If those illegal aliens in California who are protesting Trump are so anxious to stay in America, why aren't they waving American flags instead of Mexican ones?

L-E headline: "Columbus ranks in top 10 for black households making $100,000 or more
Metro area is drawing more black professionals and retirees Percentage of affluent black households beats Detroit and Chicago" -- You know.. I believe this is the first... at least in a long while.. story about positive change reported by the L-E.. Fortunately, this has been going on... unfortunately, the L-E hasn't been interested in mentioning such positive aspects.. the L-E seems more comfortable in hanging onto the past.
---
LIV's L-E "soundoff": " Using sports vernacular, Curt Schilling was 0 for 3. An excellent pitcher, he was hired as a sports analyst, not as a soap box preacher espousing bigoted comments." -- You know.. if those of alternative lifestyles want their "choices" to become "acceptable", they must shed their overly sensitive, thin skin.. continued "political correctness" keeps such on the forefront of social issues and doesn't allow them to become mainstream. Of course, it won't fully happen until those of alternative lifestyles also point out despicably perverse human activities for what they are.
---
L-E's May 1st "Thought for Today, “Anyone who is satisfied to stand still should not complain when others pass him.” – Italian proverb." -- Hmmm.. the GOP should look closely at itself and apply this to what Trump is doing.
---
Online story: "When Ted Cruz asserted that members of the media wanted him to "surrender to Donald Trump," Meet The Press moderator Chuck Todd pushed back. * "It's not about the media. Senator, it's about the numbers. Republican voters are the ones rejecting you. It's not a media conspiracy," Todd said. * "Well, actually, with all due respect, the media has given 2 billion [dollars] in free advertising to Donald," responded Cruz." -- Good grief.. that much "free media" pretty much vetted Trump, and support him in spite of Cruz's assertions. Heck.. Cruz could not get but 43% of Texas Primary Republican voters to support him.. and Cruz is he sitting Senator of Texas. Hey, Cruz, How'd all your "favorite son free media" in Texas help you?
---
Online story: "Hillary Clinton, already seems to be wooing Sanders supporters by releasing an ad that encourages Democrats to come together. * "America is stronger when we are all supporting one another," she said in a campaign ad." -- "when we're all supporting one another"? You know... it would be nice to see Hillary.. well, any Democrat for that matter to reach out to actual taxpayers and make that statement rather than "reaching into taxpayer pockets" to support those who vote for Democrats.
---
Online headline: "Anderson Cooper divulges 'revealing' personal details" -- Good grief.. most of us didn't ask.. so why does he feel he has to tell?
---
From the "Government Department of Stupidity" - I heard that there are protests about the Parks Ranger uniforms making illegal aliens feel intimidated...good grief...then let's dress our border guards like Park Rangers!
---
Early voting begins in GA today..in the GA Representative District 2 & 3 races.. Diane Vann. and Mike Crane for the Republican voters.. now I'm looking at the US Senate Republican primary... why isn't there a "none of the above" option?
---
While I've no problem with the GA Supreme Court being expanded from 7-to-9
Justices.. I'm just not so sure I want Governor Deal to be appointing the two new
ones..
---
In today's "Ledger Inquirer" column, Mike Owen writes, "Some day, I will
write the phrase “Moon Road widening project” for the last time, hopefully not
from a bed at Columbus Hospice on that road. Really, it seems like I’ve been
writing about it for a lifetime." -- Hmmm.. I really wish I'd see Mike Owen
write about the Whittlesey Road quagmire "FOR THE FIRST TIME"! If he has before,
it's escaped me.
---
Maybe ZERO-bama is on to something.. he's wanting to build higher
walls/fences around the White House. Guess he figures when Hillary's conviction
happens, she'll already be used to iron bars.
---
L-E's May 2nd "Thought for Today": “What experience and history teach is
this: that people and governments have never learned anything from history.” —
Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel, German philosopher (1770-1831)." --
Unfortunately, government has made sure public school students aren't taught
true history anymore.
---
I'm trying to figure out why women voters associate with Hillary.. I'll
give Hillary credit for being a female.. simply because I do not wish to pursue
another option, but, I certainly cannot give her points for be=ing a wife, a
mother, or a lady.
---
How many ads are going to be run for "Together 2016"? If an outside party
is actually paying for them, the L-E may even make a profit this year.....
