AOL headline: "Even Stephen Hawking can't explain Trump's popularity" -- Hmmm.. this is rather obvious in my book. drum roll, please... "IT's NOT ROCKET SCIENCE!" On the other hand, if a liberal like Hawking's can't explain it, why are the NYT, MSNBC, CNN, ABC, CBS or NBC trying to do so?

Online story: "Former Attorney General Eric Holder is having a change of heart when it comes to Edward Snowden. Back in 2013, Holder told USA Today that Snowden's intelligence leaks led to a "healthy conversation" about the nation's intelligence-gathering activities but held that there was absolutely "no basis" for letting him off the hook. But on David Axelrod's podcast, The Axe Files, Monday morning, Holder showed even more leniency toward Snowden, saying he "performed a public service." -- Change of heart? Doubt it.. perhaps Snowden showed what he had on Holder and promised to release it if Holder pursued it...

You know.. what parent has not had his/her 4 year old dart off when an eye has been distracted elsewhere for just a moment, but what I want to know is how the Cincinnati Zoo Gorilla Compound was built so that a 4-year-old could get into it...there should be no circumstance where construction of a confined area could be breached by a 4-year-old.

HuffPOOPOO headline: "Donald Trump And Hillary Clinton Are Wildly Unpopular. But Is This The Guy To Fill The Void?" -- Libertarian Gary Johnson? You know Hillary can't win if the HuffPOOPOO isn't excoriating a Libertarian candidate!

That bridge expansion on US 331 over the bay between Freeport, FL and the Gulf hiway...the new portion is finished...can we get them.to finish up on the Whittlesey Road expansion?

It's not just that ZERO-bama is cutting back our military strength to a number smaller than we had in 1940, it's also important to understand that in 1940, we had but 132,000,000 million Americans, and now we have over 300,000,000.
---
While watching ZERO-bama go through the motions of acting interested in the ceremony following the laying of the wreath, I couldn't help but wonder if he was thinking, "hurry up, I have a 12:00 tee time".

L-E headline: "Suspect in deputy shooting denied bond" -- That's a good
first step.. the next one should be to deny him life!
---
From the L-E's "Today in history" feature: "In 1977, the trans-Alaska oil
pipeline, three years in the making, was completed." -- Hmmm and 4 years ago
last month, the widening project of Whittlesey Road began,, and it's still not
finished.

Mainscream media obsesses over whether Trump can beat Hillary.. let's look
at some pertinent data.. Hillary has been running for president for over 25
years, and cannot put Bernie in her rearview mirror, while Trump has been
running for barely 1 year, and has blown the doors off the GOP-mobile, and about
to catch up with Hillary... that, my friends, is the real data to figure this
out.

L-E headline/story: "A lynching in Columbus: ‘Mystery’ mob leader known *
Mayor Teresa Tomlinson has conceded it was a horrible thing, among many horrible
things that happened back then, but says to apologize is to admit the city’s
complicity in the matter and she is not willing to do that." -- Don't tell
anyone that I agree with Mayor TomLYINGson, bur when she speaks the truth, I can
do so.. the CCG does not have to apologize for events of 100 years ago... no
matter how regrettable they were in retrospect..
---
Looking at the newly proposed budget, I notice there has been a cutback on
Mayor TomLYINGson's attempt to damage the "Fund Balance" as much as her original
request.. it's now down to $394.132.00.. you know.. in a budget of over $270
MILLION, you'd think Council could whittle away $394,132.00 and leave our Fund
Balance where it is, and designate any surplus revenues to rebuild the Fund
Balance.

Four of the 8 National "Seeds" in the NCAA World Series are from the SEC..
This along with football, makes the SEC pretty much the king of college sports..
Now, if we could get basketball up to snuff, we'd leave no doubt.. Oh! gotta
add, "Hail State", as Mississippi State is one of the 4

Perhaps I was a little premature last week, but Jordan Spieth is definitely
