Theoretically, not even prison staff members need a cellphone while on duty.. they have access to an internal radio communication system, so all cellphones.. whether owned staff, visitors, or lawyers, should be held at the check-in gate, and returned only when they leave the grounds.

Of all the local races that ended with disappointment was the unseating of Superior Court Clerk, Linda Pierce. Unfortunately, she did not recognize that she's a pariah in the Democrat Party because she's locked horns with Mayor TomLYINGson, and had no chance in the Democratic Party primary. She should have declared herself an Independent or Republican and have had the election settled in the November General Election..

All is not lost for big changes on the MCSB.. there was one outright win for change (Vanessa Jackson), and  there are 2 "for sure" runoffs in other district races, and possibly in all 3 of them.. real change in the direction.. upward change... is looking good for the next school year!  Way to go Columbus taxpayers and parents interested in their children's education!
