From the "what happened" department: Has Missouri changed it's nickname? I think I recall its nickname being the "Show Me" state, but in Tuesday's primaries, Clinton got 49.61% of the vote to Bernie's 49.37%. and Trump versus Cruz was 40.92% to 40.73%. Maybe Missouri will become the "Coin Flip" state.
---
On the other hand. Missouri did "show me" that all Democrats prefer a socialist. and 80+% of Missouri Republicans prefer a conservative.. oh, and that nearly 50% more Republican voters went to the polls versus Democrats!
---
There's a list out of places that the Zika carrying mosquitoes might unexpectedly "thrive" during the summer months in the US.. Washington, D.C. is on the "moderate" list.. I think it should be at the top of the list.. the atmosphere of Washington, D.C. is perfect breeding ground for bloodsucking parasites.

You know.. there are a number of "free taxi" services for medical transportation we taxpayers pay for.. the worst (I sincerely hope) is C.T.S.. I have reported what looks like a misuse of such vehicles several times in the past, but it appears that no one in government cares.. I took these pictures on Tuesday March 15th. Not only is the C.T.S. van parked at Target, it's parked in a "handicap" space.

Online headline/story: "A Look Inside Donald Trump's Lavish, $200 Million 'Palace' * If Donald Trump were to actually win the presidency, one of his homes almost certainly would be in the spotlight: Mar-a-Lago. Already, when Trump won a victory in 3 states’s primaries Tuesday, he delivered his speech from Mar-a-Lago. Like George Bush’s Kennebunkport compound and George W. Bush’s Crawford, Texas retreat, Trump’s Mar-a-Lago is a luxurious escape for his family." -- You know, I find it particularly offensive that a story about Trump's successes being compared to compounds owned by Bush family's. yet not one mentioned of the well.. you pick the adjective "famous/infamous" Kennedy compounds.
---
You know.. it's sorta ironic that after Romney was picked apart by mainscream media for having accrued $200-$300-million in wealth and that Trump's "compound" may be worth more than Romney....
---
Online headline: "The Kremlin Is Not Happy With Donald Trump's New Campaign Ad" -- Good grief.. after 7 years of (name change alert!) ZERO-bamageddon, of course Putin is concerned about someone "with a set " versus Hillary taking over. Just another reason to vote for Trump.
---
Check out this list: Mercedes-Benz, Chrysler, Dodge, Infiniti, Cadillac, Ram, Jeep, Fiat... these name are the worst 8 vehicles based on "reliability" according to Consumer Reports. What's even more suspect is that 7 of the vehicles (Infiniti is the odd man out) are (or were) associated with the GM and Chrysler bailouts. Not only do GM and Chrysler still owe American taxpayers "big bucks", they still owe us better products as well.
---
Online headline: "Michelle Obama responds to calls to run for president" -- Hey, don't laugh... she's a Democrat and already trained in spending other people's money in wasteful ways.
---
Online headline/story: "Fast & Furious guns tracked to police killings, 'El Chapo' hideout, ATF confirms *
According to a report compiled for two Republican congressional committee chairmen, a WASR-10 rifle purchased six years before in the U.S. as part of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives' (ATF) Operation Fast and Furious was one of three rifles used in a July 27 attack in the town of Valle de Zaragoza that left three Mexican police officers dead." -- When will DOJ heads roll?

Once again, the Civic Center really embarrassed Columbus last night. With it's short drive way limiting the number of cars that could be processed to stop and pay the $5.00 parking charge, traffic was blocked to 10th Street when Elton John first took the stage. What a shock it must have been for him to come on to stage and see a couple of thousand empty seats. On the other hand, Elton John is a great and gracious entertainer, and when we got there at 8:45, the ticket "scanner" told us he had delayed, and was just on his second song.
---
The concert itself was amazing.. what a successful entertainer.. his repertoire of hit songs is so vast and incredible that in two solid hours+ of performing, he did not play either my bride's nor my favorites. but it didn't matter.. every song was memorable... and somebody's favorite.
---
Hey Civic Center.. why not have the parking fee built into the ticket price.. you'd speed up access to the parking lots, and.. you'd have some accountability for the money.. With cars being relegated to parking on the grass and "right of way", there had to be 4,000 to 5,000 cars onsite. I have another question as well. how does the accounting work? People are taking up $5.00 a car ($20,000 to $25,000.00) in cash, but there was no ticket given to get an accurate count of vehicles, thus no accountability for cash revenues.
---
You know...some the GOP establishment candidates' voters are claiming they won't support Trump They should realize most of the voters invigorated BY Trump won't be going to the poll to support a moderate candidate pushed by the RNC.
---
Did you hear that the "Subway" pedophile, Jared Fogle, was assaulted in Colorado prison.... and?
---
Remember the description of the 10th Street lane markings that have a bicycle lane that goes between the passenger side of parallel parked cars and the curb? This is Mayor TomLYINGson's response: "Thanks Hal. This is actually thought to be a preferred design and is a considered a "protected" bike lane. You can Google the design and see it recognized as a best practices design. If you want to call our Engineering or Design Departments, they can get you that information, too. Teresa Pike Tomlinson - Mayor - Columbus Consolidated Government"
My response: "You mean Columbus taxpayers actually have paid for this design? No wonder the budget is so wacky."

Hillary says we have to address and eliminate all discrimination. Hmmmm..did anyone hear her say how she would stop discriminating against the successful, Christians, men, or whites?
---
You know...the Republican Party shouldn't be celebrating Kasich's "win" in Ohio..I mean, how.embarrassing.is it for the sitting governor of a state not being able to get support from more than half of the voters in Ohio's Republican Party, and Trump getting more than third of such voters?
---
One of thing that will make Trump more successful as a president than any Democrat or career Republican politician is that Trump will appoint talented and successful people in government jobs versus a Dem or Rep career politician appointing a friend or other politically correct persons to such key jobs.
---
The MCSD could have bought the home at 1661 Forest Avenue across from the school which has 4 times the land which could have accommodated all the excess cars that CHS students drive at a little more than twice what the MCSD paid for Council-candidate Walker's "vacant" home..
---
From the "fractured headlines" department: "Canada to seek UN Security
Council seat" -- Hmmm.. I bet Canada meant to say "Canada to seek UN
Security Blankie".
---
L-E story: " Three of the four Tax Allocation Districts that Columbus
Council has approved so far are blighted areas. But the other one centers on
downtown, which faces a different kind of challenge. * Uptown Columbus CEO
Richard Bishop, who lobbied council to approve the TAD, said he may have had a
tougher time selling the Uptown TAD than those pushing the other three, but
ultimately councilors saw the wisdom in approving it." -- Good grief..
restoration of old buildings already get tax exemptions or deferrals, and
thi=ose that don't are bought up by CSU and pretty are removed from City
taxes.. where on earth would increase taxes come from?
---
Today really starts the NCAA's March Insaneness.. Insaneness because v=can
anyone make a reasonable argument that any of today's televised games is worth
the time or effort to turn on your TV?
---
From the "wacky world of finances" department - L-E story: " The London
Stock Exchange and Germany’s Deutsche Boerse say they are merging in an
all-stock deal that will leave the German side with a majority in a company
worth about $30 billion." -- How do countries using two different currencies
(Pound and Euros) merge financial institutions and come up with a value stated
in dollars?
