I was looking at a bio of Anthony Weiner... you know the usual stuff.. education .. spouse.. etc.. basic stuff, but one thing stood out .. and made me seethe.. In a category headed by "Occupation:" it listed "Politician". Our Founding Fathers must be rolling over in their graves that being selected to serve the people of America as their representative is now an "Occupation"... The worst thing about this is that if you "feel" it is an occupation, then you are more interested in keeping your job than making good decisions for America.
You know.. in a sick way, politicians who consider serving is an occupation have taken it too far.. Without term limits, it seems politicians are more interested in "Occupying" Washington rather than serving it's people.

I do believe the Housing Authority Properties has in excess of 200 properties that are tax exempt... but Columbus taxpayers pay a ton in taxes to provide police and fire protection. How is this legal! I mean.. his salary is basically funded by TAXPAYERS as it is!
From the same L-E story above: "Among the attorneys donating to (Donna) Tompkins (in the Sheriff's race) were Ken Henson ($500), Thomas Flournoy ($250), Paul Kilpatrick ($250), Wade Tomlinson ($250) and the firm Snipes & Snipes ($200)." -- Good grief.. TWO of these lawyers are involved with the Mayor in business (one is her husband).
