Online story: ".The head of security for the U.S. Transportation Security Administration has been removed from his position, according to an internal TSA memo on Monday seen by Reuters, after the agency was criticized for long lines at airport security checkpoints. *  Long security lines at U.S. airports this spring have frustrated travelers and caused thousands of passengers to miss flights. TSA has blamed the problem on a lack of security screeners and an increase in passenger volumes. *  Earlier this month, TSA said it would add screeners at the country's busiest airports." -- TSA agents could be doubled, and it will not help the situation.. if you multiply inefficiency by 2, you get twice the problems. The problems are about not improving methodology.. no private business can grow if employee efficiency level doesn't improve directly with experience.

Online story: "Virginia's Democratic governor, Terry McAuliffe, is under investigation by the FBI and the U.S. Justice Department over campaign fundraising, CNN reported on Monday, citing U.S. officials briefed on the probe. * McAuliffe was co-chairman of Clinton's 1996 re-election campaign and chairman of Hillary Clinton's 2008 presidential bid. * The investigation is focusing, at least in part, on whether contributions to McAuliffe's 2013 gubernatorial campaign, including $120,000 from a Chinese businessman, Wang Wenliang, violated the law, according to CNN." -- Wait a minute.. CNN is reporting on something like this... and about someone who's attached to the hips of both Clintons?  Biden is waiting in the wings!

Online headline/story: "Scientists: Michelle Obama's nutrition facts label not based on science * Researchers say the first lady's latest proposal, which will cost companies at least $640 million to comply with, is not based on sound science.* “I am thrilled that the FDA has finalized a new and improved Nutrition Facts label that will be on food products nationwide,” Mrs. Obama said in a statement. “This is going to make a real difference in providing families across the country the information they need to make healthy choices.”" --"provide families... the information they need to make healthy choices" ? Good grief.. how can families of the future benefit if they are not taught how to read under the Common CRAP curriculum?  Besides, if American families were really overly concerned about food health issues, fast food restaurants and 5-Star restaurants would go completely  out of business.

Ironic isn't it... that Hillary's and Michelle's one big issue as First Ladies share a health issue, and both are flops.

From the "talk about ironic" department: - Online headline/story: "Planned Parenthood Sued Over Colorado Clinic Shooting *  The wife of Ke’ Arere Stewart, who was killed, and Samantha Wagner, who suffered a gunshot wound to her arm, accuse the clinic of being liable, negligent and of outrageous conduct in the suit filed on Friday in Denver District Court.

Stewart is suing for the wrongful death of her husband, and Wagner, who sustained a shattered and severed humerus bone, is asking for monetary damages to cover her medical bills and “permanent physical impairment.” * “It provided no signs, posters, verbal or any other type of warning describing the risk of physical harm, injury or death associated with entering (Planned Parenthood) properties.”" --  "no signs, posters, verbal or any other type of warning describing the risk of physical harm, injury or death associated with entering (Planned Parenthood) properties"? -- Good grief.. the fact that the clinic had a "Planned Parenthood" sign on the building shouts out that it is a house of death!

---
Online headline/story: "Parents are stunned after hearing a girl had sex with as many as 25 boys in school bathroom * Police have been notified of a bathroom incident that was supposedly recorded and distributed on Snapchat in which a 15-year-old girl had sex with multiple male students after school — and it could have been as many as 25. * The girl has admitted to having sex with multiple guys." -- Now we see why the Democrats want boys to be able to go into the girls bathrooms at public schools.... probably Democratic Party pre-election registration event to sign up 25 boys to become  Democrat voters in November..

---
Online story: "Back in 2013, a 16-year-old girl was viciously attacked and stabbed in a Target store in Pennsylvania. One shopper tackled the  man, grabbed a baseball bat and chased away the attacker which saved the girls life. * Michael Turner has been heralded a hero. But, Target disagrees. In fact, the retail giant is actually suing HIM for endangering their customers! What in the hell is wrong with these idiots?" -- Hmmm... I think I'll see if I can get a baseball bat kiosk near Target's bathrooms and rent them to women who want to use the bathrooms.. They'll be good for safety ..   Between this lawsuit, and recent bathroom issue decisions, I'd say Target has "struck out".

Online story: "Former Atlanta Mayor Shirley Franklin has endorsed both Barksdale and his hat, which he’s attempting to turn into a signature symbol of his campaign" -- Hmmm..she endorsed both Barksdale and his cap...wonder in which order.

---
Online story: "President Obama lifted the decades-long U.S. arms embargo against Vietnam on Monday in an apparent effort to shore up the communist country's defenses against an increasingly aggressive China" --
So ZERO-bama feels Vietnam needs guns to defend itself from aggressive government actions, yet doesn't feel American citizens deserve the same?

---
Online story: "Veterans Affairs Secretary Robert McDonald on Monday compared the length of time veterans wait to receive health care at the VA to the length of time people wait for rides at Disneyland, and said his agency shouldn't use wait times as a measure of success because Disney doesn't either." -- Good grief.. other than Disney IS concerned.. and DOES monitor the in-line-waiting-periods of it's customers, Bob McDonald's comparison reflects his attitude, which, in my book, is... drum roll please .. pretty damn "Mickey Mouse"!

Oh.. and there's one other major difference.. Disney's customers are there because they paid a fee.. and our vets are there because they "paid a price".

Kim Jong Un says he doesn't want to meet with Trump...guess he figures Trump won't give him things like Slick Willie or Rodman.

---
Online headline: "A North Carolina school board has voted to drop valedictorians for creating what they argue is unhealthy competition among students." -- Good grief! Talk about dumbing down the educational process.. Competition .. especially  in classrooms versus athletic fields, is exactly what students need .. Universities scour the country to find students that seek to excel and recruit them specifically on their success in the classrooms.. What's really going on is a school system.. and ours is headed that way, that wants everyone to be equally illiterate so no one's feelings are hurt.  Vote for TRUMP!

Did you see the video of a vehicle going straight through a "roundabout" in Romania,  and literally "fly" through the air? They suspect the driver has fallen asleep or was inebriated and did not slow down. Now, imagine a logging truck barreling down River Road with a distracted driver and plowing through the proposed "roundabout" at the Bradley Park Drive intersection. Cars would look like pachinko balls bouncing arouns looking for a place to stop.

Went to the funeral of Neal Wickham yesterday. Neal was the guiding force in bringing the Pine Mountain Trail to light and fruition. I was getting dressed beforehand when I thought about the forest being Neal's true sanctuary..I kicked off my Weejuns, and put my tie, white shirt and navy blazer back in the closet and pulled out my khakis, hiking boots, and plaid shirt. I wanted Neal to be able to spot me quickly in the sea of neckties. Enjoy your perfect hiking weather, Neal.

Online headline: "Baltimore police officer acquitted in Freddie Gray death" -- Yes.. justice has been served in a court of law despite mainscream media trying to condemn and convict police officers in its public kangaroo court. There's one other aspect that's not going to be discussed in mainscream media because it would be "politically incorrect".. but if Officer Nero had been convicted of any of the charges, no Baltimore police officer would ever again get out of his/her patrol car to investigate a situation.

LIV's L-E "soundoff": "So Hillary wants to put Bill in charge of the economy. What a great idea. The last president to have a balanced budget, a thriving economy and people working" -- Hmmm.. if Hillary wants to put the man in charge who last balanced the budget, she better tap Newt Gingrich.. Of course, by saying she thinks Bill is a better choice than herself at running the economy, Hillary has just cut the legs out from under every woman who has hopes of climbing the corporate ladder of success.  Hillary basically said women are not as capable as a man to be the CEO of anything.

---
L-E's " Thought for Today, “Responsibility educates.” — Wendell Phillips, American abolitionist (1811-1884)." -- Good grief.. with social promotions/graduations and entitlement versus pay checks being the platform of the Democratic Party, is there any wonder what the agenda of public education has become?

---
From the "talk about good..and .. bad..timing" department - L-E headline/story: "Big-box retailer At Home appears headed for Peachtree" * Construction work has yet to start on the 86,274-square-foot space left vacant since February 2006 after Charlotte, N.C.-based retailer Belk purchased the 40-store Parisian chain, rebranding some locations to Belk and closing a dozen others, including the one in Columbus. Belk turned around and sold the vacant Columbus space about a year later to Little Rock, Ark.-based Dillard’s for $4.4 million. Dillard’s sat on the property located front and center at the mall until selling it to General Growth Properties just before Thanksgiving last year for $2 million, according to city real-estate filings." -- You know, for Dillard's to bailout with a $2.4 MILLION dollar loss indicates that Dillard's recognizes a "sinking ship", at "At Home" has just bought in at the bubble collapse.

---
The L-E stock may become a "buy" soon.. what. with "Together 2016" buying ads almost every day, the L-E's bottom line must be getting pretty healthy.. Of course, if {Together 2016" says it is  looking for a project to spend money on and it looks like the L-E is that project.

We definitely need to replace the current school board members and get people on there who will take action to renew the information flow from the MCSD Superintendent and the Board/taxpayers. Remember Tony Adams... former head of the City's Parks & Rec Department.. the one who illegally set up a "city" checking account to run Nike funds into to run that "Blazers" basketball program? Well, if he'd been running such a program illegally under the protection of the MCSD, he'd still be employed because no information would have been given to the school board, and no audits would be run. Oust all the incimbernts! Depending on your district, vote for Shelia (not Cathy) Williams, Pete Taylor, Vanessa Jackson, and JoAnn Thomas Brown.
