Online headline: "Sanders campaign: Democrats 'court disaster' with Clinton nomination" -- The one Democrat who has been truthful..well, he admits openly he's a Socialist... has hit the nail on the head.. Not only  the "Party" "court disaster" by nominating Hillary, Hillary will be a "court disaster" when the FBI finishes its investigation.

Online headline: "Republican Romney: It's 'disqualifying' for Trump not to release tax returns" -- Good grief.. there is nothing.. absolutely NOTHING that requires a candidate to publish his/her tax returns to run for president.. In fact, when the Founding Fathers wrote the Constitutional requirements, there wasn't even an income tax in this country.. In fact, less than half of the presidents ever ran when an income tax was collected. Romney has just revealed himself to be a "Constitution ignoring" hypocrite!

Online story: " The owner of Windy City Pizza on General Booth Boulevard in VIRGINIA BEACH, Va.  posted a sign that appeared to reference the controversial topic of transgender restrooms. * The sign read, "We have a men's room. We have a ladies room. If this confuses you, we can help!" -- Ooops.. before you call in an Amazon "same day delivery" order, the owner placated the mainscream media and removed the sign..

Soapbox Moment - Letter just sent to the sitting School Board and incumbent state Representaives and Senators and a few media types:
'Ladies and Gents...

In 1991, the state of Georgia published the first "Report Card" for all the schools in Georgia for the 1989-1990 school year.  I actually went to the Bradley Memorial Library and read the Muscogee County information.. several things "jumped out".. one ]=being the number of employees that the state did not fund...200 in fact ..at an average of $45,000.00 annually. I did so because of a bond issue referendum the MCSD was trying to pass to raise $9,000,000.00  to fix/repair all the ills of the school buildings. The budget that year was a total $54,000,000.00.

Interestingly, the $200 employees averaging $45,000.00 totaled.. you guessed it..$9,000,000.00! The school system was looking for a one time $9,000,000.00 but was sitting on a way to get that EVERY year just by eliminating all employees deemed "unnecessary", thus unfunded by the state.

Since the 1990 school year, the MCSD employee number has risen 20+/- percent while the student number has been a pretty constant 32,000.

Question: How many employees does the MCSD have on the payroll that the state of Georgia deems "unnecessary" and therefore does not fund such positions? What is their accumulative salary/benefits package that  is paid for out of local ad valorem taxes?

From the "bias.. what bis in the mainscream media" department: "Online headline: "FOX News host Geraldo Rivera calls Bernie Sanders 'annoying' over live mic" -- Hmmm.. now if Geraldo was unbiased.. he would think Bernie to be "amusing or embarrassing"..to America ..

From the "filled with good intentions" department - Online story: "The movement to eliminate tipping is picking up some big defectors: Joe's Crab Shack says it's pared back its no-tipping test from 18 restaurants to just 4 after being inundated with customer complaints, and Gabriel Stulman announced on Monday that he's bringing back gratuities at Fedora in the West Village. * Joe's failed experiment is particularly noteworthy because it was the first attempt by a national chain to scale the model, earning executives a lot of praise when they announced it six months ago *  "customers and staff spoke very loudly," and that "a lot of them voted with their feet." * Customer research apparently showed that nearly 60 percent of patrons disliked the tipless model, which increased menu prices by 12 to 15 percent and paid servers a flat $14 an hour. "We got negative customer counts between 8 percent to 10 percent on average among the 18 restaurants  * Joe's says it's planning to take a hard look at what's different at the four spots where the model is working." -- Good grief.. 14 out of 18 locations failed, and Joe's is going to look at 4 spots that fell into the "even a blind hog occasionally finds an acorn" department..This is the main problem with liberals.. they keep feeling their ideas will work if they get the right person to rin it.. What's actually happened.. and will happen with "the 4", is that the productive staff left for other arenas wher they can distinguish themselves and reap the reward of hard work. The customers left because of higher prices but lackluster service when people aren't working harder to get a good tip.

You know, the cost of education would drop naturally if all student loans could only be used for actual tuition..no mandatory fees, no outrageous dorm costs, no food program programs, and when a student drops a class, the refund should be returned to the loan company instead of to the student.

For all you gender focused supporters of Hillary. Columbus voted for its first woman mayor, and we regretfully ended up with Mayor TomLYINGson for the past 6, and next 2 years. Learn from our  voters who have learned their lesson about focusing on a candidates gender.... same with "race" as well.

L-E story: "Since implementing a discipline framework called PBIS (Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports) eight years ago, Double Churches Middle School has reduced its number of cases referred to the office by 77 percent . * Not coincidentally, school officials say, the state’s overall measurement for school accountability, the College and Career Ready Performance Index, has improved from 64.5 to 71.0 at Double Churches the past four years – despite the Title I school’s poverty rate increasing nearly 10 percent in the same time period, from 58.8 percent to 68.5 percent." -- scores: UP.. poverty level: UP... discipline level: UP.. will someone show this to Hugley Green who has the worse performance of any distict in Muscogee County.. better yet.. show this to every voter in District 1 !

L-E headline: "American Eye Care project moving toward completion" -- Leave it to private enterprise to complete SOMETHING.. and on time.. at the intersection of Veterans Parkway and Whittlesey Road.. obviously the government can't.
