From the  "I think it's just that mainscream media just doesn't WANT to get it" department - Online story: Ted Cruz soid, "look, we had an election. The people spoke. Democracy is a powerful, powerful way of choosing." - Reporter Opinion: To be exact, Trump became president-elect by defeating Clinton in the Electoral College. She won the popular vote." -- Hmmm two things here.. 1.. the important one, the presidency IS decoded by the overall state's Electoral College vote as set up in our Constitution. 2 - Hellary will NOT win by "popular vote".. She will have the most total votes.. but... BUT she will not have 50+1 percent which is "winning the popular vote". As it is, she won the full popular or plurality vote  in only 19 states versus Trump winning 30 state and one state with a split of their votes.

---
The Founding Fathers. in their wisdom of their time and their vision for the future, understood several vital things.. The National Election of the President would be too unwieldy to be a "popular vote" as the needs of the individual states in terms of population and travel time, could not be centralized for a fast recognition of decisions the voters' decision. Though there would be a single "election day" (though some states now allow for extended voting times) to vote, it would take immeasurable time to for each state to accumulate the totals from around the individual states, thus basically making it near impossible for states, as units, or as a whole, from being able to schedule/advertise any sort of runoff if no candidate got a majority + 1 vote count. So, our ancestors decided that the Electoral College, with the number of votes being decided every ten years by a National Census, would be the better way.. and a the only way  that each state would have it's populations' voice heard. Otherwise, it would be like having Great Danes and Chihuahuas deciding how to divvy up bag of dog food.

Online headline: "Here's what Barack Obama told his daughters the morning Trump won the election" -- Oooops, my bad.. my guess was that Obama told his daughters that their fairy queen had been squashed, and they were no longer princesses.

---
From the "didn't mainscream media learn ANYTHING" department - Online headline: "Hot-button issue Americans want Trump to fix first - healthcare * In an apparent rebuke of outgoing President Obama's policy, a new poll on Thursday revealed there's one major topic the U.S. wants tackled first." -- Good grief.. first, who believes any poll at this moment, but obviously, mainscream media has lost perspective about it's power to read what's important to a leader like Trump who will make decisions on priorities versus sticking his finger in the air to see which way the media hot-air is blowing.

---
Mainscream media is labeling a post-Thanksgiving tour of 30 states by Trump as a "victory tour".. even if this concept was true, it beats the heck out of Obama's worldwide "apology tour", but what Trump is actually doing is taking a (if you must say so) "tour" to thank the states that support him in his endeavour to Make America Great Again..

---
Online headline: "Hundreds of O'Hare Airport workers to strike ahead of Thanksgiving holiday" -- Hmmm.. guess this is a tip-off, that the Obama's are not going home to Chicago for Thanksgiving.. or that Trump is not going to stop there to refuel on his tour.

---
You know, if Obama offers/makes a pre-charge pardon of Hellary..then it means he's more concerned with being connected in the cover-up or involved in the process or both

---

Hellary made her first public speech (following her loss) at a fund raiser and told her followers to follow/vote their values....Since she pretty much is void of such. isn't that an oxymoron?

---
From the "I hope this is the Joke-of-the-season" department - Online headline: "Trump reportedly considering Mitt Romney for secretary of state" -- Surely this is a joke.. but if not, then Trump should have a cage attached to the roof of the Secretary of State's plane so Romney can ride inside it.when traveling.

---
Online headline: "In his first interview since he and running mate Hillary Clinton lost to Donald Trump, the Virginia senator disclosed his future plans in politics." -- "his future plans"? ................................

---
You know, with Trump about to take office in January, Obama can now uncross his fingers when he says we're about to experience "Climate Change".

---
Online headline: "Obama hopes Trump will 'stand up' to Russia when needed * NBC News * by HALIMAH ABDULLAH" -- So where was  HALIMAH ABDULLAH when Obama did not respond to Syria's ASSwad when he crossed the line drawn by Obama?

---
Where do Democrats get the gall to tell me that the incoming administration has more obligation to the Democrat base than it does from voters who sought sanity in this administration that wasn't in the previous nor proposed Democrat options. I will say this.. The Mainstream American will be better off under Trump than more of Hellary

--
Democrats have short memories..When they have "the power", they wield it one-sidedly, yet when they don't, they scream "compromise..compromise".. What Democrats don't understand ..nor practice.. is collaboration and cooperation regardless of who's in charge.

---
Remember yesterday when I mentioned that the owners of "Trump Place" apartments in NYC were taking Trump's licensed name off the buildings?  Hmmm..those existing tenants at Trump Place who bought BECAUSE of Trump's name on the building may feel that their units have been devalued, and have grounds for lawsuit.

L-E headline/story: "Woman charged in death of Northside High student *  The 33-year-old woman charged in the Sept. 4 death of 15-year-old Justin “JP” Johanson was driving under the influence of alcohol and distracted by her GPS when she struck him on River Road, according to testimony Thursday morning in Columbus Recorder’s Court." -- My comments here are based on more info in the story (you can read it here - http://digital.olivesoftware.com/Olive/ODN/LedgerEnquirer/default.aspx) but, what was a tragedy is about to
become more tragic for the driver of the vehicle that hit the passed out young man who's "friends" abandined him in his drunken stupor. Hopefully a good lawyer and reasonable jury will determine that the woman obviously had not been out on a binge-drinking tour of bars, and she will not be convicted of first-degree vehicular homicide. Regardless, this woman's life has been as, if not more, adversely affected by the death of the 15 year old than his his family... Please.. take time to ray for all.

---
L-E headline: "Santa Claus rolls into town" -- Wow.. Black Friday is already here, so we must already have gathered and eaten our Thanksgiving meal with family. Wow, and I didn't gain an ounce! My how time flies,, when merchants aren't willing to wait for it.

SLIV's (Super Low Informed Liberal) L-E "soundoff": "Trump wins and just proves that men can get away with anything and women can’t." -- Good grief.. has this person been watching/reading the news for the past 25/30 years? How about the last 6 months? Hellary has been treated as if she's above the laws of our nation, and Obama agrees with her.

---
Another SLIV's L-E "soundoff": "Hate to interrupt your euphoria, but Clinton won the popular vote. We are the majority. We are still here. And we recognize no Trump or Republican mandate." -- This just reflects how failed our education system has become.. Trump won 30 states (plus a split on another one) and won by the laws/rules of our Constitution. Too bad we have so many... too many.. voting-aged adults that were not taught this sufficiently. Maybe they were taught New/Common CRAP Math and believe "less states won is greater than the majority of states".

---
You know.. the Electoral College vote is more than fair.. in fact.. the biggest 12 states alone.. less that 25% of our states, could elect the president if all 12 of those states voters selected the same candidate to receive their Electoral College votes. Those same 12 states have 62% of the population, yet take out the smallest of those 12, and the other 11 cannot win. Get over it libs.. go back to school and learn how our forefathers protected your rights as well as the rights of all others.

---
O, and while you libs are back in school. please note Bill Clinton, in 1992, got elected with only 43% of the popular vote.. in other words.. MORE people wanted someone else than him.

---
L-E's "Thought for Today": “It is impossible to defeat an ignorant man in argument.” — William G. McAdoo, American government official (1863-1941)." -- In all equality, man also includes "woman".. as attested by this recent election and the stupor Hellary and her supporters are in...

---
L-E headline/story: "Jury finds man guilty of fatally shooting woman, son * He faces a maximum penalty of two life sentences without parole" -- "faces a maximum penalty of two life sentences..."? He ought to be sentenced to death.. twice... at a minimum!

---
L-E headline: "Snow off to a slow start in Rockies, delaying some skiers" -- Hmmm.. guess the weatherman thought were snow clouds instead of clouds of cannabis smoke..

---
L-E headline: "TSYS leads the pack in 2016 United Way giving" -- Hmmm... and TSYS could have given $10,000.00 more if it hadn't erroneously spent/wasted it on supporting the "THAW".

---
L-E headline: "Top U.S. intelligence chief to step down, says handing in his resignation ‘felt pretty good’" -- Hmmm.. guess he didn't want to be a YouTube viral sensation when  Trump says, "You're Fired!".

---

L-E headline: "AOL cutting 500 jobs, will focus on mobile, video" -- More Hellary's  loss fall out.. AOL won't need as many dedicated buffers to keep Hellary scandals out of the AOL feed.
