Best Thanksgiving ever.. great food, great family.. and.. conversation-wise, too! Not once was a Clinton.. nor Obama even, was mentioned in our Thanksgiving Day dinner conversation..that "HOPE and CHANGE Obama promised.. well, now it's a pleasant and welcomed reality. God is good.

---
Online headline: "Hillary and Bill Clinton were last minute Thanksgiving grocery shoppers" -- How humbling this must have been... there was no one around sucking up...

---
A "get's it" L-E "soundoff": "The NFL threatened to pull its all-star game out of Atlanta over the religious liberty bill, yet has no problem playing a game in Mexico, where gay marriage is illegal. Do I detect hypocrisy?" -- Guess Mexico has built its own "wall".. and included a "closet door".

---
Super LOW-INFORMED+VOTER's L-E :soundoff": "U.S. voters don’t understand simple economics. If the super rich or big corporations get tax cuts, you end up paying their taxes." -- What is it about liberals and economic logic that just don't mesh? When taxes are "reasonable" for corporations/job creators. they want to expand business and jobs.. when taxes are unreasonable, corporations/job creators just don't see that expansion id=s worth the effort.

Another state-wide unemployment report reveals that Columbus is ranked next to last in GA.. Further scrutiny reveals Congressional District 2 has 4 (of the worst 5 cities.. All 4 (Warner Robins, Columbus, Albany, and Macon) of these cities have one thing in common.. they are all represented by Congressman Sanford Bishop. Another thing 3 of the 4 have in common is that Columbus, Macon, and Albany overwhelmingly voted for Hellary.. Warner Robins did vote for Trump but primarily because of Warner Robins A.F.B. and the large population of veterans.  Hey, Mayor TomLYINGson, Ledger-Enquirer, Democratic Party.. it ain't property tax revenues that are a problem.. its the out-of-step policies of the Democratic Party in this area of GA.

Electing Donna Tompkins will not "solve" budget issues in the Sheriff's Department, and if she claims she can operate on what Mayor TomLYINGson doles out, then the Mayor has promised (most likely secretly) to fund the budget properly which is all Sheriff Darr has asked.  This should be revealed.. now.. as what TomLYINGson offered Darr will not be sufficient to meet the court/federal mandates for prisoner treatments, and failure for the Sheriff's Office to do so will result in much more costly lawsuits. Re-elect Darr.. and recall Mayor TomLYINGson, and Columbus' problems will pretty much disappear..

Oh.. and true to my word.. no NFL football for me!
