son’s killer." -- Hmmm.. justice was
metered...so it's not justice she wanted... it was/is vengeance.. Ms Fulton
would do herself more good at just coming to grips with reality.
---
After looking at the "Search and Screen Committee" list looking for the new
CSU president, I found it quite overloaded with professors.. in fact, of the 17
members, 9 are professors, or even associate professors. To me, this is like
having a majority of foxes on a search committee to find a new henhouse security
chief.
---
One thing for sure coming out of the SPLOST discussions is that the
architect and general contractor that approved construction methods and built
Spencer should be publicly exposed, admonished, mand put on a permanent "banned"
list from any future dealing using tax dollars.
---
L-E story: "Back in September, the hot topic at the Muscogee County School
Board’s work session was a heated debate about the $3,000 it costs to provide
meals for board members after their meetings. * Well, an anonymous donor has
settled the argument, making a generous contribution to cover that expense,
District 7 representative Shannon Smallman told Chatter on Wednesday. * “I can’t
say what that somebody intended,” she said, “but I can imagine it was so that
the issue isn’t the center of attention, so we can focus on the important
stuff.”" -- Hmmm... so it's OK with the L-E...then why is the L-E upset with
lobbyist doing the same thing with Representatives? You know, all extreme
lobbying began with a small favor.. does the L-E feel that if a 'favor' is a
little, it's not as bad.. of course.. it's those unchecked "little favors" that
become "not enough", and escalate into the clandestine bribes of tomorrow. While
we're talking about, why is the Civic Center manager still have the power to
distribute "free" event tickets to other employees/friends and Councilors. Those
"free tickets" are built into the cost the event promoter must charge paying
customers to make the event profitable.
---
L-E observation: "And — speaking of money in the wallet — it appears things
have improved enough in the economy that the percentage of folks contemplating a
delay in their retirement is falling." -- I guess that's how liberals think...
more than likely, people are retiring from their businesses before they have to
declare bankruptcy and lose the rest of their nest eggs.

Online headline: "Grammy-winning singer cancels shows after being denied
entry into Canada" -- Ooops, my bad.. thought Canada had pulled in the "Welcome
Mat" for Justin Bieber...
