Ted Cruz had a way he could have shown leadership in the hit ad on Trump's wife...but he blew it. As soon as those despicable ads featuring Trump's bride began running, he could have made a statement that he didn't approve of them, and ask that PAC to pull them.... but...he didn't.

---
Again...just discount any Trump vs Hillary polls. Cruz and Kasich supporters will say they support Hillary rather than Trump.

---
From the "suspicions confirmed" department: No wonder Kasich seems to fare well in head-to-head "if vs if" polls against Hillary...the Democrats believe he's running in the Democrat primaries after he said he might name a Democrat as his VP choice

We've been played. Wednesday, the GA House version of Mayor TomLYINGson's assault on the local economy was tabled by the Senate for questionable legal language. An alternative was written which would have required reconsideration by the House, but somehow the original House version was re-inserted into the mix and passed. One local Senators ratted us out. Seems Ed Harbison would not approve the amended version so the original went back to the Senate floor. Do something about him..District 15.

I think I'm going to get into the "orange safety barrel" business.. have you noticed how many.. what ..there must be 1000s of them on the streets of Columbus. Guess Council just buys more every time a street problem pops up.. it's a cheaper band-aid than actually fixing the street problems.

---
Of course ZERO-bamageddon went dancing in Argentina...he's a professional dancer around important issues. Of course, the tango was an upgrade.. normally, he's use to tap-dancing.

---
Online story: "Referencing a hypothetical Supreme Court vacancy six months before a presidential election, Biden in 1992 warned that a hearing amid a contentious presidential election season would be "not fair to the president, to the nominee, or to the Senate itself" and recommended not holding hearings. * But later in the speech -- and the core of Biden's defense against what GOP lawmakers have named the Biden rule -- the then-chairman said consideration of a nomination should go forward if the president consults with the Senate and chooses a moderate nominee." -- "consideration of a nomination should go forward if the president consults with the Senate and chooses a moderate nominee"? Hmmm.. since there has been no consultation with the Senate Republicans, AND since the political scenario is reversed, I think that if ZERO-bamageddon nominated a "conservative" instead of a "moderate", the Senate just might address it

---
Online story: "GOP presidential frontrunner Donald Trump was livid at ABC's "The View" on Twitter after its panel of hosts, namely Whoopi Goldberg, slammed retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson for supporting him." -- Whoopi Goldberg is a flat-out racist!. She doesn't feel black men and women who have become successful in business.. in life,, without kowtowing to government aid are not black enough to be black.

---
Online headline: "Do you know who George Clooney's best friend is?" -- DOH! Isn't the real question, "Do you really care.. give a whit.. who George Clooney's best friend is?

---
Fortune Magazine just published a list of the Top 50 men and women leaders in the world from government, business, philanthropy, and the arts.. not surprisingly, ZERO-bamageddon did not make the list.. but at least we know why he danced the tango in Argentina.. he was trying to qualify in "the arts" category.

---
Online story: "WalletHub has done research and crunched numbers to determine which of America's cities are what they call 'the fattest.' * Rankings were determined by scores based on "fat prevalence," "weight-related health problems," and "healthy environment" for 100 metro areas." -- Nine of the Top 10 "fattest cities" are in the South... I think this is a mean spirited "slur" by liberals.

---
This is a map of "net domestic migration" in 2014-15.. Take a good look at the Map of GA.. Mayor TomLYINGson is right... there is a loss in Muscogee County and gains in Harris County. Now look again.. the worst migration in the state is from Congressman Bishop's and Ed Harbison's District in which half of Columbus is in.

---

L-E headline: "Metro area jobless rate unchanged at 6.8% in Feb. * Columbus rate is highest in state, trailed closely by Albany" -- Hmmm.. conformation of our migration problem is not the tax freeze.. it's TomLYINGson and Bishop's inability to generate jobs in the area.

---
Online story: "Americans "have died because of" detainees released from the detention facility in Guantanamo Bay, a Defense Department official said Wednesday. *  During the hearing, Rep. Dana Rohrabacher, R-Calif., asked special envoy Paul Lewis how many people had died because of "terrorists who went back to their terrorist activity. *  Lewis responded that he would prefer to discuss the matter in a "classified setting *  Sir, what I can tell you is unfortunately there have been Americans that have died because of released Gitmo detainees" -- Look for another round of ZERO-bamageddon's tap dancing.

---
L-E headline/story: "AQUATIC CENTER * Mayor to fully fund center in her FY17 budget * In her fiscal 2017 budget, the center will be funded fully at $1.2 million and will be run by the city, as opposed to a private vendor, the mayor announced in an email to all Columbus Councilors. Ultimately, that decision is contingent upon council’s approval of the mayor’s budget." -- Good grief.. will some one confiscate her key to the already way-too-depleted "fund balance vault"!

---
From above story: "Following council’s failure Tuesday night to arrive at a level of funding for the center, and a failure to determine who would operate the facility and for how many hours, Tomlinson sent an email to all 10 councilors Wednesday morning. * The email states that Tomlinson will fully fund the aquatic center at $1.2 million for 89 hours a week of operation in her fiscal 2017 budget, which will be presented for council’s consideration on April 26. She states the following in the email, which is public record:" -- "The email states that Tomlinson will fully fund the aquatic center "? Yeah with our and our children's tax dollars! TomLYINGson is getting as bad as Congressman Bishop.. Like him, TomLYINGson seems to want to take credit as being the one issuing all these checks from her on account! Man up, Council.. she's not going to be running for re-election like y'all are!

---
Let's face it.. the Aquatic Center can survive on 45 hours a week. Times open just need to be tweaked to best usage, and if an event gets scheduled, the increased revenue will warrant opening the necessary hours.

---
L-E headline: "Disney and Marvel threaten to pull film business from Georgia over religious liberty bill" --  Let'em do that.. they came here because tax breaks to them made it advantageous to them, and they don't want to lose that "bottom line" advantage.

---
L-E headline: "Tax freeze referendum legislation passes General Assembly; step closer to local vote * Sens. Josh McKoon, Ed Harbison split vote" -- How does something like this "pass" when the area Senators split their vote? Such an issue as the repealing of a State Amendment should have more requirements that a 50-50 vote.. It takes 3/4ths or better of all states to repeal a US Constitutional Amendment.

---
LIV's L-E "soundoff": " Take a poll to see if Columbus wants a baseball team. It would be another recreational attraction to lure vacationers — who spend money." -- Good grief.. nothing short of a Double-A or even a Triple-A team will get even local support. Columbus is blessed with great college. high school, and youth baseball, so the professionals have to compete with them for an audience, and nothing but building a new stadium in North Columbus would be attractive to any major league organization.

---
From L-E's "Today in History" feature: "   In 1965, the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. led 25,000 people to the Alabama state capitol in Montgomery after a five-day march from Selma to protest the denial of voting rights to blacks. Later that day, civil rights activist Viola Liuzzo, a white Detroit homemaker, was shot and killed by Ku Klux Klansmen." --Ku KLux Klansmen?  Them dastardly Democrats!

---
From L-E's "Today in History" feature:  -- "In 1975, King Faisal (FY'-suhl) of Saudi Arabia was shot to death by a nephew with a history of mental illness. (The nephew was beheaded in June 1975.)" -- Less than 3 months or so from crime to sentence carried out.. That's effective justice.. WE should try it!

---
L-E's "Thought for Today": “The truth does not change according to our ability to stomach it emotionally.” — Flannery O'Connor, American author (1925-1964)." Hmmm guess O'Connor would be aghast at the revisionism  that is printed in our public school history books.
